Zoo's question about molasses

hey zoo sorry for the delay yeah I hand water also 12 gallons a day I have one big rez and fill a second rez with molasses, sweetleaf or sucanat like rd said that stuff is just as good and super cheap at mothers market, all work imo.

Hey zoo blackstrap molasses is awesome, I just dumped a couple teaspoons into the bottom of a plastic water gallon jug (with an inch or two of water already in) then i just filled up at the sink and presto, nice and mixed for a lazy approach. I sometimes also just mixed it with my nutes (house and garden a+b).

yeah!!!

Is molasses used strictly in flower only, or can it also be used in veg? And in flowering can you use it regularly throughout the cycle or just at the end during flush?

I grow in soil and use 1 tbs molasses per gallon of water for every watering from seedling to harvest. I also add other organic nutes to the water as necessary. I used to only add molasses toward the end of flowering, but I figure if it feeds the bacteria in the soil and aids in the plant's nutrient uptake, wouldn't that be beneficial throughout the plants life? If it is in some way harmful, I haven't seen any evidence of that.

Honey

Honey

I jus wanted ta point out honey has a type of antibiotics in it that prolly wouldn't be good for a soil's microherd. Take care... BC

If you're referring to Humboldt Honey being honey, it's not. Glorious stuff, if the price is right. Won't give up my location, but it is. :)

In fact, the closest location for me to see fox farm soil isn't a distributor; it's the factory! The closest distributor from the factory is another few blocks.

Ok I am very new to molasses I know you guys say 1tbl per gallon, is this for all stages?? Seems like a lot for a seedling or small plant...also is 1tbl per gallon for every feeding? In other words if I gave it to them every other watering should I add a bit more? I am getting some Horticulture Molasses and was just wondering these questions. Also is it possible to mess up your plants with too much molasses? Sorry for all the questions...
