what is worst, most dismal place that you have ever been?

by place i mean like a specific town where u could leave or stay at will....(not like "jail"..or "prison")

for me it was Dawson Creek BC....we had to stay there in a hotel for a cpl weeks getting vehicle repairs. (the fresh prince thread reminded me of this shithole).

there were a few days straight that we didnt even get out of bed, and we were/are very healthy....but we saw every fukin fresh prince episode, and every cosby episode ever made....fuckin lame.

watched canadas MTV type channel...i forget the name ....and fuckin became a fan of avril lavigne :wallbash:
(...and im still a fan)...bet no one would have guessed that :1help:

umm right here where i grew up.sucks im tired of it there aint shit here its a urban city and theres only a few things you can do,like usually i go to the gym or play basketball,ok how far of a cry is that from prison, not much and try doing it for a long periods of time it really turns into a endless cycle of boring.it really explains the crime&poverty rate i mean if i wasnt creative or patient id be in prison with alot of people i know, and they went there cause its fun?

Lancaster City, PA....Once your to the point where the drama going on in front of your house, is more than the Blockbuster movie you rented...your house gets fire bombed and 4 times I had guns pointed/fired at me. Some crack head tried to stab me:noway: Never again...

Once I found a guy shot in the head...I had enough...and moved to Baltimore:yoinks::D And moved on....

Now you can barley see my neighbors houses...perhaps a little too quiet for me, but my plants enjoy the peace!!

You can eat off the floor on my blocks. Anyone spitting or otherwise dirtying up our home doesn't realize most accidents occur within the home. Any place that has cockroaches & a certain motel in Kitchener, don't touch anything.

There's a great bar in Toronto called Grossman's the name fits, its at Spadina & College right across from the El Mocombo tavern where the Stones recorded half of the Love you Live album in the late seventies when the strip was rocking. This restaurant bar always had the top up & coming bands doing the circuit. They sold cheap beer & draft. The washrooms are just as famous for being filthy & flooded at all times.

Once when I was travelling a lot for work, I was flown out to New York City. On Sunday before the week of training, I took a subway WAY the fuck out to go see a race track. The track was closed DUH! So, I rode back. On the way, I stopped and got out at a random station, and decided to see what street level looked like. MY GOD!!! It looked like a war zone. High rises, shit all in the street, old cars, I was like "Holy Fuck, get the fuck outta here now!" So, I hightailed it back down to the subway station, and rode it back to mid-town to my nice posh hotel. I'm just a small-town country boy from the midwest. Sure, I'd been to big cities before, but the ghetto? Nope. That was like being transported to another planet.

First thing I was thinking was jail also, but after reading further I saw it was not included.
So i'd have to say Virginia Beach Virginia, spent a weekend end there and it was right next to an airforce base. The constant sound of them jets and or airplanes and helicopters flying over about drove me crazy.Never again will I go there. It sucked.

Buffalo, New York...

Specifically the bus station downtown, in the late 70's.

Scary assed shit - the cop wore a gun I couldn't have lifted back then...

Kids used to throw rocks at the greyhound buses as we drove thru the city, and there was always a burned out wrecked car by the side of the road, right in a busy, high traffic, high speed area.

I was dating a girl in Greece, NY., and had to bus thru Buffalo regular. I'm white, and I was a very visible minority.

An all black high school! My brother's wife is black, and I completely love her and her family. This is not some racist BS, but go to an inner city black school and it's no wonder their people can't succeed! It's the most horrific shit I've ever seen.

Ha! I was going to post that Oshawa was the place for me, but didn't want to offend anyone from there. I went to college there and within 5 minutes of being in that city I knew I had made a mistake. Dirty, run down, depressive.
