Been looking around for a new home with a decent focus on autos and have recently settled here after PG went away.

Not a guru but not a novice either. Anyway the G13 Poison Dwarfs are a bit of a pain. Germed out ten seeds and six popped. Of those, four survived and three of them turned out to be male. Given the fact that I had actually spent money on these bloody things, I will be damned if I am going to get a micro yield off one sodding plant and not have any of the genetics to play with later. So I collected pollen for later and also did a seed run. Netted about 250 seeds which frankly struck me as kind of pitiful and it took a lot longer than most autos. But I have the beans to play with and I am about ready to do another run with them and I will put up a grow show in the not too distant future for those that are interested.
Now the reason that these are a pain is that the ones that one recieves with the G13 name on them all seem to have a bit of a bad rep. Everyone seems to recieve immature seeds. I know that I did and got a bad germ rate as a result. I will not try to blame them for the male to female ratio. That kind of thing happens in any suppliers seeds now and then. But now I have the mature and fat seeds I am not worried about it. I had planned on kind of putting these in the back of the personal gene bank and forgetting about them but then I got curious and decided to smoke a little of the bud that was left after the seeds were harvested. Now I know that it is not going to be ideal and frankly it was not. The tric's were waaaay past amber at harvest to make sure the seeds were nice and fat, near ready to drop on their own. Anyway, the flavor blew. It was very papery and vegital. I went through two joints thinking what a bunch of crap and then all of the sudden wham. A short lasting but very very soaring and disconnected from the body high. Not bad all things considered. But that is not the bit that has me growing it again. About two hours later the weird effect hit. I got a bloody stiffy that would not die. Ha! And I mean it got annoying for my girl. After a while it got annoying for me. The damn thing stayed around for the most part all night and a good chunk into the next day. Great for weekends but it is not so hot if you have to work.
I have smoked it three times now and each time a nearly identical effect. I am going to gift some to a friend and have her get her man to smoke it and then report back to me. Not gonna tell him the effect so there is no placebo effect going on. But as you can imagin it has made me decide to go back and explore this strain a bit more.

Cheers

Well I have gotten the G13 PD's that I kind of expected to be oddballs and they are. The auto White Russian that I got off them I expected to be good and so far all have been duds. I have one lonely male and one lonely female both incredibly bloody small. Surprisingly they are both expressing a little bit of a purple pheno which I had not heard of in the auto White Russians before. I am going to try to get a seed run off of them but when I say small I really mean tiny as in still seedlings. And it is not like I have done anything different with them from all previous autos. So it could be some wonky genes. I don't know. Not sure if I should think it was Attitude's issue or not.

I have several of the poison dwarfs started now in staggered plantings. I will start posting about them when they get old enough to be interesting.
The most interesting thing about them though will be to see if they still have the smokable viagra effect like my first seeded girl did. It was so extreme each time I smoked it as to stop being cool after the second time. But we shall see.

got 6 poison dwarf and 2 LR2, 10 days old. The PD are about 1 1/2 inches, the 2 Lr are almost double in size, but all look good. Out of 6 PD seeds all germed and grew except one, which formed a taproot and first set of leaves, then quit, not dead, just not growing roots. I may start a journal, not sure, but I will post progress every so often as I can not find much info on growing poison dwarf.
