Thieving shake down cop gets mandatory minimum 275 YEARS!!!

Yeah mandatory minimums do suck but, in this case I think he got the sentence deserved.
Like others said he was entrusted, wanted all the respect and authority that came with it, and then took a big dump on it so he and his buddies could get fat.

I think it ought to be law that LEO get mandatory double what a citizen would get for violating public trust.

So true... there should be a charge for this like conspiracy is a charge used alot with drugs... well if an officer does something like this he can get another charge called "compromising public trust and safety" or something.

pretty sure this happened to my buddy months back..pulled over on a state road after cutting off a dude in a white untagged expedition..he lights him up ,red and blues in the front window,he pulls over
its a black dude ,out of uniform...details aside, he didn't get ticketed, just gave him a 'warning' ...smashed his pipe on the ground ,and took his bag.
wasn't with him at the time ,sounded sketch to me though

Cops rob guys every day where I'm from. If your names is popping they'll take your shit and tell you, your under investigation. Then you never see or here from them again. Have you all paraniod thinking your being watched. Loco yocos out for the cash took 50K from a buddy, two 9's and 5lbs. Told him to come up with some names. He told them his lawyers name, they said we're not bustin you but we'll see you in a few months. Frickin coachroches.

this is great news, more cops should get life, specially those busting people for growing a little head-stash.

where I live, cops rob people ALL the time, it is ridiculous, cops are more dangerous than criminals here... not long ago, a buddy of mine was taking a girl home who happened to live in the other side of the city, so he rolled himself a j so he could enjoy his ride back home alone, on his way back, the police had set up a check-point on the road right after a turn, so you could not see it comming, this guy got caught with the j on his mouth lol, well, to make a long story short, the cops made a deal with him, to pay them half minimun wage each month for 4 months to both the pigs, this guy said ok because he could not afford get sent to jail and then rehab (as prescribed by national law if you are caught with less of 20grams) because he was expecting a baby.

other stories are that in known neighborhoods were drugs are sold, the police will wait for people they consider to have been buying at the exits of the hood, and take whatever drugs they buy plus any money people are carrying, these places are called "cooking pots".

the police is just one more organize crime cartel, with the exception they can legally kill you and also they can send the competition to jail.

police is a joke.

In the us, most pigs won't accept money. In some 3rd world countries, I have thanked them for accepting money, its better than going to jail. I try to be as respectful as possible and make them friends and even get their names for future help. Most pigs in 3rd world countries have "word" and go by what they say and if they don't, you know how it goes. They are people like you and I. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. :wink:

I don't know about you, but I am surely not like a cop, and I don't want to keep any cop closer than I keep my friends, but thanks for the advice anyway.

I don't go around persecuting and jailing people because they use cannabis, I don't rob people abusing a position of power; cops do that, not I, and hence I am not even one tiny bit like them.

I stay out of sight, and thus out of mind, works like a charm. better than keeping bacon around, it would not be ital

Yeah, they do rob. Fucking pigs!Even I get pissed. But you got to know how to work the system. Thats the only way to beat it, infiltrating it.

I too stay out of site but sometimes I just want to spark a J in the park or at the beach and just have gotten caught. I appreciate the fact that sometimes, they give my stash back and even my gzza and they leave with a handshake and a smile on their face. Now thats what its all about.
