Whats the big deal about cheese?

Okay I've been hearing aaallloooooot about it, can someone explain what the big deal is with this strain. Every couple years something interesting comes along blueberry, c99, lowrider, ect but I don't know much about Cheese just been seeing a ton of interest so I'm curious.

Cheese is simply a renamed good skunk from the 80s. It stinks a lot, that's its 'deal'. Very dense long lasting terpenes, relaxed effect. Good weed for evening but i dont like smoke it twice in the same day, it saturates me.

Yeah Dubi is right - really good night time/late evening smoke as the high is quite heavy,
stinks strong when flowering (too strong at times), especially when fed on low level nutes, the aroma it puts out is actually quite disgusting to tell you the truth, not a pleasant smell at all, but the flavour and aroma when smoking is really nice

I've found the clone only uk cheese to have a strong dank rotten fruitiness to it,which i find quite pleasant,alot more sativa then the skunks that are sold today.

i grew the GHS cheese twice, even though i know its not real deal chz, BUT it was very good, stinky and anyone who smoked it said wtf is that...? thats the cheez bitch
very stinky. clean strong high, SMOOTH on exhale, alittle harsh on inhale. i did notice there were different phenos. i had skunky ones, cheezy shit smell ones and crappy airy not too smell ones. the ones that stunk like skunk were sweet. wish i cloned the skunky ones.

defo a Sativa Sk1......loads of Blue type smells all 100% weedy, some Hash smell,some frematation smells,,,,

buds purple/dark green sometimes,,,

but with most Cheese crops, buds have a NEON green colour

the old boys are quite happy to call it a good strong Skunk smell

if ya cant get get hold of the clone i highly recommend getting toe jam (cheese x flo)....stinky stuff...has real strong parmesan cheese smell...dont touch it or you in for a stink fest.HH. =]-~

So it doesn't smell like cheese its a skunk. Reminds me of something I was smoking around 2002. It was such smelly ass skunk that on a Friday when I got home from work I smoked in my car. Monday when I had to go back to work the SMELL was still there. I had to go to the local store and I had to saturate the inside of my civic at the time with some of that orange smell air freshner crap.

Yeah man it foxtails the last few weeks, it's supposed to not foxtail too much when growing in soil but it did for me the last run, i can see it starting to happen already, buds are bright neon green,
about the purple i never noticed it on my first run with the Cheese, but the 2nd run on my last grow it did, not the leaves - the tips of the calyxs - purple worked it's way down the calyxs

my cheese 2 cents....

My experience with the cheese has been with seeds from big buddha, not the elite clone from the UK. It smelled something like sweaty gym socks with a hint of maple syrup, if you can imagine. Odor control is critical because everybody in the neighborhood will know whats going on if you grow this shit! After I first harvested and cured the stuff for about a month or so, I remember trying to discreetly smoke a blunt with my pal in the parking lot before entering the club. I though we did a pretty good job until we entered the club and approached the bar. Somebody shouted 'damn, someone has some dank-ass shit!' and many other patrons made similar comments as well. We tried to play it off and order drinks, but the smell just permeated our clothes and wafted throughout the entire joint. I was hearing stuff like that for almost 45 min. after taking a few puffs from a blunt outside! This weed is NOT for the discreet!
