Not selling the iInhale...as a matter of fact I brought it to the movie theater last night to see "Watchmen". Great portable device for just such an occasion.....
Couldn't very well bring my Volcano in there. I had a 1/2 tsp. of cannabutter and set things off right with a few chambers during the opening credits.
I do in fact really love the Volcano. I've smoked on 2 separate occasions since I first got it.....one time was at Cella's bash. The other time was this Tuesday. I had a small bit of "blueberry" that was gifted by O and TOH. Not enough to just grind up and throw in the Volcano...but enough for a small J to share with friends.
Given the opportunity and choice, I'd always opt for the Volcano these days.

Hey access, you said the iInhale is super stealth, but how do you go about packing it with stinky herb in public? I know it's dark in the theater but it must wreak when you break out your herb to pack the device. Please enlighten me as I am really thinking about getting one.

I have the weed pre-ground. I put it in a little tylenol bottle. Last night the theater was practically empty for the 9:30 showing....practically had it to ourselves. I spill a bit of the weed into my palm and then make a tiny ball out of it...and put it right into the chamber.
I dump out the spent chamber into a little baggy that will ultimately go right into the popcorn bag or goobers box...LOL. The new herb is a bit harder to handle. As I said, it's pre-ground...and yes, it does stink to high heaven. In the past when it was a bit more crowded, I'd excuse myself as if I was going to the bathroom...go into a stall, pack it up and go back to my seat. I've even done one or two chambers in the stall for yucks.
When I'm in the bathroom it's fairly easy to manage. Inside the theater, it requires a bit more expertise. I have to been adjacent to a wall so there's nobody next to me. Additionally, I try to sit in the back so nobody is behind me and I can get a clear view of everything around me. You can press the chamber into a pile of herb and just scoop it in there.
Bottom line is you're not going to have a huge session, but if you want to get moderately stoned....3-4 chambers will do the trick.
In my case, I went in with a "base high" from the cannabutter. The iInhale was used to bring me right into the mindset I wanted...and then kept me there cruising for the duration.

You could also have the weed in a little ziplock all ground up and then press the chamber into the bag along with it...scoop it in and voila! Unfortunately that only dawned on me right at this moment....oh well...next time.

Other then the ganja itself, is there any smell emitted from the device while its vapourizing the herb (even just a little)?

How bout when you exhale?

I would love to know that I could use it in a theatre and the person sittin in front of me could smell absolutely nothing! But Im probably dreaming...

How bout sound? I've read that the device makes a buzzing sound... How loud is it really? louder than a vibrating cellphone? Electric Shaver?

My first experience with a vape (volcano) was a bit of a disappointment... If this thing is as good as eveyone says it is, I will definately get one... I just need no smell (apart from the buds themself) no sound and nothing to see (I love the fact that its so small!)

I dont even need it to get me blitzed, just something to get thru the times and places when I cant blaze a spliff...

G. Sensi: There really is no smell....if anything you do smell the steamy fresh vegative material. But it's gone in a few minutes. It absolutely doesn't smell like a burned joint or a bong/bat hit. I'll put it this way, I'd feel perfectly comfortable iInhaling in my car and being and having someone sit in it less than 15-20 minutes later if I didn't want them to know I party. I wouldn't blow the vapor into someone's face, but you won't really notice this in a big well ventilated area. If you're concerned...bring the old fashioned toilet paper tube with bounty stuffed inside...and blow through that. The device itself has no odor while working...but the inhaled vapor MAY have some sort of minimal odor. Once again to reiterate: it doesn't smell like anything burned....
If ANYTHING, as the chamber is spent, it smells a bit like burnt popcorn. That's perfect for a movie theater!!!
There is some sound from the iInhale...it makes like the sound an iron makes when you hit the steam valve....a sort of "whooshing" noise. It's pretty subtle, but you don't want someone thinking you just ignited a shoe bomb and this is the latest terrorist plot.
It always makes me worry that someone will think it's an incendiary device...LOL.

The iInhale looks so much like a phone that sometimes when people are looking my way, I put it up against my ear like I'm listening to something.

All in all, I wouldn't say this is the BEST vaporizer on the market. But I can say that it's the BEST PORTABLE vaporizer I've used. I know there are few people here that have suggested vaporgenie, etc...but those require using a lighter....so I'll further refine my point: the iInhale is the best self-powered contained portable vaporizer I've seen or used.
Things like the vaporgenie may be great and less expensive...but using a lighter continuously in a theater may be a bit odd.

I think this device can get you "blitzed" if you vape enough with it, but it will most certainly get you through those times where you can't blaze properly. It will definitely get your buzz on, and it will absolutely maintain your stone at an appropriate level.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear bro! I figured you would have to have the herb preground, and I have some super small jelly jars that would be perfect for transport. That is my thing, obviously I always leave the house with a base high but I am looking for something stealth that will help me maintain the high throughout the day or whatever without drawing any unwanted attention. Nice points and thanks for the input.

I'm borderline with my volcano..

It's tough for a few reasons..the upkeep on the bags (replacements), the warm up time, the fact you never know if all the THC was extracted cause the buds dont burn, etc..

