For the record, he uses 1/2 of the compressed bags per mix i.e. 1/2 of the 3.8cf compressed bags. Each bag of the 3.8cf compressed is good to mix 60gals of the recipe.

This mix is so incredible it needs a bump to the front again.....

I`m just past week 1 of flowering and I`m in shrubville right now. I could only get the 5 gallon bags so hopefully I`ll get a larger plant....

blazeoneup...growers like you make icmag...the best online resource for information on how to grow some awesome bud...by keeping it...so simple

and eventhough...i live within 12 hour drive of the netherlands (and do my current stash-shopping there...lol)...viewing your threads...have definately made me aware of my *strong desire* to grow some of my own cannabis as soon as I get my current business on autopilot

and growing in the dirt...is the way I will go...simply following the information you laid out in here

out of the many, many, many grow threads I checked out in here...yours are...without a doubt...*the best* and *simplest* to use for someone who has never grown cannabis before...or for someone who is currently growing and not getting good results from their efforts

so keep up the amazing work of posting such killer information in here...and thank you once more for taking your time to do that...many I am sure have benefited from it...but are too shy to thank you...lol...or too high

my only question...since I do not grow currently...is how was that chronic that you grew...high-wise?...i smoked chronic from willie wortels coffeeshop...and really liked the taste and the balanced high

but my favorite smoke from the 50+ strains I tried in holland has to be amnesia haze...it just puts me in a magical world for 4-5 hours...with nothing after the comedown...amazes me every time...its as if I didn't smoke at all

which is perfect to roll another joint...and go for the second 4-5 hour roller coaster ride...lol

and the only other strain that comes close is a strain that has DJ Shorts genetics that were crossed by motarebel...and is mostly a blueberry sativa dominant strain...which I buy from a private grower in Haarlem...it is more balanced compared to AH...and has the most amazing colors (green, light green, blue, purple, pink, orange...all in one bud) covered in even more crystals than amnesia haze

and by the way...this grower grows only organic...and has commented that he loves your threads...and uses some of your tips...which was weird when I asked if he knew about blazeoneup on icmag...when we just finished toking on some of his herb...and the feeling was as if I am in a dream when he said yes...amazing what good cannabis can do to us humans...lol

so you have a following in many places...and for good reason...imho

why are you going from the cup to the 1gal?..
didn't you go straight into the 3 or 5gal bags?[/QUOTE

Well simply put I think the mix I posted and used during the rest of this thread is fine so isnt the method, Solid produces nice results everytime.

The mix I am using in my 4k room seems to perform better, Problem is it burnt them up and the plants took off much slower.I decided to run the normal mix posted on page 1 of this thread, Simply because its much better for little ones.

So I will start them in cups plain pro mix, Then switch to this mix in 1 gal bags, Veg 2-3 weeks and then transplant into the mix Im using in the 4k room, So they get that great take off they normally do with the mix in this thread. Then they will be transplanted to the new mix which will help them gain little flavor and extra weight. This is to maximize the yields.

What is the exact mix you are using in the 4K room?
1 3.8 cf bag of pro mix, 1 2cf bag of miracle grow organic, 1/4 bag of foxfarm ocean forest, 1 cup blood meal 1 cup bone meal 3/4 cup dolomite lime, and 1&1/2 cups of kelp meal. 20% chunky perlite!

I got this from the 4k post.

Also will I get better results from a 3 gallon final bag over a 5 gallon final bag?

Thanks.....

could your mix work with ffof only. thats the only good soil i have access to other than miracle grow. dont want to use miracle grow at all. let say for each bag of ffof 1/2 cup blood meal 1/2 cup of bone meal 1/4 cup dolomite lime and 10-20% chunky perlite? do you think this would work? also do u still recommend going from cups to 3 gallons? i like the idea of not having to transplant before i start flowering. thanks for the help trying to imitate a lil and see where it gets me.

Foxfarm Ocean Forest has a lot of stuff in it already... Blaze's mix uses a SOILLESS base like promix (i use Sunshine Mix #4)

i would be worried about burning my plants with FFOF + a bunch of organics, just use Foxfarm and maybe some earthworm castings (wiggleworm or vermicrop) and you will be golden anyway...

And i just used the dixie-cup transplanting method of Blaze's, and it took literally 6 hours before they were growing into their bigger pots.... just make sure to break up the root ball a little. plus veggin in little cups keeps your veg space to a minimum until they are ready to blow up

blaze is indeed somewhat of a genius

props
