SFV OGKush - fresh harvest

I'll answer these questions all at once...

I average 4-5 ounces per SFV in 2.5 gallons of soiless medium, grown with GH and bat and bird guano tea.

Yes, retardo, send that label right over, the box will be on it's way. :)

If you mean a grow report in High Times... no, not yet, but they are expecting an SFV OGK report from me soon. There are tons of smoke reports on this cut out there already, so I won't be repeating the effort. I have some dried bud shots somewhere in my old gallery, I think... But I'll try to remember to get some shots when this is dry.
Please do a grow report, because I have yet to see what a 4-5oz plant looks like in veg. I have 5 gallon pot and I'm not getting anywhere close to those numbers so please help me out.

Hey Crazy Composer, do you mind if I post a picture of my OG? I think it looks very similar, and im curious to how long to let it go. Its obviously not a frosty, but you see my point.

Keep up the great work. I vegged until they were 18" tall under 2x600w and im hoping for 35g's per plant. This is my first time growing under lights.

Great flush, Great trichs, well done sir.... puff puff pass it to the left!
How long did you take her? Have you found this strain somewhat difficult to clone? Its new in my garden and last to come around.
The chem family is astounding in how much the strains show they are related, yet have become so distinct. All from that deer creek show, I too was at, back in the day. Who knew.

i have this same SFV OG Kush clone for meds (THANKS MAESTRO ) and about 10 total in clone that i will do a grow report on (chemdawg D, Chemdawg #4, The SCHROM, Peak 19, C99 X grapefruit (pineapple pheno), and the newly revamped A11(seed form for the Peak 19, C99 X Grapefruit, and A11) The rest are clone.
And from what i've found out was that the CDD, CD#4 and The SCHROM took around ten days to grow her legs. The SFV OG Kush took a bit longer. About 2 weeks or there abouts.. so, yea, my knowledge of her is she does take just a bit longer to root, sometimes up to 3 weeks...
this is just my experence with her

CC, what the hell does the SFV stand for in the SFV Kush?? Dumb question, i know....

smoke em if ya got em :joint: :canabis:

so anyone wanna know the real story of og kush?

for starters OG doesn't stand for original gangster or original general as if its some goddamn gang status. it stands for Ocean Grown.

"OG Kush, Bubba Kush and The West Coast Dog.
"In late '93 John from Grass Valley Ca. got the Chem Dog cut. He shared it with Jerry(cowboy) from Dibble Creek Ca. and Harold(Putz) from Sunset Beach Ca. Putz had a male he called the secret ingredient. It was a cross of Lemon Thai and an Old World Paki Kush. Putz bred the secret ingredient to the Chem Dog. The buds that came out of this cross were going around So. L.A. county in '95. Someone told Putz that Kush must be so good because it was mountain grown. Putz laughed and told him "this Kush is Ocean Grown Kush bro". The tag stuck and it became known as OG Kush. In the spring of '96 Putz married a girl from New Zealand. Before moving there he sent cuts of his OG to Jerry(cowboy) and Bob(beans) in Salinas Ca. He gave all his P1 stock and all the remaining seed he had to ****(mad dog) from Downey Ca. In late '96 **** sold some seed to some guys in the Valley. That's where the San Fernando Valley cut of OG comes from. It's like the Original only more sat in pheno type. **** sold a cut of the original to a guy in Orange county and that cut is called Larry today. It's still around Orange county. **** sent one other cut of the original OG to a breeder in Europe. As far as I know he never let anyone else have it.
Jerry bred his Chem Dog cut to a Humboldt county indica male. This was the beginning of his cubing proccess. At BX3 he got a pheno that had all the smell, taste and kick of the Chem Dog, but in a pure indica pheno. Jerry gave this plant to Bob. It became known as the West Coast Dog.
Bob bred this plant to Jerry's(cowboys) Old World Kush male. He took a male from that cross and bred it to the OG cut Putz had sent him. This is what made the original Bubba Kush."

One of my all-time faves. :) Very tasty, very weighty, excellent bag appeal, stonier than the great majority of what's out there, and just a pleasure to grow and harvest. Harvest is easy, very few pain in the ass leaves to remove. An A++ plant in my opinion.

For the record, the Chem #4 clone I have, and this clone, have a similar bud structure and smell. Coincidence? You decide.
Wow that is just covered in sugar bro,a beautiful looking bud for sure.

doesnt that ogkush story differ from the very first post in that chemdawg 101 thread?

ANYWAZE, i find it very interesting you think the Chem4 and SFV are so similar. I personally dont find any similarities to eachother.
You just find them to have similar smell/taste and nug structure??

i'm gonna agree here with Spic, i don't find many similar traits between og kush and chem4.
maybe the chem4 and sourD i see some similarities.

I've heard both that there are zero similarities, and also that Chem 4 and SFV are very similar. Which makes me think someone may have the wrong cut. Got any pics?

i think there are some similar greasy undertones between this chem 4, og kush, and sourD. i just don't think they are THAT similar.

oh forgot to mention....haven't grown the SFV before, smoked it but....have grown a few other og kushs, Larry, ghost, sunset.....