Taste...i can't say much about, i dont smoke the kind. only mid-grade, cant afford that good shit, and growing isnt an option at the moment..

mine sits around. i prefer blunts bongs and my pipe before the volcano, but it DOES come in handy when you want minimal odor, you're sick, or have a respiratory/medical issue.

As an experiment, I took the schwaggiest nug I could find and put it in the vaporizer to see if the taste would improve.
I was PLEASANTLY surprised that the OLDEST, NASTIEST....SHAKIEST....otherwise unsmokable stuff was practically transformed into a flavorful and overall good smoke.
Maybe "schwag" is a harsh term. I would say it was mid-grade....not dirt-weed or compressed mexi-brick.
It was more like stuff I've had sitting around for a year that I would have just turned into "budder" for edibles. Absolutely not the thing I'd reach for to smoke at any point in time. Everyone's got something like that sitting around in a bag somewhere deep in some forgotten closet.
The Volcano literally transformed the taste into something that was not only acceptable, but something people that are "pot-snobs" would certainly enjoy.

Now of course, that was just an experiment. I don't need to, nor do I prefer to smoke that freshmen stuff. But to be able to extract just the best elements of whatever it is you're vaporizing is an amazing commentary on it.

As far as extracting EVERYTHING out of the vaped weed....well the manual that comes with the vaporizer suggests that you take the "spent" weed and re-grind it and re-vape it.
The whole thing about vaporizing is that you're just taking the surface area of the weed and removing the THC from that. The heated air doesn't pass through the weed, it passes around it. Therefore the more surface area you can expose, the better your vaporization will be.

As another interesting experiment, I've been accumulating all my vaped weed and putting it in a jar. I'm going to take the spent stuff and eventually as I aggregate enough I'm going to try to make "budder" out of it. I can then extract the last remnants of THC and other goodies. I have no pre-existing personal experience with this myself, but I have spoken to other people that have told me point blank it's an excellent idea and it will work better than I can imagine.

So there's really no waste involved.

Additionally: I used to come in at night and throughout the day....I'd smoke about a gram bone every few hours....even a few bong hits or a bowl. I'd go through anywhere from 1/8 to even 1/4 of weed per day....thats PER DAY.

With the Volcano, I don't need NEARLY that amount. I can easily take a gram or two and that will last me practically all night. I couldn't qualify the amount of weed I was smoking by looking at the ash. But with the vaporizer, I have a tangible and measurable way to accurately determine what I've consumed.

I'm literally higher than I ever got in the past...and nowadays when I do have to smoke a joint or pack a bowl with someone...it always tastes like ash.....I can't appreciate the flavor nearly as much as when I vaporize.

The re-usable bags cost alot less than the weed I was wasting in joints. I can use a bag for approximately 100 refills. You get 5 reusuable bags in an Easy-valve starter kit. That's 500 bag refills. I go through 3-10 bags in a night sometimes. For me it's equitable and it's totally changed the way I party.

The minimal odor and the ability to even party when you're 'sick' is another plus. I'll let you in on another secret....my lungs have improved linearly since I've started vaping...

Everyone that's been smoking for years knows that your lungs go through phases where you've got tiny little burnt up raisin lungs....and other times you can suck down a 6 foot column of smoke in a 3 foot glass with a 3 foot attachment no problems.

Well, the vape has fixed all my lung B.S.. Yes, the THC acts as a direct irritant when vaping...so you get a bit of a cough which is easily fixed with some hot liquid while vaping....I like white and green tea...very complimentary experience....and very relaxing.
The smoking just tears the sh*t out of lungs.....plus the carbon monoxide, and the tars...and all the other jazz that comes from inhaling something burnt.

Don't get me wrong....I'll still not turn my nose up when I'm with friends and the joints are blazing...I can hang with the heaviest smokers.....but given my choice...I'd vape.

I still love my glass, and I can't turn down a bowl or a bat either.....but had I known the vaporizer was going to be as good as it's been to me a while back...I would have had one then.

Alright i ended up buying a digital volcano, came yesterday... I agree, its freaking awesome! Now only tested 1 strain so far, but it gets me plenty high, the taste is much better... and the high more plesant i think... ofc. i will know more as i test more, but im really happy with it!

Also bought myself a volcano yesterday.

I bought it cuz of it's ease.

I must say the vaporhighzer is better than the volcano , taste wise. Much much smoohter and more flavor. does not make me cough.

Bit it is a glass , bong type breakable vaporizer so i passed fot that one.

The volcano has the same effect , but the bags , well they give you freedom of movement.

But the volcano make me cough a bit after a few bags. I vap on 5.5.

So does anyone have any tips?? This coughing reall is disturbing , it didn't make me cough in the beginiing

Overall i like the volcano , just the taste , or smokeability is a bit less compared to the other vaporizer

edit , just have finished 2 volcano bags , halfway the second , it starts to irritate my lungs and i cough like crazy.

Isn't the point of vaporizing to , save your lungs?? why am i coughing like hell then??


