Welcome ultrastealthgro! Keep them babies green and come back often...

Nice colas, Brother Bear (as always)...

Good to see ya, jip!

Peace, everyone...

Thanks for the welcome everybody, nice to know I'm not the only one around here farmin'! These little AF's are really hardy, I somehow ripped off both first sets of leaves on one of the little AK's leaving nothing but a little stem(sad day) but somehow she sprouted a new set of leaves and seams to be doing great today. Interesting to see how the three different strains are so different already. Has anyone tried any AF's outdoors around here? If so, how did you make out?

Hey all, I was just checking my "My IC" thing and saw some of you guys left me some rep points! Thank you very much! It doesn't tell me who left what but someone asked "if I liked my cfl's and have I used anything else?". This is my first indoor grow and yes, so far I'm very happy with my cfl's! As of tonight I have 4 23watt 2700k, 4 27watt cool white 6500K? and 2 23watt 3500k cfl's. As my plants get taller, I just raise my main reflector and add more side cfl's as needed. Works for me, hope that helps!

Just my 2 cents ultrastealthgro, but don't buy any more CLF's. Save up a few bucks and invest in an HPS. Preferably 250 or larger (depending on your needs). You wont regret it. Keep your clf's for veg (for now)
Glad to hear you're appreciating all the K+
Stay safe yo & :smoweed:

That was my original intention vintner but I'm kind of afraid of heat build up with an HPS or MH? I have a 6" inline fan pulling air out of the top of my little cab(WAAAAAAAAAAY overkill) but it's running at about 50% thanks to a variac which is keeping the sound way down too. Although with the 10 cfl's I'm already around 250 watts so my hope of keeping my electric bill down by using cfl's has gone to hell. "The Boss" forbid me from spending anymore $$$$ on this round but I would really like to try some high intensity lighting the next time around I'm just deathly afraid of the heat in my little cab? Total hight of the inside of my cab is about just under three feet, could a 250 cover that nicely? Would be nice to only have to worry about one light. Do we have any grow shops in SE Pa or Philly? Thanks again Vintner!

I just love this place. William's Wonders? Never even heard of it. But I can look it up now!

Yeah, I'm a dork. But that's mainly because I'm such a relative newcomer to weed in general (in spite of being 30-something).:

I guess I just want to say thank you to everyone who posts their grows here. It helps a guy like me get to know what's out there... So thanks, guys. K+ to you all.

Great plants btw, freedominphilly.

Freedom- man those are beatiful....then again everything I have seen from you is top shelf.....Any pointers on how you got the density to em

Ultra- I totally agree with Vitner. I tried all the cfl 's trying to save money, but the only thing I use em for is to maintain clones and seedlings. I switched over to a 400 HPS and am ordering a MH conversion. The whole set up sosts me about 70 dollars a month and that is runnin 400 hps, 4 24 inch fluros 27 watt, air pump (dwc bucket) 4 inch inline fan and a regular tower house fan. The only problem is that in this coomonwealth the electric rate caps are coming off at the end of the year.....

QUESTION for all......

My light schedule is 9 am to 9 pm right now, the other night I woke up around 2 am to find my light and fan running....apparently somehow (I believe my kid) the timer slot in one spot was switched. It's been like that for 3 weeks and I just caught it....how will it affect my plants. So far I think I notice extended whispy growth from the colas and some seem more advanced maybe even ripe.....i will post pics and please let me know wat you guys think...

by the way Ultra it was me that posted thatn? about past lighting

keep the kid away from the timer LOL
my daughter used to rip leaves up in my grow
at first i thought it was bugs eating them LOL

she has been cut off from my grow for a year now almost
about to do the same for my baby son when he starts to talk abit

hopefully no nanners appear, all you can do is keep the light cycle correct now and hope for the best

Yep those are single bladed reveg leaves. Get them back on schedule and scour them daily for nut sax. Hope it turns out okay for ya...

MAn you guys neither one of those responses brought a smile.... I hope I caught it in time..How long will they take for the hormones to switch back again? :moon:

Thanks for the response pthway4, my biggest obstacle keeping me from grabbing an HPS or MH is heat, my cab is only about 11 sq ft and air/light proof. That and my "boss" has forbid me from spending any more $$$$ on this run. Wish I knew more about growing to help you with your problem, hope it gets better soon though. I keep my locked cab in a spare bedroom and put a lock on the bedroom door so my little ones couldn't get near it, my youngest one nicknamed "The Destroyer" would destroy my little set up for sure if he could. Do you have a way of keeping the kids out? Hope someone here has an answer to your problem, Thanks again!

Hey weldflash

Hey weldflash

How long do you think it will take to get back on track....? and will the other buds overrippen? Thanks for your help with this one....

I'm not sure Pthway4 as I've never revegged a plant in the middle of flower. Stressful? It is and very much so on the plant. So don't be suprised if she does pop some nanners. I've seen people use light manipulation to self plants, already, tryin to produce femmed beans. And they got the beans ripened enough to be viable. This makes me think that you'll be able to get her turned around enough to finish. As for other nugs being over rippened I couldnt tell ya. I'd check the trichs and see what theyre saying, and if theyre amber enough or even milky enough I'd take them. Have you started doing a flush yet on them? Hope this stoned rambling helps ya out some. Peace and shine on.

weldflash...i plan on starting the flush today..but when i look back. they have only been fowering 5 weeks, do you think the stress could have aged them?

W

WeldFlash420

Most def. I'd give them a good weeks flushing and see what happens to the trichs in that time. This very same thing your going through is what caused me to go buy a digital timer from Home depot for $20. Way more reliable imho...And if they've only been flowering for five weeks I'd prolly wait it out the rest of the other three to four weeks just to see how they respond to being back into 12/12. You may even be looking at a longer flowering period due to the mix up, it'll take a little while for her to bounce back into flowering. See she thought when the lights stayed on it was photosythesis time, the making of cholorophyl. "Greening up" to to speak and making leaves. Which stopped the flowering production or at least slowed it alot in the three week period that you had happen. So now she's gotta do the transition period back into flowering again. Be pateint and watch for nanners and seriously look into a digital timer. Theyre worth it... peace and shine on.
