i woulda been up, but i was the only PROMPT person there.
i reported for duty at 3pm, then stoner time took over.
i partied my ass off for like 7 hours b4 anybody showed.
late fuckers.
but it was the edi's that did me in.
oh and everybody was forewarned about messing with a sleeping lion.
only woke up with my weave looking all nappy.
way too much weed, bubble, bho and edi's
i already apologized to a few members i might have missed, or been too incoherent to recognize.

You're right, I absolutely should have gotten there earlier....let's say 10:00PM when O said she'd get there. Of course, I had the boneheaded idea that I should goto Long Island to drop off some treats for friends in the local area. Well I left my house at 8:30PM and got to the Verazanno bridge at 10:30PM. It took another 20-30 minutes to get on the Belt Parkway....and that whole rigamarole put me back hours. Of course I wasn't about to miss the festivities...
The earliest I could crawl in was around 1AM. Still some crazy ass mofos hanging about...standing room only. The rest of you hibernating people were all crashed out in the livingroom. I didn't even get to see one of illustrious hosts until today.....LOL.
Nonetheless....lemme just say this: At this stage of my life I hardly thought I'd be accumulating new friends of this stature. I was conversing with Cella prior to this shindig and recounting how many good people I've had the pleasure of meeting...I told him point blank that I'd have no compunction hanging out with any of the folk I've met even if weed wasn't the thing that brought us together.
Cella and his wife are one hell of a couple. I can say the same about O and TOH and Hydrofome and his wife....all some of the kindest, most generous and fun people to hang out with. Cella and his significant other made me feel right at home when I visited them for the Bowls and Cuts celebration......Hydro and his better half were just as cool when I had the opportunity to stop in tonight. O and TOH are a whirlwind of energy and are truly indescribable until you've actually experienced them for yourself.
Of course.....there's Brother Bear who's truly a kynd soul....definitely a kindred spirit.
Lapides and his gal were no less fun and I have to say that I'm impressed with the knowledge and skills Lappy has.....that's one smart cookie when he gets to talking about what he's passionate about.
Money Mike....not exactly what I expected, but cooler. Very light on words, but what he says has impact and is right to the point. Funny no B.S. guy who can smoke until there's nobody standing..ROFL. I'll have to thank him personally for the tutelage, hash and strains he shared on 4/20.
Art of Making Fire.....we had a few words before the F.U.C.K.E.M. thread closed...and some exchanges that were heated....and this guy welcomed me with open arms for the celebration. Another class act. Xactrical (sp?) Always with a smile and ready to burn one down.....was a pleasant guy to meet.
PeterPan: we didn't get a chance to talk much, but he seemed like a worldly and fun-loving character! Then there were numerous people who I bumped into but didn't catch their handle or name.....all good peeps.
Bottom line: I'm greatful that I can still be making friends at this stage in my life. I'm not sure how we'd have met if it weren't for the plant we all know and love....but had there been other opportunities...I'm fairly certain we'd still have alot in common.
However, I'm elated to know that there's a group out there that doesn't look down their noses at you for "partying"...and that I'm not the craziest mofo in the room....ROFL (I guess that's up for debate).
I can go on for hours and hours raving about you guys/gals......but I think you get the point.
I gotta thank O for being so generous again and allowing me to bring back a chunk of budder that's as big as a glacier.....the cuts were splendid too! I'm gonna try to get legs on them asap....very eager to see what transpires.
Lapides....another special thank you goes out to you for the extra-special treat you brought upon my request....I'll be sure to save that for a special occasion..but as I warned you....you've probably opened pandora's box...and ultimately I'm gonna pester you to show me how to fish for myself on this particular treat.
I'm sure my forthcoming gift will be reciprocal and you'll have a blast next time you indulge.
And lastly: thank you Art and MOney for offering an invite to the super-ultra-hyper-secret gathering and the other party that people split to get to......
If I could have stayed, I would have in a moment....however I've got to get back into Clark Kent mode....I've strayed from work and wife for a bit longer than I normally do.
Whoever liked the tank....I'm sorry I only had 1 to share and that I had to bring it back with me before you had your fill. Rest assured, I'll be sure to come heavy whenever there's another shindig....quite possibly sooner than everyone thinks.

in a strange way, i wish i coulda been there and am a bit jelous of your escapades, but you know what.. horsehead and all things aside, if it was -15 or 20 years ago/and take away the negative experience the system handed me in my more youthful years.. i would of been.. in a flash. damn them for the paranoia. but it's good to know shit is going down and continues to go down all around us..exicted to watch all new shows that are around the corner!

I'm just trying to clear the runway of unnecessary clutter. I'm absolutely going to adhere to any advice given as I don't want to waste an opportunity. Not sure if I'm capable of providing any additional insight but I'm always down for posting it if I find it.
Just outta curiosity; why is there a suggestion of peppermint or parsely instead of using cannabis?
I know you stated that outright burning of the crystals would denature the substance, but I'm uncertain why one plant material is superior to another.

You could certainly try it. It's just that I've heard the spice smells like brand new Nikes when it's in the vial and the taste doesn't get any better once it's vaporized. I always thought of it as a waste of pot. Plus, some cannabis strains have a tendency to induce anxiety, and every time my friend blasts off into hyperspace, he has enough anxiety as it is.
There's no reason you can't use pot for your spice sandwich. Just make sure it's ground up and dried well.