But this volcano sure gets me baked , i don't feel it if i on't move, but as soon as i want to move, i notice i am fucking high.

I read that the pure THC is an irritant to the lungs. So I'm not sure that the coughing is something that can be entirely eliminated....after all "you've gotta cough to get off"....LOL.
However, that being said...you can certainly minimize the throat and bronchial irritation a few ways:

1) drinking hot liquids; such as green or white tea (coffee works well too)
2) cough drops
3) turning down the vaporization temperature

The first and the last method are probably the best of the two suggestions. I've noticed that alteration of the temperature has a significant impact on the texture and quality of the vapor...and can impact the coughing/irritation significantly. I friend suggested I turn my temperature down to 365 degrees because that's the temperature he read cannabis vaporizes at. I was at 390 or more....sometimes I do that with particular strains for a variety of reasons, but I try to stay around the suggested temp.

i love the tatse of weed and to me a vap makes everything after the first hit taste like popcorn..to me that's part of the experience is the different tatse weed gives..use a glass piece and enjoy the taste herb gives with every hit..

Effect is important , but being ale to smoke or vape it too. I also tried setting 4 4.5 and 5 , all make me cough. Just the first hit is nice , and then the second hit from the bag irritates.

I mean , i wanna vape more to get higher , but my lungs just fucking hurt

This thread still lives! give this a try:
Take some wet or moist herb, even a broken up leaf and add it to the chamber with your herb. the moisture will go into the bag with the vapes and help alot with the lung issues. Regarding flavor, i still find anything over 7 to fry the taste out somewhat but I have noticed that after a couple of weeks of vaping alot suddenly the herb smoked in a bowl can seem less tasty. it definitely took some getting used too. i use it regularly now though and like it. Works great for bubble too!

hey well after trying it a lot i am happy with it

It's just in the beginning i exagerated , its different than smoking, and you know , you miss the feeling son ur lungs in the beginning and u inhale like crazy and even press the bag

But afterwards , u realize , u can keep going. , after 2 hours , no sore throat , no aching lungs, and super hihgh/stoned



I actually had to stop cuz i was alomost too high(if that is possible) never felt bad , though , i know when to stop.
Although this hasn't happened in many years

I still smoked 1 joint with tobacco today.

Evn though i was super high , i was still mega pissed cuz of the nicotine shortage(makes me pissed as hell) and i was weak.

Tomorrow i will just keep vaping

Well...if you're wondering...I am still vaping almost 90-95% of the time. The only occasions I haven't is when I can't...
My Volcano digital has become a never ending source of steamy hot goodness 24/7. My lungs have improved markedly. My sense of smell and taste came back appreciably and I ultimately use or waste alot less weed. My vaped remains go into a ziploc to make budder. I can vape right before any public outing and not smell like I just came from a raging party. Nothing lingers on your person. It's the uber-clandestine stealthy smoke that's healthy for you too! How can you beat that with a stick?
I'd say you at least have to try it once in your life if you haven't already.

I love my volcano, i crank it up to nine and hit it through the bong. just put a rubber grommet between the down stem, and the mouth peice. works great. I get all the shit in the weed. It gets you super toasted.

Alright people: It's a bit after 4:20 on this fine Thursday in May. I felt compelled to post this almost immediately after today's session....

I'm at work. It's not easy to do a quick and dirty smoke break during the day because of a multitude of reasons....safety, odor, time....etc. You simply can't just roast a big j during work....the stinkfinger and lips hang-time is excessive and there's no reliable way to wash your hands and face....hair and teeth enough to smell "clean". I don't care what you say or who you are....I can smell a stoner a mile and a half away if they're smoking the good herb.

That being said, if you want to get high and want to avoid being detected....vaporization is the key.

Of course I'd love to have my Volcano on hand....unfortunately that's a bit over the top for my job....LOL. What's been essential and has worked out extremely well is the "iInhale". I've commented about it here in this thread and elsewhere before. That's the gizmo that got me back into vaporizing after having abandoned the technique years earlier. I used to have one of those Vapor Bros. gadgets, and it just didn't do the trick.
But I digress.....the iInhale was something cool, new and fun to toy with. I didn't expect it to work as well as it had...and I absolutely didn't think it would be as stealthy and odorless as it is.

I've used it in movie theaters, hotels, concerts, restaurants, family's and friend's houses....a chamber or 3 and you're good to go bro.

It will never replace my Volcano. But if you use this thing for the right reasons the right way you're have an incomparable time....

One additional benefit: My wife has actually become cooler about my partying since I've begun vaporizing.....she doesn't complain about the "ashy" smell in the air....and she never gives me the evil eye anymore when I'm all baked......
I think it was a whole syndrome of things that kept her a bit less than enthusiastic about my partying....Thank you vaporizers!!!!!!

P.S.-It's only been 1/2 hour since I vaped at work. I thought I had a full hour to clean out the joint of any "potential" odor. Someone walked in 1/2 hour early and they didn't notice a thing out of order.....maybe just me a bit more amped up and animated than usual because of the unanticipated surprise....THANK YOU AGAIN iInhale! I couldn't have done it without you!!
