It also helps to be a bit of a recluse or a loner. Having no friends helps, too. Or friends that understand your need for privacy and are willing to just have lunch with you at a restaurant if you have the need to socialize. Having too many friends and people coming and going brings too many prying eyes and questions. My wife and kids know that my shed is my private 'clubhouse/playhouse' and NO ONE is allowed in. It's been that way for years. I established that rule before growing. And a tall wood fence keeps dumbass kids out of my yard. My backyard in general looks like shit so no one really cares to hang out back there anyway.

funny you should ask such a thing....i had a dream last nite that i told my brother that i grow...because he asked about a fan noise when he was in my master bathroom. dreams are so faaaked...like my brother would have any reason to be in my master bathroom! we aren't what i call close....meaning, we get along fine, but we're not friends. we don't share. plus he is one of those brainwashed law abiding citizens...that just wouldn't understand.
in the dream i regretted it as soon as it left my lips....and i was like...you can never tell a soul dude...i would lose my life! especially don't tell your wife...(who pals around the chief of police's wife.) i was totally twisted in this dream! i was so relieved to wake up and know my secret was still safe.
but i did have another incident where my house was getting appraised....the appraiser needed to tour the whole house. right when she got there i shut off all the power to the attic so she wouldn't hear any fans or heater. luckily she didn't even see the door to the attic or ask about it. of course its locked and i would just explain that my husband had the key.

well, let me put it to you this way. the only people that are going to be in this room are girls i fuck around with, to put it bluntly. nobody is ever in this room aside from them, and most of the time we're fucking so some random noise being made in some tent isn't exactly at the top of their minds ;)

but at any rate, stealth is key and i understand that. when i start, and finish, nobody will know...

if any questions arise as to what the noise is (which, people coming up the steps to the 3rd level (remodeled attic) may hear something OUTSIDE of the room itself, which will be locked at all times, and any questions i'll answer and say it's an air purifier or some stupid bullshit like that.

exhaust must be on 24/7, correct?

Sorry, but you are full of shit-- There is no such law about growing if you rent---

If a landlord doesn't want you to grow at his residence (the one he is leasing to you) then that objection superceeds your right to grow under 215.

you are so wrong, there is ABSOLUETLY no caveat about having to grow on your own property. That's just BAD info BD, really bad info.......

Before you go spouting off with misinformation that might actually have somebody tear down a current LEGAL grow just try looking up the info first.

Yeah um I've read 215 before, sb420 too.

A landlord can claim that under fed law your are risking his property to asset forfeiture and therefore his objection to you growing there superceeds your rights under the state.

This is exactly the tactic the dea used when it sent out letters to dispensary landlords (informing them of this) and not only was it legal but also successful.

You are just trying to put the 2 together--
The DEA letters were for Dispensaries...there has never been a letter sent to a private residence for growing...if I am wrong, pls show me--
The "Law" you are trying so ineffectually to quote, is simply a clause that all Rental Agreements have, that say you break no Laws....and since growing is breaking Fed Law, they can use that clause--
But unless you are being stupid about it, it should never be an issue--
I'm lucky, my Landlord is a friend...tho they don't support it, they respect my 215 Rights--
