medical marijuana and tysabri

Hey all! After a long struggle of wondering what was wrong with me, I have been recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. :violin: :frown:Under medical supervision, I've decided to take TYSBARI. I was wondering if anybody here is taking it (it is administered at an infusion center once a month) and smoking and/or vaporizing? If so, how often? I know MS affects everyone differently, but I would just like to get an idea of how folks are using this stuff. Has anyone took a break off weed after a few treatments and resumed later? I have the relapsing-remitting type and for the most part, pretty functional. I do get fatigued and I get some dull pain on my right side. Any input would be appreciated.

Haven't started the infusion yet. I also read that it was prescribed for Crohn's disease as well...going to see the Dr. in a few hours to get the treatment lined out.

Just had Tysabri infusion this week. Not a real bad process really...just hook you up to an IV, let it run for an hour, then stay for another hour after for observation. So far, no noticeable side effects. I heard it takes up to 3 infusions to notice anything, but MS affects everyone differently. Mine is not as severe as some, I can still move about pretty well, have some numbness in my arms are a little pain now and then, nothing a few puffs can't combat, but I'm feeling pretty good overall...

It seems like the tysabri kicked in after a few days after the infusion process. It's hard to describe, but I do notice a change in me. When my neurologist said that these are powerful drugs, she wasn't kidding. I read about the side effects (depression, fatigue, etc), but I really didn't feel those (maybe a little tired). All that I know is there is something different...I've been keeping a journal to describe my effects, but since this is my first infusion, I've got to give the drugs a chance. If anybody is interested, I can keep posting my tysabri effects or at least my observations.

I did take a bit of a toke of bubble hash...it does seem to help the uneasiness I felt, but that can be psychosomatic.

OK. Had Tysabri infusion this week (on St. Patty's day of all times). Felt pretty good afterwards and went on a decent walk. The next day, I felt pretty wiped out.

Today I feel pretty good. After the last infusion, I did fell something kinda 'kick in'. This time, I really don't notice anything, so perhaps I'm acclimating to the drug. I take a few tokes here and there....doesn't seem to adversely affect anything.
