I'm riding high now(pun intended) and playing my horn the whole way,warner is a pussy, but I called the cards months ago in this very thread and I'm taking the 7 points that go with them,They're gonna shock a lot of people.I hope hines ward gets a TD though....Good guy

The internal million dollar question is which Arizona Cardinal team is going to show-up in Tampa on Super Bowl Sunday?
Will it be the streaky Cardinals, champions of the mediocre NFC West, or the Arizona team that lost 4 of their last 6 regular season games by a combined score of 198-138?
It could be a very long day for Warner if the Steelers defense gets to him early, making him force the ball, and not allowing him to find a rhythm. They will shut Warner down worse then New England did in week 16 when he went 6-18, for an impressive 30 yards on the day.
I'm only able to see two ways the Cardinals can win the Super Bowl:
(1) They play their best game of the year and get some lucky breaks.
(2) The Steelers beat themselves.
And two old cliches come to mind when I think of the Cardinals winning this
game:
(1) "I would rather be lucky than good."
(2) "Thats why they call it gambling."

No disrespect, but I have always hated that saying. The Steelers won't be playing themself.
No offense taken. And your certainly entitled to hate whatever you wish. I dislike many things myself.
I'm not a fan of the Steelers or Cardinals, however, if the Steelers make many unforced mistakes that cost them the game, thats percisely what they will be doing.... beating themselves.

I think its a good saying. I agree that you gotta give credit to the D on an interception but you also have to blame the offense a lil. i think throwin a bonehead interception when your not even under much pressure may count as beating yourself.

Smell of pigskin everywhere....The parade is today and Tampa Bay will be celebrating Gasparilla and Super Bowl...
The weather is back to warm and the beaches are packed with fans from all over the country. Hooters will prolly run out of chicken wings soon.

Mad, Super Bowl week is alot of fun. You are lucky to be in the Tampa area this week.
The Super Bowl is a sensational event for any city to host, however, I personally feel that the Super Bowl should only be played in 4 locations: New Orleans, San Diego, Tampa, & Miami. Warm weather, logistics, and ambience, are vital for all of the week-long events & parties leading up to the game. And significant for a memorable overall Super Bowl experience.

Luckily we do get a lot of the Super Bowl here and we were in the World Series playoffs with the Rays also. Wish I had tickets to the game. Actually I am a Cowboys fan or my children would quit speaking to me,,,LOL
We are misplaced Texans lost in Florida per my late husband was a soldier...
BUT my heart still belongs to Texas.....but it is good economically for this area as tourism is down and Florida is hurtin'....my new man is from Baltimore and HATES the Cowboys.....Well nobody is perfect...
I bought my gransons tickets to the NFL Experience and they were thrilled

When I first Left Texas to live in Florida....it was a cultural HELL!!!!
Florida ain't the south..
I don't know what it is about this state...
The Cuban exiles pretty much run this state......don't get me wrong as the Cubano's are great asset to this country,,,But I don't speak spanish...English is the second language here....
Ricardo my son in law is Cubano and he loves this country and we love him...
More Puerto Ricans in Florida than Cubans surprisingly....
And the europeons and Canucks have fled ther countries for Florida by the droves...
My condo is mostly Polish...Ukranians....Bosnians...Canucks and I am a curiosity in my building as I am culturally from the "Country of Texas" as I told a neighbor who recently asked...
They think because you talk in a slow drawl.....that you ALSO think slow....LOL...
and I have an MSN!!!!!! LOL!
WTF makes these people think us southerners are dumb????
But I am proud to be Texan and nobody can ever take that away as we Texans historically are a proud bunch of folks and those that take the time to get to know us learn to love us like you do.....

Yes it was nice...went to a few events..I think snoop had his annual snoop bowl for kids...
I dont live in Tampa,Other side of the bay but am a die hard Tampa fan..
Can not wait till next year .I miss my football already..
Should try to get an ICmag Fantasy football league going next season...only need 12 teams..
If I see any interest I will look into it.Unless there is one already here...
