Hey all! My first grow here at ic. Just got a little one started here.

grow medium: Readygro (moisture formula)

grow buckets: Walyworld cheapies

nutrients: GH expert

light: 400w MH, cheap reflector, homemade ballast

leafy things: 10 PPP(fem), 9 Sensi Star, 5 MIS(Gypsy Freebies)

Hey Connoisseur300 thanks for droppin by. I like the hydro better but my opinion my be based on the fact that my soil isnt automated so it's more work. but i seem to have better results with the ebb and flow

Drop the lamps down to within a few inches to prevent stretch. Seedlings were built to handle the Sun. They blow their nose on your puny 400. CFLs just make them laugh.

Looks like you're germming in some sort of cube. I handled stretch by rolling the stem around the cube and replanting. Growth stalls for a week or so as new roots sprout towards the surface.

that's a great idea to wrap around the stem, i always have stretch from the seeds.

havnt posted on this forever! moved most everything to my ebb and flow. the middle row is crappy. just runts in all them. o well.

just did me some shoppin/upgrading. ordered a couple vortex 6 inchers. 6 in carbonaire filter and an xtrasun 6in hood. think that is enough $$$$$ spending for a little while

lol I was about to ask how old they were now under that screen and how full you were going for before the flip... but if its shit talk you want.. I'm thinking about crossing some White Widow with some Chem Dog with some MNS Shit and calling it "White Dog Shit".. catchy eh?


edit - the last bit isnt actually true, but I'd still like to hear about your scrog plans :smile:

oh and now ive actually got 2200 watts going in veg and a couple more strains. PPP, MIS, Sensi Star, Blue Cheese, and Opium :smoweed:

hey JamieShoes! White Dog Shit!!! I'm down with that. reminds me of the movie Step Brothers! "I will not eat the white dog poop"

That was the easy part to answer. About the age of my boys and girls. some are like a month, some 3 weeks. a couple are a little over a month. i didnt really get along to well with the ReadyGro... not sure what i was doing wrong. i've used miracle grow before and had no problems. did everything i could with it and plans looked like white dog shit. now i put most everything into my ebb and flow buckets. so it did take them a while to adjust to the move. they seem happy now except for the middle row which are not going to do shit i dont think. i think i will let them fill up for maybe another week, mayble a little less. the opium and sensi star dont seem to grow as fast as the ppp. i guess thats what i get for putting different strains in the same hydro system. oh well, i'm just looking for a good mother from all the strains anyway.

sounds like quite the ride :smile: I have some power plant clones vegging right now, they're bought clones so I've no idea how old they are either - they're also going under a screen when they get to about 7 inches or so - I was told to expect a x2 stretch on them too btw, although how that works under a screen I don't know..I guess we'll both find out soon enough eh? I'm hoping to flip mine in around a weeks time (all being well)

good to know on the stretch... i wish i knew of someone or some place to get good clones so i wouldnt have to search for the phenotype i want. midwest is probably not the best area for such things though. i dont personally know anyone else that grows. i know they are out there though lol
