Which root/grow/bloom stimulators do you like?

I can't say that House & Garden is a bad product, but following directions, it makes the nutrient 3.8 pH.

That forced me to buy a bottle of pH up, something I don't usually keep around. I have not yet finished the run; it may be great.

But I am used to using FloraNova or Flora series, which requires no ph adjustment when used with RO water in my experience.

House and Garden may give me great results, but between the eleventeen bottles and still adjusting pH, I will be going back to GH flora series or FloraNova with no additives.

Luckily I managed to get two sets of free samples from H&G. I will finish the 2 liters each of the A & B nutrient this week, with 5 weeks to go. Lots of additives left over.

I am glad I didn't pay for all this. To finish it out, I may mimic the A&B with GH flora series, and still use the additives.

Just sharing experience. Some really dig all the bottles. I like it simple.

I use aqua flakes, and also end up at 3.8 with RO. I mix in about 25% tap water, and the pH is brought up to the desired range. Of course, tap water here is 666ppm.

Just my 200cents (or at least a long rabble...)

I start with pretty damn pure tap water (ec 0,0 - pH 6,7, O-1/2dH) (Water is almost so soft that you should consider it RO, but I have grown hydroponic MJ with GH Soft Water formula in it, so some Mg and Ca I guess there is in it...

Anyway, may point is regarding coco nutrient choice and pH:

My waters pH-equilibrium is extremely low, as in without any buffering capacity!

Canna A+B @ 0,5ml/liter make the pH drop to a decent 5,3. (Excellent for starting clones in that RW cube soak...)

4 Days after putting cuttings in the cubes I mix 4ml Rhizotonic in 1liter of tap-water. BAM pH hovers to a scaring 8,3-8,7!!! -But hell, it may reduce fungal mold growth on the little cuts sitting in a damp dome, so I spray with it as it is. A few days later I usually see roots forming under some of the cubes.)

Now I mix up a batch of 1ml A+B and add 2-4ml of Rhizotonic. (At this low EC the Rhizo is still making the solution too alkaline for root feeding so I add a drop or two of phosphoric acid (reduces pH to 5,5 and add elemental P for strong root formation.)

When roots are visible from all RW cubes the clones are transplanted to the flowering medium (coco slabs or pots) and the whole heap is watered down with the newly made solution.)
I only give water with Rhizotonic @ 2ml/Liter and which is pH-adjusted if the medium need any watering before I see roots out of the pots drainage holes or wait for new strong growth before I add A+B nutrients tothe feeding water (especially in slabs).

As the plant are taking and I startfeeding continously with run-off I add A+B from 1,0-2,5ml/Liter (ec 1,0-1,6) and at that strength the Rhizo and nutrients balance my res. so well I don't need to do anything but renew it every week.

PS! I feed to waste!!!

Canna Coco
Rhizotonic
Cannazym (or similar enzyme concoction)
-----------------
PK 13/14
Cannaboost/Bioboost
-----------------
Canna akTRIvator (Trichoderma Haraznium 3)

These are a very good option for easy mixing/use, spot-on EC according to calculator, pH-stable and stays in solution, long shelf life (nutrients allowed for sale 3years after date, BIO products 1 year after - but most will stay good for way longer as the whole date stamps are a new necessity forced upon the industry in EU)

House and Garden is by far the best ive tried so far. Im running the Bio-1 part with Multi, Roots, Bud XL and ALgen Extract. The Roots Excellerator is the real deal. It will make your roots Huge and fuzzy white in seriously a day or 2. I was recommended their products over canna and AN and i would recommend them to anyone who can get thier products.

I for one am a big fan of Liquid Karma. I just introduced it to my feeding 2 weeks ago and have had some amazing results.

from my experience and that's a year using coco i can say i like the HG nutes the best, i have run cannas line and advanced nutrients monkey juice with extras, and the HG line gets the most out of my girls. it can be hard to get from the local store so when it's around i buy alot, there roots excel is very popular for good reason. the bud XL and shooting powder are good to have also. i like the chart they give you for mixing, it has different schedules for 6,8,10,12wk flowering cycles, i use the six week plan and run plain water for 14 days then chop, this line makes my buds bigger than anything else iv'e tried and is cheaper than some others, me likey. jc
