Starting a 12/12 seed SOG box

Day 20 since light flip, business as usual it seems. Showing slight defiency ALREADY (got fed with Tiger & Big Bloom watering before last, 6 days ago, straight distilled 3 days ago). Ph is fine, these things just seem to be hogs. More to come soon.:joint:
Oh yeah, stickman hooked me up with an old 20lb co2 tank collecting dust in his attic. Gotta love the buddy system.

minor problem uploading pics, don't have the time at the moment but will throw them up sometime later on tonite. Trichnomes are becoming apparent on a good portion of ladies with a naked eye, always a good sign. Whats more interesting though is the 3, and 1 particular (verrry) sativa leaning phenotypes. Much more spaced nodes, but a strange sweet/sour smell..almost hazey...innntterresssting. All are on Day 26 since light flip, pics will be from Day 25. The few plants I left in the Light Warrior (no root trim, no transplant) are pulling through fine, seem to like the nutes ive been feeding them, although they're alot more picky about watering (lots more perlite in their mix and they drink constantly). Some of the more indica phenos arent stetching anymore, which wont make for a great yield, but if the smokes bomb then I know for the next go (I plan on revegging and taking moms of anything seemingly keeper-worthy, and running cuts next go). Got some beans on the way, and a real nice fellow from around these parts hopefully sending something special my way, so a whole lot more is to come. I'll bide my excitement for now and leave some surprises up my sleeve :joint: C02 will be added by the end of the week most likely, waiting on that to work itself out. So uhmm...:yeahthats :woohoo:

Alrighty then, heres a couple shots of a couple random ladies, both at day 25 since 12/12. Trying to keep up with these things as they've far surpassed these images, but will update as soon as I can. Things are starting to stink, now at day 32. A few resin hogs are definetely in the mix, and are looking gorgeous. Still keeping an eye of the more sativa plants, hoping for something special on that end as well. Hope you guys like, :joint:.

Nice job so far Kid. Mines going to start this weekend. Following the same methods as you. Good luck finishing up strong! Peace. Smoke well.

best of luck Tex, their alot of work but they sure do have their benefits.

Not too much to update on, flowers are starting to bulk up and it seems the final stretching is going to cease pretty soon on the original girls. I've got some new seedling in at about 2 weeks now, already showing flowers :woohoo:
1 NL/WR bagseed, 2 brick bagseeds (real spicy, very heady brick, imo), and 1 seed from a bag of Cali Outdoor i got about a month ago. The brick seeds are stretching to holy hell, the other 2 not so much (hah go figure). Will get some more details when I got some time, gonna start a flowering thread here soon :joint:.

Now at Day 40 since 12/12. Everythings looking real on point, for the most part everything is pretty model and very healthy. Some things I'm less happy about is some of the plant who didn't stretch much when flower was onset (a few girls are only about 5" tall, MAX! haha), but thats ok, if they're special they will get revegged just the same and I will take notes that they need more veg time. One female, Megan, is seemingingly surpassing some of the others in terms of density and trichnome production. She has a faint smell of sweet and sour, but I'm waiting for the flush to see what shes made of. Another female has this putrid roadkill/skunky smell, with a hint of sweet tea. A little looser of bud but a monster she is. Below are 3 pics as of Day 40, 2 of Megan (top shot and whole shot), 1 of Betty Page (top shot). The last picture is a leaf shot of a problem I'm having, two females specifically caught spots of this reddish brownnish discoloration, which heightened (quickly) into rust and compromise. The lower growth seems fine, I've been flushing them just incase, but if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it. I don't think its pH (none of the others are suffering). Maybe over fert? The two are a little sativa leaning, maybe it was too much (3/4 strength Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom). Thats all for now, let me know what you think! :joint:

looken real good bro. looks like they flowered when they were young right.

my 12-12 from seed plant took around 3 -3 1/2 weeks to show her flowers. so now she is big.
next time im gunna grow more like your grow on this one. I like it alot.

and with the amount of space that my flower cab has. I could fit 25-30 pop bottles in there.

cuz if I did my grow more like urs them I could use 10 of each strains I have saved over the years.

I don't know about that one leaf.
well ur plants look great so keep em going.

still trying to work out this weird leaf issue, ill have to start an infirmary thread, not getting a whole lot of bites around the part of the woods. Can only think ph, overfed (all seed plants, maybe those few just dont eat like the others..), or heat stress. My temps were around 83-85 degrees (too hot for me, personally) with the PC fans alone, so my buddy who built the thing with me went nuts and created the most effecient circulation system he could imagine and at a cost of next to nothing. All this local sativa nug really got the wheels spinning haha. Won't spoil the setup until I have pics, but its pretty interesting to say the least. That being said, my heat issue is no longer. :woohoo: . Day 44. Megan looks close, maybe a week or two. Think I should start the flush? Ahh I need a better camera and a handheld scope/magnifying glass. Anybody got a nice and cheap suggestion for a trichnome-see-better device? haha. My sativas smell kind of limey...one almost hazey...they're really whats exciting me. New pics soon.

