Since I never really introduced myself....I'm Miss Blunted. I've been on the forums for a few months, but lurking around my manfriend's stuff for a couple of years now. I like my indicas and I like to grow frosty nugs. :canabis:

- Where are you from? Upper Midwest.
- Why do you like cannabis? I like to be high and it's the best medication.
- How often do you smoke cannabis? Throughout the day.
- Do your friends know that you smoke, do they smoke with you? Some of them do and some don't.
- What do you like to do when you are "high"? Garden outside, listen to music, take a drive to nowhere, sex, growing weed, home improvements, walking, an occassional drink and some late night television

Hope you had some good stuff to eat with that cow. Us Texans worship cow in a whole different way than the Hindus do......

BBQ is fine in Texas and I gotta get back soon. Brisket is a favored cut there.

Mmmm....brisket... Ain't never had no Texas BBQ, always wanted to try some. Must be pretty good.

In my opinion (so far) Tennessee ranks #1 in my BBQ lineup... Go Memphis BBQ...yum yum yum......

Yeah I just love good BBQ brisket with my own sauce recipe naturally.

But TENN does have good BBQ and my ppl were there before 1845 and then came to Texas. My roots are Virginia...North Carolina...Tennessee...Texas

so I am pretty much a bastardized southerner down to the bone prolly like you also.

But Chili and BBQ is art form in the south. I am getting homesick and need to do a trip home soon. I missed our family reunion Easter because I have hard feelings for some ... They never approved of my lifestyle being a "HERETIC" or Humanist I call it.
Or toking "ain't Christian" in my extended family's book.
So I went away to Florida and made my life here with my nuclear family and am very happy these days.

But they want me to come back to "forgive them and I don't know if I can after all these years, My mothers many wealthy brothers and sisters are old and dying and Christian and know they were wrong "NOW!"
So I will do it next easter for "them" and MY OWN KHARMA.

but after I visit East Texas then back to Pasadena to see my old oil refinery buddies who are getting old like me and RELIVE "URBAN COWBOY" era we had once in Texas.

Those were the days and granny Madre was HOT in her tight jeans ....western shirt....big belt buckle and boots ....western hat...
doin' the "Cotton Eyed Joe" dance.....drinkin' Lone Star long neck beer.

Oh to be young again....te he

Just wanted to shout out to Madre Cinco if she is reading this thread.

I did not mean to offend you in the thread about women ironing.

Just wanted to shout out to Madre Cinco if she is reading this thread.

I did not mean to offend you in the thread about women ironing.

I imagine the men at an Oil Refinery in that time period were very mean to any woman that came into their workplace.

I imagine it took a lot of nerve to go to work someplace they were abusive. A mother will do a lot to make sure her children have it better.

I was outside gardening today and see the thread was closed and I know that you took my post badly.

I was not trying to offend you and am sorry that I have.

Although I have put this in a positive rep to you already, I wanted to make it clear to others that I was sorry in public.

Lola

Lola.....sorry it took a while to answer your post but I did not want to approach it on a personal level with anger. I had to find my center again....te he
You and I with the fine educations we have and OJT should make us more enlightened than average women ..

But when you hit a persons
"achilles tendon" it takes a while to regroup. But not just I was offended you know?
I talked to many I trust here and a few on this site about it.
You and I have had a couple of minor conflicts here before.
Guys even joke about it when they rep me here. Guys get a kick out of chick squabbles. I don't quite understand why though.
BUT TRUE.
It is funny when it does not get UGLY like IT DID. Me and Mrs B even joke around at the 28 day factor that ROJO brought up.....
and WHO KNOWS if this is a factor.
But I had a total hysterectomy at 30 from giving birth to 4 children[one was my husbands son I adopted] and doing the backbreaking work in the refinery that proves we women are maybe not up for some of the labor maybe. I don't know.....it could be....but many women now support their families working there and better computer driven technology makes modern day chemical operators life easier it seems.
. So I don't PMS NO MO! Menopause is a bitch at 30 though.

But I do have feelings and emotions for my cause. Just like you do daily for your cause. Now I can kinda understand the other chicks issues....
BUT YOU?
A "WOMAN" AND AN RN????????

PPL like you and her is why we women don't have the ERA now!
Were you at the Houston Convention?
Were you at the HUNGER STRIKE in Illinois in the END of that major ISSUE for us American women? NOOOOOO!

I got the T shirts which are valuble now.

"At Least Do No Harm" LOL Docs code. For the women without the courage to fight for our cause.

to the Women's Movement.
No you make FUN of women who had THAT COURAGE.
And OF course
I DID IT FOR MY KIDS!
I told you my mom died when I was 3 and I was raised in an orphanage and by my older sister.
So I was determined not to ever let my kids go without
IF I DIED TRYING TO SUPPORT them.
In 1973 when I started that job I had only a 9th grade education because I married at 15. It was either challenge the refineries where "the good paying" jobs were OR work at K Mart for minimum wage. I had "girl balls"
And I did read Ms magazine in those days and knew about Affirmative Action.

My kids dad was a soldier. And not an officer. They did not make enough in those days and 5 kids cost a lot of money....college .....braces....
Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans... dance lessons ...football gear... yada yada yada.....

So I really don't appreciate it. I promised Gypsy I would be good or leave the board as we both think I can contribute here on an intellectual level and not an emotional outburst like was done here. That don't help the weed movement either ya know?
So I promised my husband to step away for the weekend and fly with him up to see his mom upstate who is ill. And hopefully next week we can be civil and contribute here and share our experiences.

But I won't be posting in the womens section any further. It is yours now dear. I canceled myself out of the Ladies of ICMag as I don't feel it is a woman friendly place. We must accept others with different lifestyles than our own... Especially enlightened stoner women.

Mrs B
Mrs Swamp
Granny Stormcrow
WW
808K
are examples of Womens Women!
We could both learn from them.
But anyhoo.....yes it was very hard at the refinery at first naturally. But I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! Because I learned so much that many never get that opportunity.
But when my husband retired from the service in 84 and started contracting his skills to companies who help other countries training their soldiers in guerilla warfare my husband was lucky to get a high paying job for the next 18 years and I was able to quit my job and go back to school to become a RN....never an LPN/LVN either and NO medical training before that except pulling dead bodies out of hydrocarbon explosions and trying like hell to save some.

So I really was offended by you and dongle. But I understand why dongle does it even though it is annoying and pisses my 19 year old granddaughter TO THE MAX......But she will be training in psychiatry medicine so she better chill out some before her MD....te he
Plus the girls I mentor now in their nursing studies we took to dinner last night were offended by it as they are poor mothers also trying to get better life..

OHHHH BTW......my avatar is one of those "cigarettes I put out in 1979.....te he

Was one hell of a cigarette FO SHO!!!!LOL\And I smoked one HELL OF A DUBE when I got home after that.

BUT I wish to move on because I have a few friends here and maybe not as many as you......but it ain't HIGH SCHOOL and we are mature professional women now.
I always did better with my few closer friends than running with the pack anyhoo.

So You have the womens section and the growers section all to yourself now...and I will just take the good advise I got and move on and contribute in a positive way and not let you and dongle push my buttons
AS I KNOW BETTER really.:wallbash:

have a nice weekend and this toke is for the women out there busting their ass for the love of their kids and Lolagal! te he
