WORST PART ABOUT GROWING..

Yeh yeh, so many good things about growing. BUT what's your worst thing about it all?

For me. And i'm gonna guess, for a lot of you. God damn bloody TRIMMING!!! I HATE IT!!! its borin, repetetive, n i just dont have the patience.

Oh, n the bloody clean up between grows..

They're fantastic growers but always like to remind u how great they are. People should be more humble. "i grow the best weed." "o no u don't, i do!" Absolutely ridiculous.

The worst part for me is that I cant stop! The first harvest of the year only compares to the feeling of being a kid on christmas. Learning to grow my own medicine has been the most life changing experience, I have such a greater appreciation for this plant species.

without meaning to sound patronizing, you can switch off at anytime and the weed still gros ive tried it and it works ....yes your right about egos, fine weed youve grown or bred yourself often leads to eurphoria! but the endless novices who try to graduate quickly by knocking the advice of experienced growers or posting some tame looking weed on someones personel grow thread for kudos as become part and parcel of growboards commonly known as a pissing contest

Yeh, i'd agree with that. Theres definatly some big head, ego's out there.

For me, the worst part is knowing that all it takes is one nosy neighbor, or some douche at my kids school interrogating her with their bullshit propoganda and she is talked into saying "yeah, Daddy has plants in the closet" and everything I have worked for my whole life comes crashing down in a hail of gunfire all over a fucking weed.

I ONLY grow MJ because I can't find a reliable source and I'm too cheap to pay street prices. I mean, it's cool and fun and all, but I'd rather not do it if I didn't have to. Now if it were totally legal to grow without any fear of prosecution, that's a whole different story.

Accepting things for the way they are. Even though its somewhat lucrative during these days prohibition, it would be very healthy for the world to just legalize.

The laws in the state where I live are not that bad, but they are still the worst part about growing weed here. Other than the obvious, the worst part has to be buying seeds and having them not germinate. I guess after that is planting 8-10 seeds and all the plants are male.

Why does trimming suck? You should be happy that you are trimming. The fact that you are trimming means that you were successful growing weed.

I don't get paranoid. Paranoia is a child's games and one for the mentally unstable. in reality, if you are breaking the law and are paranoid because what you are doing is against the law, you are not paranoid, even when the fear is about getting outed or found out. Maybe you should look for another underlying cause of your irrational fear.

That may be true, but in the end, I'll only accepting things that were.

Why does trimming suck? .... Its BOOOORING, theres not anough hours in the day for me as it is. So sitting there trimming for bloody hours is just one big headache. I know what ya saying, it means all is well, crops good n ready etc.. But the actuall task of trimmin is horrible.. I cant sit still for 10 mins as it is, short attention span to, so is a nightmare for me.

lol, trimming is one of the easiest parts of growing. sure its time consuming and boring but...

The hardest parts are...

-security risks
-jail time
-paranoia
and paranoia isn't for the mentally unstable. a small amount of paranoia is good for everyone. if you have no paranoia at all i question YOUR mental capacity. yes, to much is bad but none at all and your just plain idiotic.

The illegality of it that restricts my garden design, forces me to spend time and money making sure my garden is stealth, rather than designing my garden for ease, convenience and maximum space, and the lack of a legal clone bank (or at least private individuals not afraid of being busted willing to trade or sell clones) where I could get great proven clones rather than the long process of starting seeds and culling for a keeper....

...oh yeah, and the hassle of the 6 hour round trip to the grow store where I pay cash for anonymity and security....I would way rather shop online with a credit card....that goes for seed buying too. I don't get access to many seeds cuz I can only get what my grow store sells.... ....and that is a 10 hour + round trip!
