Well to clear things up I don't use soil anymore, yes this last set of girls in soil is 22 and 11 of them were flowered at once to just get them outta the way so I could get my coco perpetual SOG goin which I have a row started but I'm going to be kinda off set for a few weeks till I get my cloners right and set a week apart like I had before the ph lock out and everything that fucked me up a while back. So now that my main Thunder Goo mom is back on track to putting out 6-10 cuts a week and I have a new one in the making I'll get more Jiffy 7 pellets or I may stick with this perlite cloner cuz I finally got one to work for me and it looks like all 15 cuts in are rooting!!!

Also I plan to play around with SCROG in my secondary flower chamber where I have a topped Thunder Goo in a 5x5 square pot of the Black Gold Coco Blend that I had laying around and wanted to see if I get good results in it using Flora Nova instead of the Fox Farm which I think is what caused the lock out along with no ph kit lol but so far this bitch is HAPPY and may out grow my cab!!! I'm just going to tie her down and shit cuz I don't have a screen to put in there but yea I'm going to play around with bigger plants too I just want my SOG cab going first so I always have meds and then I can experiment in my other cab..

I had got a 8th of this lovely purple hybrid called Heavy Duty Fruity and I found 4-5 bananas on one of the buds and I was stoked!! So I plucked em out and smashed with the tip of my finger on the top of the lid of my weed jar and got a nice amount of pollen on my fingertip. I'm sure most of you could guess what I did with it, you know I pollinated a Thunder Goo that was in week 4 and the pistils died and looks like I may get a few seeds out of it!! Which will be awesome cuz I know they will be female and I just might get some bad ass elite clone only strain if it's really good that's what I will do with it is clone the shit out of it and spread it around!!!

Well that is good that you no longer are going to be using soil. And coco should be better and help with the deficiencies as you say they have already. Sounds like you do have a nice project going already then with the "Bonsai" and I will definitely like following the outcome of how it and the rest of your plants do in the coming months.

P.S. Most pollen is no longer viable if not collected and stored within a day of being ripe. Especially, left to dry along with the plant material, but I'm pullin for ya damn it LOL

Hello Thundurkel. I have been following your advices for some time, and I really really love your work.
Anyways, is it better to use only 2700k CFLs or use mixed spectrum for a SOG? How many square meters/feet do you recommend for about 200w CFLs?

Red - The hermie I speak of was a sack of bud I got from the dispensary haha and yea I grew a plant 12/12 from seed in my early days of IC but it was some shitty bagseed . Once I get all my shit right I will order some beans so I can select my own moms and find those special phenos ect.

Bmw1000c - Thanks I'm glad you like all I do, as for how much space and spectrum I would use a 2ftx2fx2ft space for that amount of light and I would do 80/20 2700K / 6500K .. I'm installing another 2 sockets in my main flower chamber pretty soon and putting in two of the 26w 6500K bulbs
Personally though I would try to get 50 more watts, I know DrBud got great results with 210w over 2sq ft but I think being new to this we should all use a bit more than he did and thats why I have 294w over 2.5sq ft so hope that helps... Happy Growing and good luck, I would say using Flora Nova Grow and Bloom with a soilless coco mix and you should have great results guranteed and get a ph kit!!!

Do you have any more details on the coco perpetual SOG? What size containers? Hand watering, dunking, auto? Im interested.

Well free radical nothing has changed except nutes and medium... I'm still dunking the 20oz bottles but I'm using Flora Nova Grow and Bloom with Floralicious Plus and Florablend Vegan Compost Tea ...

Ok so here's what I'm doing if you are looking to copy my setup and what I use ...

I'm using Roots Organics Coco Fiber Hydroponic Soilless Media, I'm using the 20oz gatorade bottles still and now I use Flora Nova for my nutrients with a modified Lucas Formula for coco. For veg and the first 2 weeks of flowering I feed 1tsp(5ml) FN Grow and 4 drops of Superthrive. When week 3 comes along I then switch over to the FN Bloom at 5ml per gal with no Superthrive. I also use Floralicious Plus and Florablend Vegan Compost Tea but I'm doing a test between 2 girls with the additives and the other 2 are using the Lucas Flora Nova only formula. I use 2 2liter bottles cut at the top where the label starts and it takes 1qt to fill it up enough to dunk 2-3 plants so thats how I go about that cuz it saves on nutes to not mix up a whole gal when I only need to water 1 row. It also makes sure my girls get a fresh batch of nutes every time they are fed which is every day.... Hope that takes care of all your questions, and as for strains go with Sour D's or the Cali Kush's or any hybrid that's got a good amount of sativa in it like 60/40 - 75/25 sativa/indica

So there ya have it things are looking great for me and all the haters will feel stupid in the following weeks.. Also if you are wanting to run this style and setup talk with your doctor about how much space you have and the amount you'd be getting out of this setup and see if you can get 10sq ft of canopy. I really think all of us mirco med growers need to protest the plant count garbage and try to get the laws rewritten to where if they are going to put a limit on numbers it should be if you have so many plants you are legal to produce this much medicine ect I dunno it's just a thought cuz not all of us have space to grow out 6 big plants and can only grow 6 small plants and the harvest from them will be gone in 2 weeks so it's not worth doing vs running a bunch of little plants and get enough medicine each week for that week I mean call me crazy but doesn't that make more sense???

Thanks, I'm getting there I just got some new ladies that I will have to dial in as well which is Chem91, Strawberry Diesel, and Little Blessing#5 (Bubba Kush x Deep Chunk) thanks to a fellow IC member and you know who you are GOOD LOOKING BRO!!

Also I got my PH strips and Up and Down today!!! No fucking wonder I had problems with my Fox Farm nute mix cuz it was between 4 and 5 !!! talk about lock out lol I checked my water and it's at about 7.0 I'd say and when I mix up my Flora Nova, Floralicious, Florablend Vegan Tea it sits between 5 and 6 leaning more towards the 6 so no wonder I've got such great results with Flora Nova cuz my PH was perfect with it!!!

yo thundo do you have the pheno of ssh that gets very nasty swollen calyxes with dripping resin. or do you have one of the more haze pheno's?


and all im gonna say is ph strips can sometimes be a bit off and i can assure you coco like 6-6.2 ph range way more than a 5.6. anyway i know you will play around with it and some of your genes might prefer a different ph but i generally had way better results using 6-6.2 range.
