I assume these are from the same batch of F2's your bud made?
You've taken a clone from each of your flower SSH? If not I would take maybe 2 from each and try and root one from each pheno. You may find a SICK mother...
I'm going to do the same and I'm sure between the both of us, around 40 beans, we should find something great.

My Uptown is doing well though and most def. "that" shit.

my tallest is about 3' now, kinda scaryin me, but ill be awight.
the moms i got now are crazy as it is. they beastin on me now!!! theyre growin past the lights, so im airclonin' em to see if i can get rid of some of that mid space.
the ORANGE BUD is crazy man!! heartiest thing ive ever seen grow besides the SSH, or could it just be my grow technique? lol
we SERIOUSLY need to stay in contact and have a sesh together man, hanging with this dread cat from work ive rekindled my love for dutche's!! lol

OK OK OK BIG THINGS, BIG BIG THINGS!!!
were coming to the end of week 3 which puts them at 20 days of 12/12 so far andi have to say they are doing quite nicely. . .
nice, lush, green, bushy plants just going nuts in that 4x4!!!. . .
ive been keeping a running tally of the shortest plant and tallest plant in my cab and so far we've hit a low of 2' and a high of 3' and we've still got room to grow!!!
heres a shot of the ORANGE BUD i am flowering as a taster. ive since repotted it into a 1gl grow bag to give it a lil more "room to breathe" so to speak, but this friggin camera does not do this plant justice even in this state/ at this stage. . . . .
heres one of em that , as a clone, had a main stem and some side branches, but who would have guessed that it would sprout up the way it did! the side branches are practically just as tall as the main stem
this is the best pic i could get of the tallest one in the cab. i still have about a foot more of space left so once i raise the hood, ill still be good, this is actually the 3' monster i was talking about. i know that top cola is gonna be sick, and im keepin it!!!!.. . . .
but so far everything is lookin like it wants to tighten up. heres some crappy shots that will in the least give you an idea of whats going on. . .
well all thats left for me to do is take some shots of the new batch of clones that sprouted, so needless to see RAPID ROOTER PLUGS are gong to be the way i go from here on end!! the roots are just bustin out of everywhere on these damned things and the second run is ready to go!!!

the last update was that i had two of my moms in an aircloning setup to try and get them to a point where i could replant them and then sort of "start over" again to be able to take clones. aircloning became my only and last resort once these bastards started to grow past the light i have in my mom part of the veg cab.
but onto more revealing news. . . .
i took some pics of a mom plant that i had to let go for the same reason of it growing past my light. its in the care of a good friend. he and i dont speak much over the phone but we do make appt.s to have face to face discussions about plant care. i gave him my mom plant at about 2' high and bushy as shit at the top. the side branches were nothing to be fooled with either, but enough of this shit, here she is. . . . .
an entire 6-1/2' of purely bushy, stinky, sweet smellin', sturdy, healthy SSH goodness!!!!! this was taken atleast 3 weeks later and under a 250HPS bulb!! can you imagine if it was full spectrum!?!? OMG!
when i told my friend about how tall it could be he said "hell no it cant be 6 or more feet?!", i says " hell yeah it is, im 6' tall and its taller than me!!!" it was a stunning moment for the both of us, cause i had no idea it would have gotten so bushy though, but that one plant (and we counted!!!)could give us 100+ clones easy
heres a shot of the trunk at its base. . .
it has to be about 1-1/2" at the base easy!!!
the space is kinda awkward in the height arena, but i was able to take a pic or two. this is pretty much all i could do with the space given.. . .

