ok gang, who has the best skunk#1 in seed form??..I see TFD PURE..but sensi has taken over and from reports i have read it seems not so pure any more, if you were to buy skunk #1..who would you go with??..thanks..

Got a SK1, Flying Dutchman feminized, about 3 weeks from harvest and it looks and grows a lot like my old friend from years ago (kept her going for several years). I have a lot of hope, 'cuz the old girl was just wonderful.
I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but I think the potential is there.

you should have lightly sanded them ,,,+ if they are real old SK1 , it might have been an idea to add a germ stim,,,or shell softener

TFD's the pure , Sensi Seeds Sensi Skunk , BB Cheese [ which has just a tad bit more ghani in it , but its still a sk#1 ]

just put em in rockwool or any other starter plug and you should be fine ... , just give em their time

I mentioned this happening to me, also with Seedsman seed, in another thread. I tried all the tricks, and I have done this for 25 years now this spring, so I feel very comfortable that they were DOA from the vendor.

Those seeds are just too old. None of mine popped in the free pack I got a year ago. Shame because that used to be the highly-neato freebie people would get a few years back, would growing some mighty strong plants.

I've read somewhere Seedsmans skunk#1 should be a lot like TFD Pure. Why should Sensi have changed the Pure?

also sam the skunkman bred the original skunk then brought it to europe and apparently shared the original genetics with the flying dutchman......the pure is probably very close to the original skunk from back in the 70's-80's..............

i've just finished a couple of runs with Sensi's #1-and after reading the boards assumed that it would be a bit mediocre and shit. It wasn't. It can't have changed THAT much over the years because i grew out the real Exodus Cheese cut a few years ago and the #1 is similar in many ways.

It is the most robust strain i've ever grown-v dank-and really quite impressive-as long as it gets the full 10 weeks.

The hit is the near to the Exodus Cheese as well-unlike the other cheese hacks that i've tried which are all far more sleepy indica than the real cheese.
