Yea Ive been hearing from a few diff friends about how there are now tissue culture kits are/are going to be available in grow stores soon. I'm really interested to hear any new information you heard about them. Is it true that your supposed to just be able to have a small snip of a plant and from that you will be able to grow a clone? Anyway interesting stuff thats for sure..

: What up all you crazy kids??Im a little late with the pics, but Im sure you guys can handle it??
Alright....the Mystery girl is thriving after a good feeding a few days ago...I have been out of my AN Mother Earth tea Grow and it has really affected the girls!!!They went like 3 weeks with out it and they all started to show Ndef. and not as vigorous as usual!!! So, I fed her some MEGrow & Bloom, Liquid Karma and some Maxicrop...after just 2 days, she has bushed out more and is showing frost already!!!! She has virtually NO stretch and is supposed to be a fast finisher!!!! I was told as soon as I start to see frost, she will get super sugary really fast!!!! We shall see....
All the Moms are doin great as well now after a good dose of Mother Earth and are ready to give me LOTS of cuts right now!!!Hint, hint.... you know who you are folks!!!!

OK, here we go...So i picked up a copy of some new gardening mag the other day at my Hydro shop and it had a very interesting article about cloning, Mother plants and Plant Tissue Culture...Personally, I have wondered about a better way to keep Moms around without having to use so much space...well, this might be it!!!!!

So basically it works like this...Youve got these little jars with a specially formulated gel made of sugars, carbs and grow hormones, all natural...You snipp a 3/4 inch growth tip off ur Mom and put the stem into the gel, little as it is, and after a few days, it will have grown roots and multiplied growth tips. Now you take all the new tips and put them into more jars to root and keep the original one in its gel...The small tips will continue to multiply producing up to thousands of clones every week if neeeded!!!! Now, I have to read up a little more on this practice, but it seems really fuckin cool...Supposedly the cuttings will stay healthy and green in the gel for weeks without any lite or refrigeration or anything...Think of all the energy and space we could save with something like this....It could also become the wave of the future for clone sharing na dselling at clubs!!!! Just picture a closet full of little test tubes, each with a prized genetic cutting in it, just waiting to be cloned over and over again!!!!
I think this is the shit and Im gonna be looking into it more for the future of my geneticstock...I could have hundreds of Mother plants in a little 2x2 space with no light needed!!! Sounds good to me!!!
So, let me know what u guys think about this and if any of you have ever tried it before...I will be talkin about this more in the future, so be ready!!!!!

nice update Z i hate when i run out of something and then bs about getting out and gettin it...we forget that by takin a factor out of the eqation,its like someone takin the protien out of our meat or veggies we wont be the same without all the shit we have become use to having in our diet ...
that thing you linked up is pretty slick bro,they was talkin about it in chat the other night.pretty "scientific"lookin to me,could be a nice way to keep genetics around that you dont feel like runnin for a while but also dont want to scrap...or for breeders that work with multiple strains at diferent times and need to store projects/parents...
i dont get the 8-10 week part,does it mean you have to wait that long for cuts you can use or what bro?i wish they had a video link so we could see it in action .

lol Zeus, it all happened tonight. I'm still playing with it, and it seems skip is still figuring out the bugs.
On the tissue culture thing, that explains my living keyring. I got it as a silly xmas pressie, got the pink gel in a sealed tube with a tiny, micro cactus inside. Its not doing much growth wise, and I have no idea how to repot it, but I guess its the same theory.

Hey GMT, sounds like the same thing dude...I kinda have somethin like that too, but its a sundew...a little plant in a plastic box in just a little peice of rockwool...stays alive just from the condensation in the box!!! Its some pretty kool stuff, gonna look more into it...maybe start a thread...Peace all
