I was just wondering if the outdoor part (condensor) can be indoors or would it be bad for your health Im building a room in my basement no way to exhaust need a sealed room I dont think a window ac would work seems like it would be forcing air hope somebody can answer my??? oh ya my room is 5x15x8 would a 12,000 btu work?

no i wouldnt put the outdoor unit indoors....you can try but this isnt a $200 window a/c, if u mess it up ull be out some major $$

i am going to get one i will need some advice hooking it up


it is easy u just need the right tools (or know someone)...dont take shortcuts! also get the pre manufactured linesets..trying to flare your own copper & all that just to save a few bucks just isnt worth it!

Ya thats not a concern my friend does hvac im just wondering if its bad for the health of the people living in the house. I want to do this right and dual mini seems like the right way

and then you would need to cool the garage as it would be like 130 degrees inside of it

and the air conditioner wouldnt function all that well with the heat buildup


so in reality

it goes outside

If you buy the prefab line set make sure you tighten it and put a special tube of thread sealier but it can only go on the thread. And make sure you tighten the fuck out of the nut i thought I did and I leaked out for a few seconds but know it does not blow cold air. I have to get a hvac guy to come over and I bought the vac pump and all. But I will see how he does it and not fuck up ever again
