Swampy ---

The Flo mom finished up for yo in 7 weeks? Now that's my kind of bumper crop! I'm really digging the structure of the Bluedancer as well. Is she giving off a nice berry or blue scent? Off to go scale some mountains brother. I'll have a jay of F13 at the summit for ya LOL!

You lucky SOB! Have fun! Ya, DJ himself said this cut "insists" on finishing in 7 weeks. She is only four and a half weeks in that pic so I expect some more purpling in the next coupla weeks. The BD is everything I could want in a blue strain (so far) She smell so blue. So...sweet. Very nice. Cant wait for a puff. I moved her closer to the lamp afet smelling her flowers, I wasnt big flowers of that! LOL! Enjoy your hike!

7 week Flo!?!?!?! Where is this magical princess?
good vibes

Ya mon. The Flo finishes in 7 weeks. Per DJ. I am sure you could take it further, he his advice is that it is counterproductive. You smoke Flo for that racy high ya know. I plan to take her @7. Where is she?? Well in the swamp of course.

Hey Astartes, before you get to the summit, smoke a pre-summit spliff of the f13 on your ride up in the gonjola for me! Lucky dog. Me, i'm going for a hike, not as scenic but a prehike F13 is in order.

I think the new F13 we have is better than my F13 Motabon. Already, she smells more like what I want. But mine carries a more "blue" smell. This one is more skunky/creamy. I like it. I want it. Especially now that I have a good representation of blueberry, I am not trying to kill the cravings with F13. I will toss both together and smoke at will. :)

I really like having so many different strains. It has been very challenging and continues to be a PITA everyday. But I have learned so much so far and I feel like I am a better grower now than I have ever been. I mean, not only pot, but all of my other plants are thriving. Orange blossoms are coming, Loquats, a huge pinapple sage in March.

I still wanna tackle hydro. But after so many conversations with so many expierienced growers, the average has been that soil grown plants taste better. I know this is a subject of debate, but I think I know soil. I dont know hydro. I do know that (and I am not bragging) my herb consistantly TKOs all the other herb in my area. I have a lot of "dankhead" friends. Most are well traveled and know good pot from schwaggy sensi. But this soil thing just brings the flavors out. I am sure it is possible in hydro too, but I dont know how to do it. And it seems that nobody else in my area does either.

This will be the first harvest I have had that will contain some of the more "elite" plants. My soil mix+genetics= monopoly. LOL!

All jokes aside. I am a soil grower. I respect the hydro guys. I have yet to sample any decent hydro grown stuff. All the really amazing herb I have sampled has been either coco or soil. I could be wrong on this. But again this is only my personal, humble experience. I am quite sure that that fire "dro" is out there, I just have got to try it yet. I am sticking to what I know.

The funny thing is... I was in chat earlier and jiggy and I were discussing ammendments. He says no way, I hell yeah. He asked me what I added to my soil and to be honest, I could barely remember. I dont measure much. Eyeball everything. But I think the important part of adding soil ammendments is making sure you have a diverse content. Organic nutrients work better when there are many different sources for each nutrient. In other words, the more the merrier as far as variety goes. I have three different guanos, grrensand, EWC, a little can of this myco stuff that I add at transplant, and...shit I forgot.

LOL!

Later ya'll

Hey spamp, have you noticed any variegation on your flo cut?? I was gifted a few slips from a very kind soul and upon arrival one of them had a small little spot variegated leaf, hardly noticeable even.... now the other two have grown normal, though one does have a spot or two it's minimal.... the other flawless(they're all flawless but you know)..... but the one who sported the spot upon arrival has turned into a freak almost, with almost all leaves being variegated. I just find it interesting that though all the same cut, one has turned so freakish on me... just curious if you've noticed anything similiar...

Swamp, save a few samples of those new flavors you have on the menu for me to test drive.

The next time I'm in town we'll go behind the gates and play 18, smoke some cuban cigars, and then drink some chopin martini's, get all smoked-up, and see who can tell the biggest lies!

I havent on mine bro. But I have heard of things like that happening to Mendo purps I think. Any chance of confusion maybe?? Mine have the trademark leaves of a DJ plant, but no varegation.

kindHypnos, yes variegation does occur on the flo club cut. i had some variegation as mine came into veg after rooting. it has gone away though. Alot of what is deemed mutation in Dj's work is not true mutation, some of it is stress related whether its too much nutes, mites or what have ya. even some of my fully mutated plants have reverted to normal growth after a couple months from seed.
