growMEDS, you got enough room to dry your bud inside your cab. A scrubber comes in handy for drying as much as it does growing. Nice work so far.

yield.

yield.

:woohoo: Dried weight stands at roughly 3 ounces of über bud, 10 g fluffy popcorn buds and about 20 g of frosty trim, which I'm water curing because it stinks to high heaven.

Really pleased with both yield and quality. The high from this 'Snow white' is very cerebral, kicking in a bit later but then lasts for hours, eventually mellowing out.:rasta:

Thanks to Pipedream for setting up this brilliant thread, and all the other members who contributed a wealth of info.:respect::bow:

Seems only yesterday I was posting on here for the first time and now I'm smoking my own

Here we grow again... :Bolt:

MY BAD. The pic or my monitor was too dark and I didn't see the fan at the top, just the little one standing on the shelf. I also thought the doors closed toward the inside and rested on the front edge of the shelf. I stand corrected.
:rasta:
My bad too! Not that great of a pic. It's hard! haha

Thank you. :)

I think I could cut holes in the shelf to vent the harvest room up to the flower room through the carbon filter?

I want to order a CF and fan.
I'm looking to go 4" and trying to get both parts from the same place to save on shipping.
I've been looking at htg and hidh.

I'm thinking I should spend a decent amount so the parts will last and hopefully even work if/when I go more watts if decided.

Please help!!
Much thanks in advance. :)

growMEDS, if plug & play is what you want, both suppliers sound like a good way to go. I've read lots of good things about htg specifically.

A 100 cfm fan with a speed controller and ~40 cfm scrubber will work if you have enough room to install. How big are you thinking of going in the future? You can probably rock a 250HPS with this setup as well. If you plan to go 400HPS I'd go at least 150 cfm fan and comparable scrubber (maybe bigger) At this point some growers run a 6" fan (speed controller on low) because it's less noisy than a 4".

You can make do with the 4" gear, but if it were me, I would go with 6" right off the bat.
And I would loose the louvers. Far too much money and very inefficient airflow.
90deg PVC pipe painted black on the inside are fine, and work great. If dust freaks you, they are easy to pull woman's hosiery over them for a filter.

IMO 150's are fantastic ways for folks to learn the sport of growing. They also allow the urban grower many options for the stealth grow.
A 150 cab should be just that. And it only takes minimal gear to keep 150 grows alive and producing. If you are building a cab that has more potential in terms of grow space, then it's fine to get started with a 150, but do it with the gear that you KNOW you will be needing once you upgrade your lights.

A 150 cab is great with PC fans and 4" duct...but in the real world, anything larger than a 150hps is going to require increased air flow and/or design improvements.
Sure there are those who scoot by on less, and they may even tout their set-up...but they are lacking if they do not have the right gear.

I use this box for a dry box, as well as a stud box. I decided to grow a scrog for the helluvit. 150hps w/6" Suncourt duct booster, DIY ref.

I have a revegged moc carn mom in a 2gal bag in the scrog. This bud came from her cut.

Just wanted to hand out a big thanks to Bulenath for saving my seedlings. They're now 4 weeks old, and looks like they'll make it through.
I was using Peat pots :wallbash:, which absorb all the moisture and let the dirt dry out within 20 hoursish.

Live and learn.
These are both from some Kush bagseed I had.
Its crazy how different they look from one another, color size and leave shape. (pictures don't really do it justice)

Dang... that sounds like not too much. haha

Thanks for the info. :)

I was thinking at HID go with the can2600 and one of these fans?

220CFM 4" Centrifugal
http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/220cfm-centrifugal-cannon-fan-by-hid-hut-p-1757.html

Canfan High Output 4"
http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/canfan-high-output-inline-fan-178cfm-p-85.html

And they have this fan speed controller...
http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/the-speedster-variable-fan-speed-control-p-647.html

Or I can get a CF on it's own and go with an S&P fan from HVAC. These are only 68 and 80 each compared to 100+ for the others.

TD-100 -- 4 inch round duct - 101/97 cfm (high/low).
TD-100X -- 4 inch round duct - 135/100 cfm (high/low).

Plants r lookin good. I read somewhere you have to put yer own power cord on S&P fans. It's pretty easy if you've done that kind of stuff before.

Thanks man! :)
I read that as well right AFTER I ordered! haha

I saw the whole step by step instructions that somebody posted here.
Looks very easy. I'll buy an xtension cord with the wires ready to go from h.dePOT.

Not sure. Have you tried a search on 150 watt CFL? You could probably flip it now if the distance to the plants is sufficient. Look for signs of heat stress and or light bleaching. The plants probably need to harden off a bit before you can give them full force light. After they grow a bit, some strains love to be right next to the bulb (provided ventilation is sufficient.) Others require several inches of distance or they stress.

I like those shades on the small CFLs. Do they get too hot to touch?

Cool man. Well I decided to switch to the 150 this morning.. hehe

They stay pretty cool if you have a fan on them.

I just realized I'm only using cfls now and I'm in the 150 hps thread.. lol... I cant wait to use my 150 hps! haha
