I got the boys parked in the Rubbermaid tub. I figured if I waited too long, they'd start popping and mess up the girls.
The quickie cloner works pretty good with all the cuttings showing some roots and the bigger ones could be planted. I scrapped them all, no sense keeping just the LUI's since the other ones were boys.
Here's the lineup now. The LUI in the back has really stretched with the other plants still short. No sex yet on the two TL's and the LUI.

Here's my boys that I kicked out to the rubbermaid. It takes a while for the flowers to develop and open up. I figure they'll start popping this week.
Wow, i can't believe i missed this one. I am recently back myself, Red. I remember you from a while back. You inspired a rubbermaid grow of my own. I learned a lot from your DIY.

Hey dontstepongrass and spaydNfaded. Pull up a chair and stay a while.
I took a peek at my plants before lights out tonight and noticed the big LUI is thirsty and all the other plants are ok. It's water cycle has been shortening so it's getting rootbound so I decided to repot it tonight and gave it a feeding of week 3 mix.
Here's the gang before beddy-bye.
I've repotted in flower and the plant just loves it. Never leave open floorspace in you cab it you can help it.

speaking of 420, I was gifted some small nugs from a good freind who just bought a small sack. I'm happy cause I've been dry for a long time. The buds were rushed and obviously not flushed and dried right out. Cough cough, and they burn black and a joint won't stay lit. I can't wait for these ladies to finish.
TL#3 just started showing preflowers last night and this morning they were all popped out so I chopped him down. I repotted the Shiskaberry into an 8" pot and am down to a TL and a LUI that are unsexed in 6" pots.
I should have taken a few pics when I did a rootball forensic on TL#3 which has mostly grown under 12/12. It wasn't rootbound and not highly developed for it's age compared to a vegged plant.
When I veg from seed, normally it goes from a beer cup to a 6" pot to an 8" pot in 30 days and repot to a 10" pot in about week 2 or 3 of flowering.

Once those boys start opening up, those fan leaves will begin to look like someone was using a flour sifter over it. The pollen loves to float around if disturbed which is a bad thing if you have a lot of air movement or close to the ladies. It's a good idea to have a spray bottle with water and a some paper towels handy to wipe down the area. Do you think there will be an issue with the pollen getting out, say falling through the passive air holes in the bottom or past the filter?

That's a good question. The boys are segregated in the Rubbermaid setup in an upstairs bedroom closet and my flower cab is downstairs in a laundry room so I'm not too worried about contamination. The rubbermaid has a scrubber with fairly low air flow. I'm hoping it doesn't pump too much pollen around. I've noticed when I've had hermies, the pollen drops and all the seeded bud is at the bottom.
My plan is to seal up the tubs and take them out to the garage and thrash them silly. I think I can put a bottom tub and a lid on and get them out cleanly. I can do the same with the light chamber and clean everything up outside.

This grow is taking on a life of it's own. I just checked on the boys and found TL#1 sprouting hairs. The balls are different from TL#1 being much smaller. I don't know if I'm coming or going with these plants. I've read that Thai's are hard to grow. TL#2 has just popped a flower. Didn't see any pollen but I've got Tammy back in the flower chamber.
Am I growing hermi's tranny's or just some wild thai's?

So it's back in the rubbermaid with TL#2 the true male. I figure I'll grow it and get a couple of popcorn buds when I chop TL#2. TL#2 has a couple of flowers starting to open so it won't be long before it pops.

I'm trying to keep up with you here and make sense of all this, but I just can't wrap my head around what exactly is going on. I won't ask any questions (yet) - I'll just wait and see what you're brewing up over there and see if it comes full circle eventually.

Heya red, I just wanted to say thank you for the rubbermaid thread. I built a similar one (but with all the tubs right side up, not inverted), though i have yet to install the scrubber (using the little air filter). Will post when I get it done.

I'm jealous I wish my cab was all neat and tidy with a door on it like that... That's what the next one I build is for right? Looking good bro, I'm back on track now that I'm using my compost tea only and switched back to Kellogg Patio Plus and my new girls are happy as hell like they used to be!!! Soon my friend I will be on top of my shit... hopefully lol

OK Boys here's a weekly recap.
LUI currently in Week 4 flowering. This girl is queen of the growbox. She's stopped stretching and has been repotted into a 8" pot (1gal).
Shiskaberry in Week 4 flowering. It's been repotted to an 8" pot too. This strain is a bit pokey but is very resinous and potent.
It's supposed to be a good candidate for SOG. I've scrogged it a couple of times with good success.
LUI in Week 1-2 flowering, just showed female preflowers. I think I've been overwatering a bit, the fan leaves are huge!
Thai-Lights #3 in Week 1-2 flowering, just showed female preflowers too. I'm hoping this one stays a girl.
Timmy and Tammy. Here's my two Thai Lights boyz. Timmy on the right is 100% male but has one female preflower. Tammy has male flowers and started sprouting hairs. I'm keeping them segregated in my Rubbermaid.

I sure like my cabinet. It's definately a step up from the Rubbermaid tubs, not that the tubs don't work cause they do very well. They are purely functional where the cab is so nice to have doors and not have to lift the top tub off and on. I don't know why I even bother with a scrubber cause I'm peeking at my plants all the time I'm home.
One last tidbit. My premixed solution of Big Bud turned funny and went all snotty and smells like cabbage farts. There must be some bacteria or yeast in the recipe. I used up most of it and the powder is so concentrated it's not a big deal.
