Hi LG, once again great thread! I have yet another question for you. I've started my clones with the timing youve suggested, but now I need to transplant my lil OG's and prune back and repot all of my moms (bonzai style) when would you say is an appropriate time to do so. by the way my very own moon sign book is on the way. llewellen should send you a check for advertising and customer referrals!!! (;-o====@~~~

This is very interesting. I think I am going to give it a go this year for my outdoor. But I'm still a little confused.. If I'm starting from seed and planting directly outdoors what would be the best time to sprout the seeds according to the phase of the moon. I normally start a week or two into May; in Ontario, 43N.

pic the closest first quarter, and choose water sign days, cancer...very fruitful time....it will be 28 to 30 april, but you have to check the timings for your zone

Thanks Technine, been busy transplanting for days! If starting seeds outdoors in May, stay tuned for updates on good planting days. I'm gonna start putting up the week ahead in Moon Signs!

Week Ahead in Moon Gardening

Week Ahead in Moon Gardening

Hi Ya'll Today is Saturday and Moon is in Aquarius, Barren, 4th quarter. It's a good time to kill some pests, clean pots, hydro equipment teardown, etc.

Sunday 22nd - Aquarius, Barren, 4th

Monday 23rd - 5:08 PM EST Moon enters Pisces, Fruitful, 4th

Tuesday 24th - Pisces

Wed 25th - Pisces

Thursdy 26th - 1:03 AM EST, Moon enters Aries, Barren, 1st quarter

Friday 27th - Aries, Barren

Sat 28th - 6:09 AM EST, Moon enters Taurus, Semi-Fruitful

So Monday nite I will be transplanting. Tuesday & Wednesday good for transplanting, I wouldn't plant in the 4th quarter, but if necessary, this would be the day this week!

GOOD HARVEST DATES:
Today, Sat 21, Sun 22, Monday until 5:08 PM EST

OK, now for my chatty part! I have gone through tons of dirt and been so busy transplanting all these seedlings and clones! Here's one of my WhiteBerry x Power Plant Young Un's

I am told it looks like a White Berry baby, but it does not smell like WB.

My clones are doing great! Big rascals over a foot tall!

I have to keep my nose to the grindstone and transform all my design ideas into reality this weekend. I have a lot of work to do. Finally got all the supplies together to make a bloom area and will flip ASAP.

Some of my Widows are 12 inches tall, so into flip they will go. I will also flip the 2 Moms and some of their clones. I hope that gives me enough smoke to last through till fall.

I sure dread building this grow room, as I know I will have to move a bunch of stuff I have put off moving for years...lol.

See ya'll later! Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Lola glad to see your clones are doing great.

Had to help build a grow/veg chamber, and guess what it's made out of? A huge cardboard box, haha. Has a little door, too. I guess I'll have to post a couple of pics of the "ghetto chamber."

good luck with the build!

Girl, get out of my Head! I have seriously been thinking about a similar idea!

What do ya'll think? Wouldn't it be easiest to build a wall out of cardboard boxes that are taped together? Then I wouldn't have to buy wood for grow area. I gotta finish this up today!

I only have to span 10 feet with an 8 foot ceiling, so this seems possible to do! I would leave a door in this contraption (of regular size).

It's either that or cut up paneling and make a much more permanent wall.

if you can get boxes that are big enough, like the size of a wardrobe or dresser, then you'll have an instant, K.I.S.S. cabinet!

I just need an instant wall or two...lol. Something lightproof, easy to install and temporary. It needs to be re-usable or something in case I change designs.

I'm still working on cleaning out storage area and converting to grow areas. I'm hoping someone will inspire me with great grow room design ideas!!!

My peach tree is blooming, so I'm thinking of putting some of these clones into the great outdoors and taking my chances with them getting frostbitten!

I will be so glad to dial this all in and quit all the moving, changing designs etc. I started out with a 3 x3 area I scratched out of a storage area. Now I'm needing to clean a 10 x 30 foot area so I can divide up the space easily.... I need cardboard walls or blow up mattress walls....something fast...

Puffin and waitin for inspiration!

Ciao bella!!! yeah I've got it and I found it very nice....although I could already manage with moons through some good web moon calendars...

I like the last section too....get organized!!!

Crops are really fine...I have two gals out of three seeds planted in the third quarter...just switched to 12/12.... they are about 30cm/12 inches with 9/10 internodes...today I'll be busy transplanting them and some younger babies planted during new moon....experiments going on here....but I'll post some pics soon!

For those who can't get the moonsign magic book may I remind again this link

http://www.astrologie-info.com/mocal.cgi

it can be set tropical and is calculated 0 UT.(greenwich time).if you get a time zone chart you'll be able to calculate it for your zone by detracting or adding hours

Hey Lola, with the new moon coming what are the best dates for planting? I'm going to be starting quite a few beans in early April..

April 1st after 12:30 PM EST Moon in Cancer, water sign, fruitful sign, 1st quarter.

April 2nd Moon enters 2nd quarter at 10:34 AM EST, Cancer, fruitful.

Moon exits Cancer at 3:32 PM EST Friday April 3rd.

So there you go Che baby! Go Guerilla! April Fools Day is textbook great combo phase day to plant, clone etc. April 2nd just as good.

You will have to use these dates or wait till April 10th for a 3rd quarter planting day! That's great for rooting.

Thanks for the helpful link Grace! A lot of people have been asking for one! I'll have to check it out later.

That's a really good point about time calculation. All times given here in this thread are Eastern Standard Time (EST). Also, try to avoid planting or other activities near the exact time change given, when Moon is traveling into or out of a sign.
