I love sam the skunkman.....keep up the research and development....:lurk:

:ying: kind regards from guineapig ;ying:

of course its possible, easy even look at my picture too.
of course, mine is not as good a close up, and not as pure either, but its just heads too, no stalks...

alright. amazing pictures. much respect.
the secret thing im not gonna bother. if he was gonna tell you guys he would!
experiment with sifting your kief and youll find something that YOU are happy with

as far as using a vacuum to pull out the unwanted trichomes and stalks, there are these tiny automotive vacuums that you could use under a small screen

i think that they actually sold them on tv for a while... anyways it might even be possible to recover the material that is sucked through if you use one of the tiny vacuums vs a larger one

Amazing pictures, Bubbleman!

Thanks for inspiring. When I have the time, I'll go for a long journey to find out how to process hash that fits my desires. :)

Hey furrowed brow, thanks for the kind words man. I appreciate it.

weeeeek weeeeekkkk wasup guinapig, is that not the sickest dry sift show you ever did see. man was i stoked that i was able to photograph it , let alone smoke it lol

Hashmasta, you dont live to far from me, i would gladly photograph your dry sift and show you just how contaminated it is in comparrison to sam's. Let me know

alpinestar, i have used several types of vaccums over the years, including a very powerful shop vac in lugano with breedersteve. The amounts you would get in return and the time that it took to make the smallest amount, just wasnt realistic. Not to mention the quality ended up being around a 5 or 6 out of 10, while the bubble we were making, ( wh ich was coming out by the ounce), was a 8 to 9 out of 10....

Thanks Clovenhoof, but really the inspiration has come from Sam, i am but a mere photographer.....

Bubble man

i never said it wasnt contaminated, but its mainly bits of leaf material, bud matter, not trichome stalks. in all my pics of that small batch you can see only round balls, with dark contaminates.

I'm not going to bitch and moan like most everyone else on here, but I do want to know how this was achieved(I don't think anyone doesn't want to know). But, I am prepared to wait for the "process" to come to market, as the secrecy behind it shows that it most likely will. Then it will just be a matter of going and picking one up. I mean really, before bubble bags, what was there, just dry sift, gumby hash, and semi-toxic chemical extraction? Who in their right mind would just give away years of research, when there is a buck to be made? You don't see people on the corner handing out super elite clones do you? Some people can't seem to understand that other peoples time and risks are actually worth something. I'm sure that all the good green that was used in testing out this process wasn't all wasted, but I am sure that it took a ton of it just to get the process this refined. Sorry to go on like this but to hear people complain about "trade secrets" really bothers. Do you guys go on like this at KFC because you can't get your chicken at home to taste as good?

PS-That is some bad ass hash man, good job on the pics, and I can't wait til I can make the same quality at home-oh yeah-tell Skunkman that he needs to hurry up and get it to market j/k

A cardboard box and an 80 mesh brass screen can get you close, I'm not sure why, it kinda blew my mind, but I saw my kif ROLL yesterday, the shack micro revealed very few impurities, you had to look hard to spot any stalks amongst the clear marbles. And it melted up real nice, not FMCD, but very melty for sure.

I know this sounds like total bullshit, but it was pure accident. I just dumped some dry crystally trim out of a shoebox and was tapping the last bits of leaf into the tin when I saw a nice groove of kif forming in the corner of the box. I dumped this last bit through my 80 mesh skuff box and there it was, the purest kif I'd ever seen (in person, not quite like sams, but close). I think the fiberous texture of the cardboard must have grabbed the stalks while letting the heads roll on down, I will attempt to re-create this process intentionally in the near future.

But what do yall think of a texture based separation method--fuzzy enough to catch stalks but smooth enough to let heads roll.

And sorry, I have neither the skill nor the equipment to photograph this stuff, but I will totally make a tutorial if I can make it work.

And you are all entitled to call me a liar until I can make a repeatable tutorial, I understand.

Edit: I went back and looked at the box, I scraped the dusty residue off the sides of the box, and sure enough, almost all stalks with very few heads at all.

It might help to freeze the plant matter before you screen it Tony Danza. Looking forward to your results..

Un...Fucking...Real. (excuse my french)

If Sam is working on a patent, he better hurry, cuz now that people know it can be done, it's only a matter of time till there's a sticky in this forum where people can post shots of their supersecretmicrostaticbinocularchicken-hash.

I love that word at the end of this well put statement!

Hello all,
I have been trying to figure a way to automate the dry sift extraction so I could sell a patented machine for a few hundred bucks that would allow anyone to make dry sift hash of the same quality. All you need is a great clone for the resin, and my secret method, as long as you don't care if the yields are 1%, you could use all the 99% trash and reprocess it for water hash or oil.
I don't use cold or any water to make dry sift....
For all of you whiners that say we are all one community, I see you smoking strains developed by me, making seeds or clones of my varieties to sell for your profit, making waterhash using a method first made public by me, I ask you all why don't you give away herb, resin, seeds, clones for free? We are all one big community, yes?
To those of you who do give freely, great, I have done the same for most of my life and am happy I did so even if some in the "community" was rather greedy with some of my gifts.
Lets all hope I can find a way to share a device that does the work, then I will be happy that everyone could make the highest quality dry sift in the world.
-SamS
PS el capitan,
I have been making this dry sift hash for 20+ years, and no one has come close, if they can they deserve a lot of credit, it took me years to come up with how to do it.
BTW I made the discovery in West Africa trying to clean up some lousy African herb resin so it could be smoked, the resin when cleaned up did FMCD and I knew I was on to something.... Which was good for me because the herb was piss-poor un-smokeable, for me. Its a great method where bud is cheap, because then the finished product super clean dry sift, is still cheap as hell.

I knew you would chime in Sam.

Keep it affordable k?

Oh and I would rather have RKS than a hash machine. :)

EDIT... To those of you who are trying to dish out neg rep on me because of the debate between me and Bubbleman. First off, I gave Bubbleman +rep even though we were in disagreement. Furthermore, we took our debate to PMs according to TOU and things were resolved there. Bubbleman and I are square and friendly. Anybody else trying to add their 2 penies via the scale, watch your step. That is a two way street. I have never dished out neg rep to anybody, but today was the first. I feel like I killed a frog or something now. But life goes on and All I have to say to the haters..... FUCKEM!

"as long as you don't care if the yields are 1%, you could use all the 99% trash and reprocess it for water hash or oil"

is that 1% of the available resin on the material..or..1% of the plant material's starting weight?

and with this secret method, is it possible to re-work material again, yielding 1% more each "run" or is this method only good for just one 1% run?

Happy Hashing

a question, if i may.

a question, if i may.

i am no way near the scale of you guys, but i do have a tumbler...

i have found that bone dry ground up material gives me more/better end product.

all the directions i have seen for tumblers and bags tell us to use fresh/frozen trim.

i am sticking with what works best for me, but what do you use to get the best result?

thank you.:2cents:

Is Africa a hint?? you trained tiny Dung Beetle babies to separate out each resin head? pretty damn sure that's it...