Okay, so I've been feeding a little heavy (most of them liked it) and I concluded with the help of a few friendly fellows that I was burning them up with a little too much nitrogen, and am flushing them out some with R/O water until they show me they need it. Its my first go with any type of liquid fert and I guess they're easy to over do.

On a lighter note, veg box is nearing the end of construction. As far as the flowering ladies, everything looks gorgeous, and some of these things are really packing on some serious weight. I have any EXTREMELY sativa female who looks like shes trying to escape from the roof (haha) and am planning a nice bending regimen to keep her in line. Day 51 since light flip, first girl to come out will be Megan, shes about 25% clear, 75% cloudy. I've been flushing her for a few days, and plan to for the next week or two, until shes flushed nicely and trichnomes get a little amber going on. Still trying to get a nice camera to do some justice, but will update as soon as possible visually. All for now, lots to come very soon.

Pics from Day 52. First up is Megan whos just starting her flush, She'll probably come down around 60-65 days. Wanted to wait til I had a better camera but couldn't resist. Full plant and crown shot. Next shot is my wild sativa in training, odd angle but I'm sure u can make it out. Leaf curles from a day without water :noway: found her will her top node flopping downward, she has my attention now. the next 2 shots are a projected keeper, shes got a good 3-4 weeks left on her. Her names Christina. In the last shot i'm holding the outside of her nug at the widest most place, how ya think she'll yield? :yoinks:.

Looking good, Clepto.

I'm about 7 weeks behind you. I'm very interested to see your yields on these. Nice work!

Not too much to update on, other than the fact that I've concluded I've been feeding them all a bit too much, and flushing is helping but they still aren't quite back on track. My guess is that I was flooding too much nutes into the dirt and by the time I started flushing them it was too late. Some ladies have been losing some fan blades to necrosis, but the best thing I can do I guess it keep flushing and hope they're flushed out for the harvest. Most still have about 3-4 weeks to go.
By the way, if anyones thinking about running fox farm nutes in the future, refer to the feeding chart (NOT what it reccommends on the bottle) before u dilute ect, as the bottles for Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom reccommend a MUCH higher dosage than the chart (I rationalize being that my nutes at 1/2 dose burnt them pretty badly). I recently read something about this in another thread, and I'll see if I can find a link to the chart.

On the other hand, the ladies that weren't burnt (some damn heavy feeders for what i was chuckin at them :D) are looking well, and are primarily the more indica phenos that will be coming down in the next couple weeks if all goes well. Need to get my ph on track, going to buy some strips tommarrow. Store bought distilled isnt cutting it, think that my pH may be a little low.
Anyone have any recomendations on balancing my pH out, without having to order pH down/up?

Thought Megan would be coming down this week, as tommarrow will mark about 60 days, but shes a little less than half cloudy and I'm gonna let her take as long as she needs.

So I got some pH strips, gonna go test tonite and see what it is that is going on for certain. Also, does anyone know of too much ventilation being possible? I haven't posted info/pix of my vent set up, but I almost feel like its becoming super dry (not hot, mild/cool even) but there can't be much humidity with the air exchange I have going on. Hmm. Pics tonite. Day 60.

Day 64, cut down the first lady (not Megan, her name is Amy) due to an early stress induced set of hermie branches. she was about 70% clear, 30% cloudy, very foxtially sativa structure but surprisingly close nodes for the way she grew. Will post pics when I get the chance, just been scrambled the past few days. Too much good music in one area. She had decent trichnome production, nothing special but average, and a kind of sandlewood/spicy smell. I'm gonna paper bag her for 3-5 days, then into burpers. Wet weight with leaves was about 12.5 gs, so I estimate 2.5-3g dry/trimmed, shes been flushed pretty decent (had been since she caught a bad burn from a mistaken nutrient regimen and started losing all her fans on me), so I hope she fairs decent. Just excites me about the ones getting the few extra weeks in :joint:

15 girls have come down as of yesterday, they ranged from about 60-85% cloudy individually, no amber. sorry about the lack of flower updates. All are chopped, trimmed, and in paper bags getting their dry on. Due to a financial catastrophy, I have until Friday to get the remaning girls out of there, as the power is going to be turned off where this is happening. The remaning girls need some more time, and I hope can cloud up in the next 5 days. Lights have been switched to 10/14 and they are being giving R/O water.

New location won't be up until July 1st, so a slight downtime is going to exist, and reveg. is probably not going to happy (sad, there were a few girls who really had some potential).

I've got the veg box all done, just needs to wait out the storm to be filled. Bud shots and dry weights on select girls (if I can report on all I will, but will do my best to give a nice representation) are coming fairly soon, the biggest girls look about 10g or so (dry guess) whereas some of the runts may only be 1-3g, but we'll see soon! They smell, really stinky. Very sweet and skunky, some almost spicy/metholated.

Gotta get a good cam for these, few days to do it. All for now. Ciao.
