Considering that most of the people on this site are considered criminals in multiple countries you guys seem like a bunch of pussies preaching karma about something that you would be to lazy and to scarred to do. There's a HUGE difference between a "criminal" whose behavior directly harms nobody (a cannabis lover), and a criminal whose actions inflict direct harm (such as a thief). It speaks volumes that you can't tell the difference.

Thanks guys,
I decided on split bamboo for the supports.
I want to make it where one end is secured to the wood end cap, and the other is a snug fit. I think at the max speed (only speed) of 6rpm I might be able to keep the buds in (attempt at humor).


The way it slipps into the 'roaster' keeps the end caps tight.
Maybe this weekend I'll get the proto built.

Recently my rotisserie similar to yours broke anyways, got bored attached some panty hose double layered over cardboard end pieces. Ended up getting fmcd out of it!! make sure to disable and maybe even remove heating elements though! Fun times ahead!

You can build a small one out of a rock tumbler, and you can find those at resale shops for a buck or two. Nice project.

I seen the same exact thing done before a few years back. it worked, but im my opinion the motor turns the drum too slow. instead of a slight tumble, the model i seen made the trim do more of a sliding action. yield was decent and the resin was pretty pure. we adapted the drum to be able to be turned by a 1/2 inch socket and when tumbled manually yield was much improved with not much more contaminants....hope this experience helps you

Installing a couple curved fins inside the drum might improve the sliding.

Sorry....I was too lazy to photoshop the pictures. Finally got off my ass!
Here we go......

I wrapped the wooden end plates (from Hobby Lobby) with the 125 micron SS mesh. It had been rolled up for a few years and had some seams bent into it evert 2 inches or so.
This works out pretty well in adding stiffness, and the mesh is not too floppy anyway. Therefore I left out any internal stiffiners.
The drum is pretty short anyway. All this let me just staple it around the "closed" end and I made the vertical seam with aluminium tape (Sorry...no pic of the seam).

Then at the "Open" end I folded the tape over the inside and outside for a shoehorn fit and wrapped a rubber band around it.







Now the heat switch issue.
The unit was pretty hard to get apart so I decided to make a mechanical heater lockout.
I used epoxy to glue a piece of plastic just the right size and composition into the void of the heat switch so it can't be accidently switched to heat!!!!!!!





I am due to cut some CaliO's and Jock Horrors in the next two weeks or so .....till that stuff dries, and the trim is dried good, It will just have to wait.

Yep, well not many of the C99xBlueBerry....just minor trim....the mom will reveg. But some of the CaliO and Jock Horror will when the trim is dry.

Due to an emergency trip during germ , (and drying out of 6 seeds) I only got 1 female out of a 10 pack!!!! I did get 3 males and used them to polenate a c99 skunky bitch!!!

These are CaliO and Jock Horror that are just a week or 2 away from sacrifice.

I really doubt I could alter this one.....but!!!! I have tons of motors and I just might make me a larger one in a rubbermaid . But I need to go back and buy some larger piece of SS mesh in the correct micron sizes for my stuff.
I am confident that with a correctly sized DC motor, (gear reduction for torque), and a good mechanical setup , this could be customized to run at any speed from 1RPM to whatever works at top end.

I also suspect having a larger diameter drum will increase the efficiency.

I guess what I am saying is if this one works pretty good, I will most likely make a bigger and better one for large quanities.

I just vaped some of the C99 X Blueberry...... can you tell how wasted I am!!! Fruit of thine own labor is Divine !

Great idea! This is one I missed when I had my "lost week" (don't ask).
I did not observe the sliding, but it sounds good and easy to me.
