i'm ok not in OZ but i have decided that it might be a good idea to start using one... i did some research but there seems to be different types of proxies and it just got confusing.

Is there on website that offers this service that most ICers use?

I assume it some sort of free ware that i install on my machine. Some people might laugh because i know so little about this subject, but its true and i'm not too bad with computers / technology in general.

O, and the whole fact that they are making information illegal is fuct.

I'm still able to get on, really strange though I havn't heard anything about this actually been activated yet on the news here in Oz. The last I heard it hadn't even been through parliament yet. Does anyone have any links to a news article or some kind of documentation stating that the filter has been activated..

whats really silly is they wont let u view the list of banned web sites ,,
they admit the internet which is pretty much crawling speed already compared to most of the rest of the world , will slow even further due to the filtering ..
this limits us to only viewing content they deem suitable ...
they also admit some innocent websites will also get caught up in the filtering , i guess thats just bad luck ...
i really dont want to pay an internet provider to censor me , though according to the article they all have no choice but to use it ..
so far using a proxy i can access here , but it drops out and some features dont seem to work ...

Certain types of guns were banned and you must be licenced and have a good reason to own a gun in Australia. Hand guns have always been banned as far as I know. I couldn't be happier with this. Australia is a much safer place due to the lack of gun ownership. I would hate to live in place where carrying a gun was normal.

Everybody hates America. Especially if you don't live here. What wonderful, love filled country are you from? I hate Antarticans, I call them bergs. I think they carry guns too! Wouldn't want to live there! But, they do have unrestricted internet access.
