Del- Sorry we weren't able to hook up. My weekend got away from me with work. Hopefully next time you roll through I roll your way...

HCA- Hey  Glad to hear you've got your water issues sorted :D Looks like rain here, but looks are definitely deceiving...still bone dry!

Bru- We'll be on the lookout for some pics :D Have you tried dolomite for the gnats? You can get the powder at Lowes/HD in the garden section. You just sprinkle a layer on top of your soil and it's like glass shards to all soft-bodied insects. Nice and non-poisonous, too, if that's a concern.

The stinky guano...is that the seabird pellets? I've used it. Does my plants good, but you're right...OY the stench!

Well, hope everyone enjoyed a great Halloweezy eve. I'm going on a nice hike tomorrow with a nice friend I haven't seen in a hot minute. So long as the weather holds up, I guess. I'll get some pics if there's good light. Hope y'all enjoy your day!

My flower room shuts down at 10am and my veg room shuts down at 3 pm. I just cant fukkin stand it anymore. I cant get used to my room runnin at night and the early morn and all mornin, and then shuttin down for the day. Has anybody re-normalized theyr light scedules yet? Just a bit buggy, but in a good way! Yea Brudda. Its really drivin me nuts havin my lights off in the daytime. I dont figure it'l go much over 70f anymore. I figure the next time my wife says we'r outta ice cream, I think Im gonna put my scedule back to normal. Mabey it'l get me a bit closer back to reality. Sometimes I feel like Im in a dream. Im up all hours of the night with my system and then in the daytime I try to spend the day awake and do my regular daily houshold stuff. Somethins gotta give and I think its gonna be my light cycle. Yea Breth. I hope I wont have too much heat issues but I think Im changin my light cycle soon!

First let me say: "Son of a Bitch!!!" I had a loooong letter and it deleted itself because I cannot figure out how to get color on the fonts.
That said....

EatShitake: Thank you for the dolomite tip! I will try it. I hate these gnats.
The bat guano came from a friend. There are place you can go and dig your own and pay a one price for however much you want. So, I have some for vegging and some for flowering. All I know is they call it 'Desert Bat Guano'.
P and U !!!!

Joesy: Here is what I have: Lifesaver Lemon x LS, Lifesaver purp x Lifesaver Lemon, Sourbubble3 x SourbubbleY, GodBud(Jordon of the Isle)---It is so wonderful(IMHO). My "seansoned friends" always end up dancing the "funky monkey" for me after a smoke, and it almost always takes away my migraines before they start. And such an EASY grow!! This is a great plant all around.

LumberJack: That is one gorgeous plant!!! Put a pretty necklace around that ladies pot. Us girls like to look our best you know. =0)

Fast Pine: Those mountain pics make me think of the Gila Wilderness. God I love high country. My favorite place is a secret spot up in Cloudcroft---waterfall, Aspen, and wildflowers everywhere. Pure heaven.

HairlessCaveDude: Just wanted to say "Howdy" to you!! Enjoy the rain....around my parts it doesn't come to often.

love & peace to all of you(and sorry to anyone I left out. Catch you next time around!)

Hi CaveMan,
I am not good at taste discription. While growing(in flower) the smell is rather peppery/spicey. The smoke is not harsh at all(IMO). A bit piney maybe? I am the worst about harsh smoke though, so trust me when I say: it is delightfully smooth.
Give her a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. =0)

Greetings DSW growers!

Greater Phoenix metro checking in.

This is officially my third try at a growing come-back. I created this account about a year and a half ago during my second come-back try about a year and a half ago when I still lived in LA. So, now I got this old account with no flower pics :bashhead:

The vibe and the grow skills you guys got going in here is exceptional IMO. I actually read the whole thread last weekend but don't ask me to remember too much, cause I'm pretty sure I was working a heavy bubba kush buzz.

Moved to AZ less than a year ago, and even though I'm enjoying it so far, I got me no weed-friendly peeps in these here parts. That meant having to drive to cali everytime I wanted to pick up a sack. And making stoner friends is a little difficult considering the business situation I'm in. That means growing in my little bachelor pad has become my best option.

So, I went through my bins in storage and found the following remnants of my garage-growing days:

I've also got a 400w HPS ballast but I'll have to do a microgrow and use a 250 instead, so my op will be kinda tiny compared to most of you guys...

welcome de toke, looks like your off to a good start and have the right equipment. I grew up in phx.

Thanks, Joesy. How's your legal situation? Are you near to getting your med card? (told ya I was a lurker) I remember when Nevada had the worst pot laws in the nation, lol. Arizona's aren't great that's for sure. Have to worry 'bout stuff here that I wouldn't think twice about in Cali...

When worms starve

When worms starve

We may be in the same age group

I don't remember the other characters in the scene or who was dead or why Josey had to kill him, but one of the greatest movie linesd of all time comes from that flick The Outlaw Josey Wales. Someone asks Josey if they aren't going to bury the guy. Josey just spits his tobacky right on the dude's forehead and said: "Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms..."

Naa, not familiar with Brogdens. If Ya lived in Bukeye Ya had to live in a cotton field! Yea MAN! Thats onna the most incredible things I ever seen! My trailor was rite on the edge of KJ's market and rite acros the fence from me was the cotton field. Dude usta take that double prop helicopter to within 2 feet of my trailor! Dude was a NUTT! Hed pull his stik up just in time not to hit our trailor and then he'd just hang there in the air for a second, till he started fallin back down on us. Of corse he never hit us. He'd pull outta his dive rite before he hit our place everytime and zoom away back down to the other end to start another row. WILD! Yea Brudda! There was cotton everywhere! I really loved it out there! The sun would set real crazy just bout anytime of the year. All kindsa reds and purples and even greens and yellows and shitt! Shootin stars every night too!

Another proud desert dweller checks in after stumbling across the desert thread. Lookin good y'all! Been mostly lurkin since OG went down but beginning to come out of my worried shell. I love the desert, have lived here since I was 6, came from the freezin cold back east. Love the low humidity and the high temps. Low humidity = bigger jucier trichs. Any of you AZers remember/hear of the Southern Arizona Sinsemilla Growers Association? My 2 brothers used to get buds through them back in the 70s, came in mason jars with a label on them? Desert thread has me thinkin back... and rambling on... Here's my baby from a couple weeks back. Pic says day 28 ish but I think it was more day 21. Bogglegum/150 watt/organic (relatively organic). I'll get a newer one up here after lights on...
