Hey Gang,
Thought I'd show how fast my seeds have started by using LolaGals advice...These seeds have popped faster than any other seeds I have ever started...

This is the first time I have started seeds using this method...but it will always be my way from here on out...
My THUNK are usually tough to pop, not this time...
First time posting pics with the new format, so lets hope it looks ok...

Peace,
Treetops

Still waitin for my confirmation for F.U.C.K.E.M...

Hi, I recently used the moon phase to pop some beans and I was surprised how fast all the viable seeds came up as well. This works!

Well my seeds were all above ground within a few days, I planted on the last new moon, without soaking the seeds, just placed them in wet jiffy pellets.

I've read that not only the phase of the moon, but which moon also has an effect on the germination rates and times (IE Time of year). I would like to see a thorough study done over time on Cannabis germination rates in relation to the lunar and astrological cycles.

It works!

It works!

Thanks Treetops! Glad you are having success with this method. I find it helps a lot. I ordered some expensive beans and I wanted to give them EVERY chance. So far I've had 100% germination with this method to date.

I also have noted that whenever I see a post where someone is complaining that their seeds did not germinate, they ALWAYS have planted in a barren moon sign.

I also like to transplant in favorable signs, and if possible harvest in a favorable moon sign too. Sometimes that does not work out due to trichs, but I find it does help when used. The weed dries/cures a little better and a little is OK with me!

Hope to continue my Lunar Gardening Thread with some pics soon. Don't we have to have 50 posts to post pics here?

I think it has to do with the mysteries of the moon.....LOL.

Don't know exactly why it works, but it does. I have heard theories about electromagnetic force fields etc.

My grandfather taught it to me, and it works, so I'm just glad to have it. I have noticed when people post about seeds not germing they have planted in a barren moon sign.

Just another trick to get the most for your money!:woohoo:

Magnetic fields and electromagnetism??? Come on!

Wheres the study that shows it works?

The farmers almanacs always have a section for favorable moon dates near the back. I was looking at trying this out too. Glad to see others have done this with success. In the tobacco belt, old timers certainly used these methods. Don't see why it wouldn't work today

I'm not going to defend it. The entire earth is in a magnetic field. Why does the tide change due to the moon's gravitational pull? Do a search online and you will find study after study about it. I think there's one on the University of Ohio website.

I've had this discussion one too many times already, and I'm tired of pulling out all the proof for everybody. If you don't want to try it.......don't. If you want to try it I think you will be happy with the results. Just be sure and use the tropical zodiac as opposed to the Farmer's Almanac. I'm only trying to help, and as you can see from above posts, others do say it works also.

If this interests you, do the research yourself, it's easy to find. :canabis:

Is it really that hard to believe? The moon does many amazing things. I read this post shortly after popping my own seeds which just so happened to be on the new moon. I have never had such great success.

I've heard about this before, but it didn't get my attention.

My germination rate is around 50-75% so I'd be willing to stand on one foot to not lose the few that I have!

There are variances in gravity from location to location, its used in geology and finding resources. I really find it hard to believe but it couldent hurt unless you wait to do it and loose time I guess.

I'm well aware of how the moon and the sun and even other planets affect our tides, I watch the tide charts religiously during summer because I fish the sea and tide and light and weather conditions and water temp and salinity and all sorts of things have a big impact on catching more than you can carry and catching none.

Did you know that the sea level is affected by the centrifugal effect of the earth spining so that the oceans bulge slightly at the equator?

You cars alternator (and any generator for that matter) will put out a TON of EMF and so does anything with power running through it and most common metal objects will too.

When it comes to germing I think proper aeration, proper moisture, proper warmth/light are the keys and not much else matters. I don't put much stock in testimonials, but I can see how outside it could have an effect on plant growth.

Not attacking beliefs, I just don't buy it. Seems too much like faith and magic to me, and I can't help but question it.

Hey lolagirl!
Is there a chart for the auspicious days to germ? :joint:

Good planting days ahead!

Good planting days ahead!

Hey ya'll, There's some really good planting days coming up....

Today we are in Libra, semi-fruitful sign....

Sunday Moon enters Scorpio, fruitful sign and stays there until Tuesday afternoon. Moon is in the 4th quarter, which is not my fave phase, but if any one wants to germ some seeds these are pretty good days.

Of course Monday is best day of all these.

Some good HARVEST dates coming up Tuesday at 12:30 pm EST as the moon enters A barren sign Sagittarius and stays there until Friday at 1:18 AM EST.

4th quarter is the best time to harvest and a fire sign like Sagittarius is perfect. Of course check your trichs first! This allows the plants to dry and cure more easily.

I prefer planting in 3rd quarter for awesome rooting, but some can't always wait for perfect time

Have fun Gardening by The Moon!
