Ever Been Interviewed for Radio or TV?

Today marked my fourth radio interview which I realize was about as exciting as watching flies fornicate, but they wanted to talk about banking and finance and that's supposed to be one of my strong suits. It's certainly an ego boost, but we only had about 10 minutes and that's never enough time to cover a subject with any amount of depth that would bring an acceptable level of understanding of what was discussed.

Yesterday I got interviewed by a stringer for a major newspaper and today was this. I wonder what's next...

Anyone else had some experiences with our friends in the media they would like to share?

I still remember the first time I was on television. I was 8 and had drawn a picture of a turtle and colored up. They put it on the news with all the other kids (for God knows what reason) and I remember seeing it.

The first time I was interviewed on a serious subject made my head swell to about six times its natural size, only to find out this sort of thing was not something anyone but me would even care about...

I actually work at a radio station and talk on the air all the time. I used to get really nervous, but it gets easier and easier.

I was interviewed once before & I can even recall verbatim what I'd said.......
"gee he was such a nice quiet neighbor I never would've thought this possible."

and of course I made media headlines on more than one occasion, that count?

Well, aside from being in countless audiences on live shows that actually show the audience(sorto like SNL) and being a background actor on a couple of movies shot in my area, and a role in a music video for a famous rapper(Blue shirt, selling ice cream, holla if you seen me, haha), I've been interviewed a couple times.

Every time it's been mainstream media it's been local, two times the university radio station(which is actually quite popular as it's one of the more interesting non-commercialized stations), one time the news for a community outreach program i was directing and five or six times by the print media, on two different occassions for two different strikes i helped organize. But that to me is all shit, MY proud moment is being interviewed for an underground station that broadcasts in shortwave and i was interviewed right after SubComandante Marcos!!!

That was... wow... And anyone that thinks badly of the Zapatistas should look up their history and their accomplishments... Truly unique and inspiring, as they've done a lot for their people. I hope to one day accomplish what they've done in my own country. Socio-Anarquismo para todos!

You just gave out your real name bro. Book looks cool though.

I've been on TV a few times. I suppose with all the hundreds of channels and millions of camera shots everyone on the planet could be on at some point. I always look fat on TV (but then I always look fat off TV!).
