Had to share with you all...

So today I was out returning some beer bottles (had a few cases stocked up) and as I was walking down I side road.. I came across the biggest "Heat Score" I could imagine.. (someone being a Heat Score means they are insanely obvious about there weed.. smoking or growing)

I was just looking around at the buildings cause it was an area I dont usually walk through and I saw a ground floor appartment, with twin dryer style exausts cut into a window, followed by 4" plastic flex-tubing leading into the next room.. the windows of the room were completely blocked with what looked like cardboard and duct tape, and you could see extremely bright light peeking out through the cracks. The rest of the appartment was pretty much empty or had very little furniture. There was pretty much NO attempt to make it look like anything other than what it was.. a grow op. Hell there wasnt even curtains or blinds in the windows that weren't boarded up.

Thought it was pretty funny as hell, and I'm gonna be paying close attention to the local newspapers to see how long it takes for him to get busted.. I mean it was a DEAD giveaway, and I'm sure I am not the only person who was noticed as it is right around the corner from a 2-4-1 Pizza (which is the busiest late night pizza shop in town)

No seriously, why don't you let them know that they are being bloody obvious? You got the knowledge to help someone out, but rather sit back and watch someone bust them? There is a big truck loaded with bad karma coming your way my friend!

I'd consider it my duty to help out a fellow weedster.....an anonymous note is no skin off your back. Whose side are you on anyway?

If someone you didn't know knew you were about to be busted would you want them to kick back and enjoy the show?

first of all.. it's in a building off our main street, and they are all security buildings.. the only way I could "get a message" to him would be by mail, and I honestly just dont care enough about the people in this city to take the time to hunt down his address, write a letter, and mail it.

You have to understand, I've been in this city for 10 years now, and not a single good deed/word has EVER been done/said towards me or my family.. this city is filled with drama queens, crackheads, and rumour mongers.. that and "old money" families who feel entitled and look down on everyone else (most of them wont even side step to not walk into you on the streets)

If it was someone I knew or cared about, I would (and have) shared my knowledge with them, as do often on this site. But honestly, if I get bad karma cause I didnt warn someone they are being a major heat score in this town.. it really wouldnt phase me. If it was for something/someone I gave 2 shits about, it'd be totally diff.

There are certain places where I live that everytime I drive by with my windows down I get hit in the face by a distinct weed smell.. definatly not from smoking.. I kno someone is growin nearby... they need to learn about carbon scrubbers..

Great story.. don't warn them, stupid people like that deserve to be cought. I'm all for helping my fellow grower, but such stupidity deserves punishment.
A good few years in jail will teach him.. and he'll come out a better and stronger grower.

I live in a small community of wealthy houses just outside a mid-sized city in ontario. No one ever gets busted here, and if we smell or see something we warn them to take care of it.. That's being a good neighbour, helping those who made a little slip up. Not like trying teach a moron not to do stupid things.

A little karma couldn't hurt. You say no one has shown you any kindness it's time for you to make the first move. I was in a college town last month and I saw 2 guys get out of a car with pots, trays and other grow stuff. I quietly told them it looks like what it is and a few garbage bags would help. They were greatful I pointed it out so they could keep their grow private.
The growers you saw might not know how obvious they are, why not tell them chances are they might turn you on or better yet you may make new friends at least you could get a new source for bud.
The fewer busts the less need for 50 the fewer of them there will be.

Bad Karma my ass...people that careless who would set up to grow like that are only in it for the $$$$....and are possibly into even more dangerous and shady sh*t.

Stay away from clowns like these if they are too stupid to do things the right way then too bad for them.

I'm all for warning a fellow grower and all that.
I do NOT think people being stupid about growing deserve to get busted/face punishments.

However, I would never walk up to someone I didn't know and tell them their grow was obvious. Odds are, if they're being that careless about it, they're going to keep doing what they're doing, someone else is going to notice or has already noticed, they'll get ripped off, and you'll be the face they think to look for first to get their harvest back.
