What do yall do in between grows??

Hey there Northern here !!! I am currently in the process of growing some PPP and Hashberry and i was wondering what everyone does when they run out of their last buds from the grow B4 ??

I am totally sick of all the Bull$hit surrounding finding some green in my area.... the people are shady the prices are outrageous and the security issues surrounding attracting unwanted attention to my grow force me to go without smoking.....

So i just wanted to start a thread basically wondering what kinds of things yall do to take your mind of getting high ....I do miss getting high so much its like part of me is missing .....
the only good part of this is that when my next grow is finished i will get SOOOOO high

So some of the things i do is obviously tend to my indoor garden and spend time reading posts on IC my other favorite thing to do is watch movies and play my 360 whats everyone else do when they are not smoking??

this thread is cool, but the honest answer from anyone is gonna be " any real grower doesn't run out of weed!!" lol

but i feel you though, there has to be something that one does to pass the time until at least the next harvest huh?

Honestly... id add another light everytime i ran out until I had an extra 2 or 3 lbs to help out the local medical patients

Hey northern, I haven't ran out in a while, like haps said, if ya run out.. your not growing enough.
i just started 1 plant into 12/12 { snowdog }, but have a few coming up behind her, and i'm low now, but, won't run out.

Ok wow great answers everyone ....is there a central theme going here ....

thing is smoke ALOT the only time i am not tokin up is while i am at work i am also a very generous person i love smoking my friends up...who likes to get stoned alone??? anyways i think ill just keep this thread up to pass the time ....

My current setup is a 4' by 8' cabinet with cfls there have been a few problems here and there outta my grows ( heat issues, over nutes ect. )the biggest hangup is my lack of second grow area to keep a mother (that would cut my wait time in half) so i will definitely not say i am the perfect grower but everything i know i learned from trial and error and also great forums like IC and others.

I am also doing this on a VERY limited budget as everyone who lives in america now probably understand COUGHFUCKINBUSHCOUGH but there is a light at the end of the tunnel ....
I am slowly building an attic growroom approx. 4ft by 20ft with 1 400watt and a rail lightmover ( Christmas gift) and that should more than provide me with enough great green to last between grows

So any great ideas please let me KNOW !!!

Obviously you need to plan ahead better. But I understand yield from a grow can be unpredictable, and entire grows can be lost unexpectedly.

For me, going without for a few weeks or months is not that big of a deal, as long as I know there is light, I mean smoke, at the end of the tunnel ...

Due to my situation (southern US, with an upstairs closet grow room), I try to grow 1 year supply in 1 winter grow. If I grow too much, I give some away. If I grow too little -- wait, that hasn't happened yet -- I guess I'd go without.

I have 3 lovely girls of 3 strains right now in about 2 weeks of flowering and enough stashed away to keep me happy until they are ripe -- I think .... Oh, and I have clones of all 3 girls vegging just in case something goes south. Yes, its all about planning ....

I'm just working towards being able to grow enough to not have to buy any more.

It's been slow 'cause the cash is low and going toward meds all the time. Definitely making progress though.

As soon as I have enough that I won't have to buy between harvests I'll be building my PL-L CFL flower cabs. A 6 month Haze cab, 1-plant indica cab and a general 60-70 day sativa cab. (General cab first of course to maintain med quantity)

It just takes time I guess. Personally I can't take that much time off without my meds. My life goes to hell so fast it's crazy. Fortunately I live in CA now and don't have toooo much of a security risk sourcing meds, as it were.

Good luck and just keep moving one step at a time. Read, Plan, gather materials, build, test, ENJOY!

Hydro your amazing i wish you all the luck i always feel greedy smoking my green when i know there are very ill people in my state (one not endorsing the med marijuana bills) and they really would benefit from cannabis vs. pharmaceuticals anyways you totally made me drool imagining your final setup thanks again !!!

It's been about a year since I had a harvest. Now that is a long time to wait. And to think I have 2 more months till anything will be dry. Hopefully Dec and Jan fly by and I'll have some smoke and even better some trim to make cookies with. Probably the best thing I like about growing is making butter. I am a cookie monster.

While CFLs make tasty buds, they won't make as many, or buds as large, as the 400 you'll be picking up. That should go a long way to curing your problem. However, your current space is too big for a 400. A 4x8 room asks for 1600 watts. I worry that the new space will return you to your old problem of too little light. With an eye on budget, I'd use the mover with a smaller garden in the smaller room

and a general 60-70 day sativa cab.

You've got a 60 day Sativa? My Destroyer supposedly flowers in a lightning fast 90 days. My Thunks in 140-160 days. What have you found?

yeah i do that exact same thing but damn bro, i hope you let that shit dry way out before you smoke it. that looks sopping wet w/butane. that must be a teflon bag or something.. i like using pyrex bowls or baking dishes so much. you can smear the oil around real thin and get it to dry golden blonde. i ended up leaving a tiny bit out in the bowl for a few weeks in the very back of my closet w/a paper towel covering. i scraped it up and it was this golden flaky goodness. i'm going to try and dry the whole next batch. ogk oil:

honestly though i really don't do too much between grows besides smoke, work in the garden, and get ready for the next harvest...

There could be a bit left but It's not even ready to be smoked. I just got done making it. I put it in the freezer when it's frozen it so much easier to Handel and place it where you want it to go.

nice i never tried putting it in the freezer. i normally let it set out for about 12 hours and work out any cloudy spots. ya might want to try to dry it first and then freeze it, i have a feeling you'll be happy with the results. i've noticed that when it's cloudy, it has a weird taste sometimes. but hey, to each their own, as long as you're happy and high, what else matters

I feel yer frustration dude couple thoughts come to mind....1 visit all those froends that u smoked up so many times before and get them to return the favour ...... besides that id make oil from any left over leaves n shit heck u can even get some great oil from iso in jars or even baggies that youve saved up (once got a couple nights good smokin amberish oil from about a doz oz bags id saved up)....work on plannin next grow n whatever else floats yer boat
