GOT HIM!!!!!:woohoo:

I went to the local animal control center as soon as they opened today (1pm) and there he was......in the last kennel to the left, sitting at attention, wagging his whole body. Can't tell you guys how relieved I was when I saw him. The animal control officer that picked him up was a really cool guy. He said he picked Deuce up around 9:30 a.m. in a neighborhood almost 3 miles from where I live. Cost me a bill to bail him out, but I would have paid a thousand just the same. Know I know how my parents must have felt when they had to pick ME up throughout my high school years. lol

Thanks to iGrow, Mrs. B, S4L, steppin, cellar, Rob and to everyone who was thinkin' good thoughts!

You must be the happiest guy alive today...I'm so happy you got your buddy back!

Glad to hear you found him 5LG! Time for a bigger rope (or a chain). Amazing how far they can travel when they get out. Good thing for animal control, too.

good news goat!

I remember chasing mine many many times..
Labs love to run don't ya know?
One day in February, many years ago, below freezing temps, I chased his ass for over 9 hours..he thought it was a game!
I was sooo pissed that day! but looking back, I would do it all over again.. :joint:
Same Lab, years later.. ate a room-mates pair of thong undies..got caught up in his lower G.I. tract, cost 4k and around 2 feet of small intestine to keep him on this side of the dirt for a few more years!
Man I love my dog!

Love the thread. Good work!

I have a 13 year old yellow lab/husky mutt who tore her ACL on her back left leg a few years back, the vet said she would live for another month max, and was fine until like 6 months back when she did it again to the other leg. I am starting to think it might be time to put her out of her misery, but I don't live at home so that is up to the parents. Last time I was home though, she wouldn't leave her bed. I had to basically pick that 90 pound beast up to go to the bathroom.

Mr. Blunted wouldn't let me put my big Fluffmaster Flex in a pumpkin suit for Haloween.....he's not gonna have a choice this year. I have to deal with passing out the candy, so I get a fluffy pumpkin this time, ha.

So glad to see you n deuce reunited i'd say your so relieved.

If he's not chipped it might make sense if he's an escape artist or even better there are these collars out you put a mobile sim in and you can track it down with your mobile or tom tom..great idea.
