i have been adding the LQ right from the beginning when i first wet the mix
from then on out
it's good stuff and i have never seen a problem using it early on

i believe this is what he does
Mix all the dry ferts into the soiless mix well and wet it, but don't soak it with Liquid Karma and water @ 1 tbs./gal. Stir and mix it a few times a week for a week or two so the bacteria can get oxygen and break down the bone meal and make it available. And don't let the mix dry out, keep it moist and add water as needed. It'll also have time to get the humic acids in the Liquid Karma going and the dolomite lime will be better able to adjust the pH of a peat based mixture too.

so... only the LQ

wtf,,thats with lc's mix,,recipe # 1,,,u just water to harvest with LK and molasses, and thats yr results,,damn,,,looks awesome,,
ive grown a lot,,always used pbp,or foxfarm,,,i wanted to try this out,,to be 100% organic,,and frankly to be lazy,,i hate phing,,checking ppm's,flushing, mixing nutes,,whatever now that ive seen the results,,it almost seems too good to be true,,u just water to harvest with the tea,and u get consistant results, whats the point of using commercial nutes :p

Basically with LC's #1 you want to feed the soil, not the plants. All of the nutrients from the blood/bone/kelp will be broken down into the soil and available for your plants to use as they see fit. Any ancillary feeding is done if the plants show signs that they need more of whatever deficiency is observed.

From the reading I've done, the EWC/molasses teas are the maintain your microherd in the soil. There really is no point in using commercial nutes since we are organic growers and self-sustaining :)
