The Congo came up 5/5, one is the most well developed of all the seedlings. 3/4 of the nepjam's are now plants, they have really thick stems! The BangiHaze didnt grow, so i dropped 4 more. :D

Two of the Congo either didnt like the soil, or i damaged their roots when moving from the tray to the pot...they havent opened up yet, so i guess they arent gonna pick up...5/5 germinated so i cant complain, i will be buying another pack though as they are probably some of the best seeds around at the moment. :D

Its down to 3 nepjams n 3 Congo, hope the male/female ratio works out well..hehe...:yeahthats

The Bangi's havent popped yet, but im sure they will.

From my first pack of bangis out of 7 plants only two germinated. i killed one of them accidentally while looking why the fuck they need so long. from 4 other seeds plantet parallel all germed quickly.
now i have 4 more bangis from a different pack and they are sprouting well.
3 are already up, as well as 1 from two caribe and all 3 blueberries.
hope your bangis make it. i think my night temps were too cold for them...

Welcome vod,

Yes, warm uniform temps (between 25-30ºC) are recommended to germinate african dominant genetics. We also recommend to check descending moon cycle for healthier and more vigorous germinations.

Vod, thanks man...hope you have good luck with your B.haze, Caribe n B.berry.:D...maybe get a heat mat to cover for those cool nights.:yes:

Dubi, the moon has just shifted and now mercury meets mars apparantly...the RoyalDane, Leb27 and GGxDP all germinated, 4/4 GGxDP and 14/16 on both the leb n dane...the bangi's are still seeds, one has broken the surface though so thats 1 of 8 BH dropped in the last couple of weeks that has cracked....i think the temps are good as the propagator is above a radiator, n that is on most of the day/night..

I think sowing by the moons phases only adds benefit outdoors or under natural light, as the seeds i sprouted a couple of weeks ago all germed and grew well..:chin:...now they are under 48w's of purple CFL, the pagan farmers didnt have artificial lighting.:joint:

I must say that the nepjam and congo produce vigourous specimens, i simply cannot wait to see them growing at full speed.:lurk:

2 of the B.haze have sprouted, now in they're own pots in the propagator!:woohoo:

The cold night problem was on the previous round of germination. My flat is damn cold at night -> 13 degrees min.
This time around I'm germinating in the cab under lights (on the whole night) and have temps 23-29 degrees and it worked well. Just one Caribe and one Bangi still didn't germ. I had a look today and they got a bit deep into the pot. I took them to the surface and will give them some more time.

Dubi, you mean waning moon I suppose?
That would fit my schedule as I'll start germinating seeds for outdoors second half of the month. I have 5 Bangi Haze x Purpurea Ticinensis from Esbe and betting on Bangis mold resistance this season.

BeAn good new on the sprouts. Hope the rest will catch up.

Good day vod,

waning/waxing moon is related to sun light reflection on moon, but ascending/descending cycle means the angle that moon describes in the sky, sometimes is ascending (each day describes a higher angle) or descending.

Ascending/descending moon cycle affect water in live, like it happens with sea tide. Live, plants, humans have a high rate of water so that cycle is very important. For seed germination, repot and soil preparation then work in a descending day, preferable on a 'flower day'. Id' recommend you to read a bio dynamic calendar for any doubt.
