he's dealing and so spaced out, he "didn't know it was there"

there's no way they're going to allow him to walk
a VERY GOOD LAWYER is in store very quickly...bad ones are a dime a dozen

I'm sure they're softening him up by letting him sit in jail...this way, the bluffs work much better...kinda like Aldolph's meat tenderizer. They love it when there's no lawyer present when questioning...because a good one will tell when to answer..and when not to

i just looked up that on NORML. there has to be a limit where weight/penalties increase. anything over 28.5 can mean 2oz or 1000lbs. i think if 28.6 gives u 6 months he will definately get at least 1-3.

This is Frisco capital of the weed movement. He will get probation at most. Get paperwork showing why/how he got the cash and your script with a caregiver or two and you should be good. Find a lawyer.

Dood, you seriously think after finding 3 lbs and $4000 in the trunk, they're just gonna shrug their shoulders, slap his wrists, give him 20 hours of community service, and let him waltz away? There is no paperwork involved. There is no script. There is no caregiver. He's obviously dealing and got so drunk and stoned, he couldn't remember what was in the trunk. By saying he'll just get probation, you're actually encouraging others to act the same way because it's no big deal. Get real or get lost...

As Greyskull mentioned, this idiot is not only stupid for driving drunk and getting a DUI, he endangered his friends riding with him and everyone else on the road. This guy is going to sing like a canary once they put the screws to him. They're just playing with him now...softening him up...giving him an idea what it's going to be like sitting in a cell for a long, loooooooooong time...

With this mentality, if I were his friend and growing, I'd be moving my stuff like yesterday...

I have been arrested many times, and spent a fair amount of time locked up.

Once you get arrested, the police question you for a couple hours, threaten you and thats it. then off you go to the county jail, they book you, tell you your bond, and allow you to use the phone for a bit. The cops dont follow you around for 2 weeks harrasing you etc. Once they drop you off at the jail, they leave.




Yes the initial threats can be tough. Look up the maximum sentence for certain crimes and you will be amazed. Resisting arrest w/ violence carries a 15 YEAR maximum penalty. Battery on a LEO carries a 15 year maximum sentence. So if you get arrested, and slap the officers arm away while he is cuffing you, you now FACE a 30 year sentence. Will you do that? no but its something the cops can threaten you with.


He got caught with money and weed but they didnt actually catch him selling. I dont know if they could charge him with that. Do they know hes probably selling, yes but can they proove it? nope

3 pounds probably aint shit in cali


I would still be very careful about your own operation. I dont know your friend or the exact charges circumstances. It should be easy to find out his charges. Look up the jail and search by his name. It should have his info and charges, maybe not if he already bonded out.


I would think if they were still peforming a DUI test, they had no cause to search, not sure. If he failed the test and they had him in custody, then yes they can search.

didn't he mention he had a script?(he better be if hes living in frisco) Aslong as he has a script and a somwhat valid medical condition he should be able to get off pretty easily with a awsome lawyer. The 4 grand in cash could fuck him tho not to clear on the law

i dont live in cali but if they give him a slap on the wrist for 3 lbs....crazy shit. 3lbs and cash has dealer written all over him regardless if he has a script...
i'd say he is goin away no doubt. my boy just moved from cali and i mentioned this to him. he said 3 lbs and u will b looked upon as a dealer and the 4000 in cash just adds fuel to fire.

It seems like there is no threshold really. You are either over an ounce or under an ounce.

In my home state, it breaks it down like < than a lb., 1-2 lbs., 2-4 lbs., and > 4 lbs. Over 4 and you are looking at 4-7 years where I am from. Bullshit, when some gangbangers just got 5 years for shooting but not killing some innocent people. Fucking unbelievable.

BTW: Some doctors issue a 99 plant/6# limit. So getting caught with 3 and some cash isnt that bad people are walking from this all the time. Its cali and Frisco was the war front for the Prop 215. I dont think anyone said he was drunk either but if he was then hes an idiot. 3 lbs aint shit, gather your friends and relitves for a long court session but in the end it wont be as bad as you think. I am not telling anyone to go out and do this unless you are a dumbass and think its perfectly fine to tote around 3 lbs with friends just dont start singing cuz a few lb's. Have over 5 and you may want to warm up those vocals if you cant take the heat.
