A little growhouse in the arctic v2.0

Peat: :D thanks for the pics mate, that looks so warm and comfy. u sure no aligators in that water? hehe

deft: there is some smuggling from russia, mostly vodka (the best :D)and cigarettes. most of the drugs comes from oslo which is a dirty bad city imo. ive been halfway around the world and nowhere have i seen more junkies in the streets then in oslo. the russians are generally well liked, we have trading traditions that go way back.

You know, AS, I could imagine that your people have gotten much more accustomed to the winters and lack of light than the folks in alaska. They mostly are immigrant families from the US, and don't have the dozens of generations that you guys have been that far north!

Well, you do have excellent english, even if you consider yourself a cheat. There are many hispanics and jamaicans around here that have been here for decades who have an incredibly poor amount of knowledge of the language. Honestly!

All the best,
TG

Gnarly growlog, enjoyed roasting one and reading your thread :smoke:
Being from Alaska it is very interesting seeing the things we share...beautiful terrain, awesome skiing, excellent fishing, bright summers and dark winters, drug and alcohol use/abuse, and of course, dealing with oil companies and corrupt government officials :D

Have you done any outdoor grows during the summer? Ever try any auto-flowers under the midnight sun?

p.s. I'm fascinated with the jar bong you showed off in daddyhazes's thread, where did you find it? I've never seen one before, but it looks like it could hit like a dump truck.

hehe :D on that scandinavian map i can see where my home town is :D

yeah man the water in the sea here gets pretty warm.. but even hotter are the beach babes :D one of those reasons they invented sunglasses hehe

it is in fact a fortress - lots of them around here, from all ages. that one is a old military bastion or what ever its called, and its in private owner-ship i learnt when checking it up. talk about a nice setting for a summer house..

Peat - that looks nice and warm too :D humid maybe?

peace all :D

thatguy: maybe we are more acclimatized, atleast most of the worlds polar regions have norwegian names by norwegian explorers. the amundsen vs scott race to be the first man on the south pole is famous.
there are modern day competition races to the south pole these days, norwegian team won again :D
The Amundsen Omega 3 South Pole Race, to the far end of the earth, will be the first race to the South Pole since Scott and Amundsen’s historic race nearly 100 years ago. Roald Amundsen arrived on Dec. 1911, Robert Scott on Jan. 17 1912.
race.jpg
fter almost two weeks of intensive Polar Training in Antarctica coving approximately 100 nautical miles, teams of 3 will set off across the Antarctic Plateau to race 430 nautical miles across the largest ice cap in the world to the Geographic South Pole.
The racers will face constant challenges throughout their journey: surving in temperatures as low as -50C, navigating and skiing while pulling a 70Kg. pulk (sled), climbing up to 9300 ft. to the South Pole and through everything working together as a team.
The South Pole Race, to the far end of the earth, will be the first race to the South Pole since Scott and Amundsen’s historic race nearly 100 years ago. Roald Amundsen arrived on Dec. 1911, Robert Scott on Jan. 17 1912.
The Amundsen Omega 3 South Pole Race promises to be an awe-inspiring event. All competitors will receive extensive and first rate logistical, safety, media and administrational support provided by South Pole Race.
Amundsen Omega 3 South Pole Race is more than just a race. It is the journey of a lifetime. This is an opportunity to live your dreams and push beyond the limits of your imagination

.. is fkn cold atm, with the ventilation on, a 2000w heat fan running on max capacity will only hold the room at max 18degrees C.

hope it doesnt get colder now.

hey guys, nice to see some faces in here, thanks for poastin :D

maygem12: ty for the props friend :D for you, the midnight sun at the north cape of europe. click the link and you get to my summer truout fishing gallery. loads of pics from troutfishing in arctic scandinavia.

donchron: you caught me with my pants down mate, i really need to do more research on my strains. turns out, NOT a DR.chronic strain afterall! i shouldnt smoke so much when going on clone runs, ty for making me check it out :D

its not eva's monster from drchronic, its Monster from Eva's feminiced seeds :wallbash:

here ya go, link: http://www.evaseeds.com/index.php/english/Catalog/MONSTER.html
MONSTER
monster.jpg

Yield: High
Type : Indoor/Outdoor
Flowering Indoors: 65-70 days
Flowering Outdoors: Mid / end October

Cross between a south american hybrid and a G13. Aroma of wooden barrels and spices, hard and dry. High concentration of hairs, making it ideal for making your own hashish.Buds are thick and long, but not all compact.Basically has a sativa effect, very manageable. Easy to grow. Needs supporting during flowering because the weight causes the plant to bend easily.

a different picture of it (not my grow). Monster, Eva seeds.
different picture here, icmag grower: http://www.icmag.com/ic/group.php?do=picture&groupid=47&pictureid=10740

that should clear that issue up i spose hehe.

BlackRa1n: thanks for the show-up mate, its nirvana strains. i have a second pheno aswell. look at the leaves of it, it has quite a distinct leaf shape.

MrDurden: myman :D the strawberry smile, you guys got me AGAIN! ill stop relying on first hand information about my strains alltogether. turns out, NOT a danish strain as i have been told, but a strain from a UK seed company. and not a 7-8weeker, but a 9 weeker. my pheno looks to be very quick tho.

here ya goes:
Dutch Quality Seeds Feminised - Strawberry Smile

strawberry_feminised.jpg
A very productive plant of high value as a medicinal herb. Bred for its euphoric, anti-anxiety high, this mostly sativa (approx. 75% Sativa 25% Indica) produces a comfortable and enjoyable, yet powerful, experience. The plants have long branches, making this beauty a great plant for "sea of green" gardens. It's a very consistent Purple variety. The quality is in the experience, not so much in the yield, which is average.

Plant height: Medium - Indica 25%/Sativa 75%
THC level: 14-15%
Flowering Weeks: 9
Yield (Sea of Green on one m2): 200-300
Harvest Month: 3rd - 4th week of Oct.

sry guys this info should have been provided sooner, but im permanently stoned and lazy. just linking the pics is job enough for me haha. the dutchcannabisseeds homepage is under construction. a link to a company that sells their strains:
