AK47 or SSH?

Trying to decide between these two for another grow. I'm wondering whether to go with serious or mr. nice. If i went with serious it'd be between the AK and the white russian. If mr. nice, i'd get the SSH. What do you guys think? Anyone here have BOTH? If you could pick only one, which would it be and why?

well the super silver haze would be my first choice believe its worth it its up there with the top smokes a good pheno and your be really happy just takes tooo damn long with serious seeds ive grown both ak and WR good gens easy as hell to grow in soil never did them in dro big fat colas my personal favorite out of serious ak and WR would have to be WR i love the white family and a cross of ak and white widow you cant go wrong good luck in with your choices there good ones what you could do if you really wanna do SSH is put it in the flower room with the others harvest the others when done and leave her in there to finish

well I havent grown the SSH yet, but the AK-47 was an easy one. Of the two tho I would go with the SSH over the Ak-47. I have found the SSH examples I have boughten in the past were superior in quality of high and taste to me compared to the Ak-47 cut I ran. IN the end it comes down to what you are looking for, everyones tastes are subjective, but if end quality of high is important I would prob lean towards the SSH, find a hazy leaning one they are awesome..

So you've just had a sample of SSH and believed it was killer smoke over the AK.. the insight you get when growing it is what i want.. sorry but just smokin it won't get that to you, yield, smell, flowering period, all play a big part in choosing a strain.

reason i keep asking questions is cuz i know alot of people are hardcore Mr. NIce fans.. so i'm not sure if that clouds their judgement, and also the boutique is out of SSH :badday:

AK is very frosty, potent, and easy to grow but bland in flavor IMO, grows nice big fat colas, but not too stretchy of a plant, and is probably good in 60 days or less.

SSH is a spicey and fruity haze that stretches tall and takes a bit longer to finish IME. It is a bit more sensitive to nute burn. I like it better in terms of flavor and high tho, even though the bag appeal isn't so frosty as the AK..It's a taller growing plant with thinner colas than the AK IMO

I've grown sensi SSH ( so this comparison speaks to that SSH) and just did a run of serious white russian.........

As far as a real exotic & most special of smokes, I would recommend the SSH....
However as others have pointed out, it is a pickier one in regard to nutes, much harder to control the size, yields a little less, takes a good bit longer to flower. Also, I noticed more variation in the phenotypes in 10 seeds of SSH.....some shorter & squatter, some lankier, some much frostier than others, just a tougher plant to nail down to your particular likes. Also it can tweak you out a little....

Now, the white russian, is a more classic, skunky, crystal bomb that results in rock hard nuggets. It is a snap to grow, stays very short, is done in about 60 days, and had almost no variation in phenotypes from 12 seeds. The high is great....it hits you like a bus, but it is a very pleasant & happy high...

I recommend the white russian I think you will be pleased as punch. Check my gallery I have a pic of SSH from back in the day and a bunch of white russian pics too.

I just ordered a pack of MNS SSH, I researched strains a few weeks before making my decision. I have not read a single bad thing about MNS SSH, everything anyone says about this strain is positive no matter which pheno they are talking about, all winners.

those two strains are completely different.

super silver haze is a 10 week +

while the ak47 is a quick flowerer that finishes in 47 days.

ssh could get very very very tall fyi!

Have grown WRussian and AK several times and prefer AK of the 2. Have had a pack of Mr Nice SSH for nearly 5 years and just put 4 SSH females to 12/12, 9 days ago. If you want to see how those 4 stretch/grow, i'm on my way to update my "Medman plus" grow and you can see what i end up with for the SSH. Like you, have read all positive about SSH but held back growing due to height worries. Should have worried about the Medman height issues as those are stretchers far more than SSH at this point.
