Hey Virgin, thanks

The hashberries, dankety-dank it is. They were 12/12 from 6-inch seedlings and got repotted as they grew. Probably 10-11 weeks before I harvested them.
Do you mean Hashberry was 10-11 weeks start to finish or flowered for 10+ weeks?

More like 13 weeks start to finish but actual flowering was about 7-8 weeks from preflowers.

Do the preflowers come during veg or is that a week or two after 12/12 meaning up to 9 weeks flower? I really want Hashberry and will order when Mandala gets them back in distribution so trying to get a realistic expectation.

for simplicity i think normally flowering time is stated from when the switch is made to 12/12. so the example above should be like 9 weeks flowering.

the hashberry indeed seems nice :D

its got an easy remedy :D believe me - i speak from experience :D

just skip using any boosters and etc untill you learn to know a strain better. often a plant that doesnt get burnt actually yeilds more. its really not a good idea to think its beneficial to get nute burn. aim for as healthy plants as possible - it does pay off. you will in the long run see healthy plants yeild the best smoke and get higher yields. its all a question of ballance.

peace

You know Bone, sometimes I just don't like you at all :D:D

Yeah, boosters are out for now. Got one (1) plant that still looks healthy and that's my Cheese tree. They are all now on plain pH-ed water diet for a little while after the latest flush. If you remember, I also added a little bit of beneficial bacteria and also 2 drops/10L superthrive which hopefully will help balance out the root zone. As soon as I see some signs of hunger on all of them I will feed at 1,5 ml/l straight canna coco a+b without additives. Bone, I promise, no boosters.

Did the second part of my cheese lst bush harvest last night, very dense nugs of small-medium size, about twice as much as the first harvest. The extra week of maturing did them good, they looked to have a little bit of amber now so they should be very nice to smoke. The first batch makes a mess of me when I smoke it and is just starting to get it's cure on - so it's just going to get better :D

Oh, and Bone, the bugs seem to work fine, I've seen a good reduction of the number of adult gnats since I deployed the bugs. I'm going to get some more in a month and redeploy. Ha-ha I love these little biological warriors, it's like playing war.

Yeah, we'll see. Phew, I gotta pull that homemade tray of mine out today and put everything on the floor instad to get better air flow. The tray kind of shrinks the tent a lot. And it heats up too. I'm not looking forward to it, it's fucking heavy and dusty.

Speaking of bugs, I have some small (0,5mm) white critters that walk around on the bottom of the pots and also on the tray. Quite fast too but not springtails, they don't hop away when I put my finger in their eyes. Any ideas?

they are called soil-lice or blind springtails - they eat decomposing vegetal matter - like fotr example the coco it self.

letting the coco dry out a bit will reduce their numbers - but honestly i dont think they doo harm - rather they shit out some beneficial stuff :D

Ok... I've been busy the last few days...

I ripped the tray and everything else out of the tent, cleaned the tent with some bleach solution and hung a 200W envirolite blue spectrum vertically 20" from the bottom of the tent to help the 600W with whatever popcorn is left after I've trimmed the plants.

The swc experiment I was running deserved a better finish since the cheeses were doing so good under only 250W, they got promoted to the tent and a shitload more light.

Moved everything back into the tent, added a dehumidifier set at 35% to control that PM that has been popping up now and then.

Fed all of them today at pH 5.6 and with 1.5ml a, 1.5ml b per liter. Didn't check EC.

Did a new round of staking up branches on the ladies, damn this cheese has some weak branches and heavy buds, everything keeps falling over...

Pics of the jungle coming soon!

Well, time for the pics.

This is the Jungle. Far left and far right are the ones that are in late flower.
The others are like three-four weeks into 12/12. All Cheese except far right, Sensi Star.

This is the Sensi Star.. It's fattening up, slowly.

This is the Cheese that's farthest in flowering now. It's just starting to foxtail.

One of the young cheeses... Damn nice trichs :D

32326IMG_3422.jpg

Another one, also nice and sticky.. Looking forward to the big buds coming

No, not yet... I guess I could build something to do a run, what do you use? What did you think of the plants btw (on the previous page). Healthy or not?

i use an extractor made out of a tube of copper - and i use the back part of a clipper lighter stuck in one end of the tube as a gas entrance - the other end i just close up with a bit of screen and a zip tie after filling the tube up :D

ill take pics next run :d

the plants look good :D hehe bet ur in for some dank smoke :D

hehe peace!

Bone, time to post some pics of your bho gear, i wanna make my own :)

Today, I popped four Nirvana Papaya beans. I've heard it smells lovely, hoping for ladies and fat ladies at that.

Allrighty. Gloves are off. A tent full of Cheese and now 1200 watts of funky light. I hung an extra 600W vertically and basically put the plants along the edges of the tent. I rotate the plants every day to get even light coverage so no worries there. Now I'm just hoping for colder weather so I can get the temps down from 29-30 c to a more acceptable 25 or something.

have you tried adding more ventilation?

my bho equipment is very simple - one tripod, one clipper-lighter and one coppertube. not much more is needed besides the mesh or screen for the exit.. ill post pics of it some day.. there is pics in my gallery of it.. one occasion we made 3 bho tubes, and extraced 100 G of white widow in one go :D it was fun..

i want to see the vertical light thing :D we were just talking about it the other day.. just hang em from the roof and use some cheap ass round normal lamp shade for reflector.. anything white of sheetmetal should work well.. i bet there is a whole selection of usefull things on IKEA.. :D

have fun :D

yeah, i guess it is time for a bigger fan.. but then i gotta change filters and everything since it's 160mm instead of 125mm which everything i currently own is. so, plenty of $$ to change it...

if i could i would install a window ac but it's impossible here, even a portable one is too loud and i can only vent out through a window that doesn't open much

reflectors for vertical bulbs are those bulky umbrella looking things, they come in four parts that you screw together... i just hung this one naked like how the envirolite is in this picture... just had to try, it would finish the ladies very nicely with 1200 hps instead of 600 hps + 200 envirolite, don't you think?

man :D instead of putting in a bigger fan - use 2 small :D i personally think 2 small make less noise than one big :D

i wouldnt go over 125 mm fittings - its just too much big tubes etc :D but u can use double extraction :D just ad one more 125 mm extractor :D a bit of duct tape etc and its done :D and it shouldnt cost much more than 40 MAX euros with the ducting, an inline fan (best prices!) and a piece of cabel :D

check this 125 mm inline - they work great - i got a bunch of them :D

http://www.kayagrowshops.com/index....ufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1

i wouldnt buy a reflector for vertical mounting - there is a whole bunch of other options that would work likewise :D i got this traditicion of modyfying all reflectors to my spaces anyway :D so im used to McGyver'ish solucions :D any polished sheet metal with a bit of sanding down - work great as reflectors :D

in that space you will see some interesting changes i bet :D really i think the envirolite propably didnt doo much at all :D but now u got DOUBLE light intesity :D there will be noticeable changes :D

but i suspect without more extraction it will be quite messy to get good results with the 2 lights - since too much heat will work against the plan :D 30 degerees is hot if its the environmental temp of the grow - i mean close to the lights there couold be some heat stress going on.

check out that link up there - i think something like that would work great to get the temp down. _D anyway - we got the winter coming up :D you might be lucky and the temps go down anyway :D

have a smoky friday! :D

peace