ok today i have some issues i need to vent about. i will more than likely be asking about these to others, but my clones arent doing too well, teh ORANGE BUD to be exact.
the story- i left the dome off by accident and came back to find both my SSH and ORANGE BUD dried out, limp and sickly looking. i quickly put the dome back on and the plant started to pick up a lil since there was still moisture in the bottom of the try and on the plugs. i looked a couple of days ago and the SSH were limp but the ORANGE BUD were all crispy and curled up, but still green in the better parts of the plant. i water with clones with SUPERTHRIVE and a BUDSWEL:SUPERTEA (@ half strength) from time to time.
here are the ORANGE BUD clones that were left un-domed on the left and the SSH on the right. . .
i have since put some lightly nuted water in there and , of course, made sure the dome was sealed. word- to- the - wise: these domes have a tendency to warp and leave a lil gap here and there that moisture can seep out from so MAKE SURE THEY ARE SECURELY CLOSED!!! im really hoping that they pick up though.
i have 9x ORANGE BUD clones (left) and 10x SSH clones (right) that i was able to plant in some cups to get ready for a run of their own. . ..
as you can see once again im having this whole crispy leaf thing going on, while the SSH adapted just fine. the soil in the cups is PROMIX-BX with EWC, GARDEN LIME and lil BLOOD/BONEMEAL (VERY LITTLE!!!) but i still cant help but think that the ORANGE BUD cant hack nutes at that early stage. i watered with.
i am gonna try and take some more ORANGE BUD cuts and just use plain water and see what results i get from that, but i am gonna put them in their own dome and see how it pans out that way.

! lolsince its too big to keep, the caretakers are thinking about taking as many cuts from it as are humanly possible to deal with and flower the rest of it. maybe toss it in a large garbage bag (as a grow bag) to see what happens

FID. Isn't your grow located in your garage? Which would mean generally the saem RH and temperatures outside...
It's been chilly and dry these days. That low RH could be giving you the "crispy leaves".
You can tell alot from temp and RH. Go get your self a combo hygrometer/thermometer. It will change your grow!
Looking ok though. The flowering chamber is whats important. You got plenty of time before you'll need clones again...

. i went in to snap some pics to post and realized i left the dome off again. that just means that gettin dinner ready for the fam and tendin to the garden at the same time are a no no for me as i do have tendency to be forgetful.yo ART, good to see you on the check in!!! yeah i have one of the hygrometer combos, but things/ conditions in there are so good for what they are that i never need it again. the heat that the lights provided in my clone chamber are literally perfect. the domed plants worked fine and i have potted plants in there under the same light that are doing fuckin great!! the ORANGE BUD are already showing the new growth. they just needed a sec to get used to the fact that they had some room to grow, now theyre bustin out everywhere.
gotta a job interview to go to, i snapped the pics so ill post them when i come back!!

as i have said in previous posts, i am just guessing via my contacts credentials and the various phenos that i have seen that these beans would have come from GREEN HOUSE SEEDS.
everytime ive grown it, whether it be by seed or cut, the plants themselves have always stayed uniform (very large side colas and one big ass main cola at the top and get thick as fuck all around!!), like the one Franco and Arjan grew out on the youtube vid they have showing the SSH in a timelaps grow.
its shown to be pretty stable so far, no real /major changes other than the normal responses to over-furting and deficiency. i really try to follow the K.I.S.S. METHOD with this grow after learning so much the first time, so far so good.
i plan to see those same thickening results with this grow and really get a heavy crop form this run. what i may do later on is take some individual pics of the bigger plants so i and others can get a better view of the pheno characteristics. its already wk 5 and they have 6wks to go, so if they are double the improvement from this. . .
. . . then im in for a real treat!!

Damn nice colas FiD. Hey man on the clones a lil tip i learned the lid only needs to stay on the first five or so days. In my situation they rooted faster that way you just gotta keep the cubes moist at all times or they will go into shock. Honestly if you have the time and a lil extra change make the ex clone replica http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=40055 in this link. Aero is the way to go if you wanna guarantee 90 percent or more in clone rates.

i have to get over my fears of hydro though. its just that, that shit changes too fast for me man!!! ive heard/ read too many horror stories where people come in one minute and every thing is fine and then , literally, the next minute the plants are drooping!! its a constant
far as i see , but who knows a lil more studying and ill probably end up doing a complete hydro grow (EBB AND FLOW!!! gotta take baby steps! lol)well the other plants i have in a hideaway room are doing fine as well. my "assistant" is keeping me abreast of things as they go. about 13 plants in 3gl bags 11xSSH and 2xORANGE BUD. should be a nice haul this time around. ill take some harvest pics when the time is nye' .
