Used to skate back in the 70's waiting for Skateboarder mag to come out...2 other buddies and me were the only "North" Dogtown boys...I read about Dogtown alot,so we tried to do all the tricks that came out every month. North Cal started to build Skate parks,Winchester,Campbell skate parks and then Santa Cruz followed..Knew the local boys Scott Foss,Steve Caballero,,Even had a skating session with Steve at the local Winchester pool. These guys went pro later.

Man those DogTown boys were kicking everyones butt in style, tricks.

Me and the boys used to lay on our backs and go down this church hill at 40 mph cuz it was too knarly to stand besides skating vertical and no money..Church Hill #1 and #2 was rad man...

It was funny when the class president walked by me while I had a Dogtown shirt on and said "What's a Dogtown?" sarcastically .I didnt hear anything he said but my buddy told me "you gotta kick his ass"

Haha.... Odd..Nothing happened after that.He got skeered :bat:

I used to skateboard a good bit. I never could do many tricks. I liked to cruise and do oldschool tricks. My favorite move was boneless because they just seemed easier than ollies.
I could also drop of some high ass ledges.

Thought I'd give this a bump from the grave to flush out the wood pushers. Been skating a shitload lately. My city has been getting parks left and right. They city even put in a free one.

Hadn't skated for four years except for rolling around here and there and not seriously for about six. I can still get down on a game of skate and take anybody deep into their bag and I'm upping my tranny skills really quick. Tranny is SOO much easier than street. It's more speed control and balance than street but it takes way less skill to really get down. BS flip disaster reverted this little three footer...pretty good for not skating for years and coming off a crazy injury.

Check this site out: www. skatevideosite. com You can watch a bunch of videos there. I'd highly recommend Transworld "And Now" if you want a glimpse into the future. All the parts are excellent. Richie Jackson and especially Sean Malto....i can't believe the kid is 16. He WILL BE the next Koston. It is clear as glass to me.

Can't wait til spring guys... Everytime I take a break I get better... Kinda weird how that works but only problem is I'm not as consistent. Don't take long to get over it though.

So what's your guy's all time favorite skate vid? If I had to choose it'd either be Flip Sorry or Zero New Blood... Kinda old yeah but I quit caring about the scene a long time ago... Skate street, yall...

I remember watching Kids in America, I think it was, when new school was just starting to take off and thinking damn dude, I could have went pro back then... Now people are doing like 720 kickflips down like 35982739548729358623 sets... Switch. Thank someone for Mullen though man, shit...

Dude is so tech it's insane. Said it before and I'll say it again, Mullen is the Godfather of skating as we know it. I'm sure you've seen the Daewon Vs Mullen right? Crazy shit man.

Watch "And Now" for the sake of all humanity! "Lakai "fully Flared" is a good one, too. It's a Spike Jonze joint.

Ritchie Jackson is SICK! He skates how i skate nowadays....a bit quirky and old school but original.

I used to skateboard all the time, then I broke my arm and just stopped. That poor board has been sitting in my garage for several years now, maybe I will have to bust it out after the snow melts, roll a few blunts, and just learn how to skate again.

And Now is pretty tits. Gravette is a beast and Trapasso is mellow as ever. Wasnt too stoked on Fully Flared though. Sure the tricks are mostly unreal, but I just dont enjoy watching it. I've seen it twice maybe, and usually I watch videos over and over.

Have you seen Static 3 and Inhabitants? Those are 2 newer ones I like to keep near my dvd player. Really does the trick in getting me stoked to go shred (though that's probably a bad thing. What with many feet of snow outisde and no indoor park near).

Inhabitants is sick as well. Silas Baxter-Neil is sick and Danny G's style so smooth.

Gotta go check out Static 3.

Please, give me vid recommendations. I've been out of the loop for a bit and love me a skate video.

I really liked Fully Flared the first time i saw it but it didn't really hold up the second/third time. Still is sick...
