I'm fairly Positive OG Kush is weed X Weed - cloned ... To find your own "OG Kush" I'd start with some weed seeds because there's Definitely ... Weed ... in OG Kush.

I'm more than a little skeptical so I'll post some pics once they start growing to see what people think.

That will be 3 Kush varieties I'll have now.

have grown and smoked Bubba, good pot but not my cup O tea. im lookin forward to a few different OGs, but man they are slow. slim spindely plants, can see how they will need quite a bit of veg.

theres no doubt in my mind theres some type of sativa in the OG, and most likely alot of the other Kushes about.

out of what i have here, the LA Pure Kush is more of what ya think of when you think Kush. big phat wide leaf, thick sturdy stalks. LA Pure is a pretty impressive plant in growth. massive bush.

The Top strains that i've seen alot of trichs are Some Purple strains, Ak-47, Purple Urkle, Hash Plant, OG Kush, Purple&strawberry kush, White russian, G-13 x Burmease, c99, Macro, Purple Sensemillia, Power Plant, Godzilla, Lemon Swiss but yes for the most part Kush has stood its ground to be 1 of the best

So if the Chemdawg x (Lemon Thai / Pakistan Kush) lineage is true.... why the hell do they call it Kush? By percentage the make up was only 25%, and the OG Kush clones aren't really even true Kush plants?

So someone tell me... why call it Kush when it's not? Shows the amateurism by the pollen chuckers that made it... and shows the amateurism of all the fools chasing it...

The most clever response in this thread was "it's weed x weed isn't it?" I wish there were more people out there who gave a shit about legitamicy and proper breeding and less about trying to feel "elitist" about cannabis. Cannabis has been here thousands upon thousands of years and grown all over the world... in the 70s you saw the diversification of cannabis basically come to a stand still. Since then it's been mixing & matching of the same African, Central American, Middle Eastern Indicas, Himalayan plants, and Thai/Asian genetics. Instead of people trying to make their own "White Whidow" or "Skunk" variety from quality genetics, we have been crossing and crossing and incrossing and outcrossing the same basic roots over and over again. Lame.

You would think a society built out of happy hippy stoner types and wanna-be-cannasuers would be better than that. But for some reason everyone is more interested in reshuffled genes. Skunk hybrid x polyhybrid / polhybrid = ELITE CUTZ ONLYZ OMGZZZ let's call it KUSH!!!

OG Kush is a great strain don't get me wrong here but to say its the most potent is such a hard thing to really tell, only way is testing the THC percentage to see the potency.

I have smoked OG a few times but Trainwreck blew it away!

My OG Kush hype faded after about 3 bowls... it was extremely tasty, but the high, although initially intense, was one-dimensional and boring, and the tolerance buildup was immediate.

I'm surprised people are willing to pay $75 for 1/8 of anything that's not dipped in hash oil and rolled in kief. Suckers...

yeah Id be sorry too if I was silly enought to pay $75 fer 3.5 grams of any herb because it was called something....
I know how good OG is, its damn good!! but I wouldnt even buy it at $50 fer an 1/8...

i'm just grateful that i don't have to purchase any herb for $75 an 1/8th...wowzers!

yeah, OG is one of my favorites, probably will be for a while too....i think finding a good pheno in a cross or fem to improve the yield and vigor but keep the dank smells and flavors is the way to go though, the clone only's have too many problems.
but definitely changing up the smoke every once in a while keeps it fresh...
