you were not in compliance. and obviously in Sheriff's juris and be wary the relationship between them and Fed should not be trusted now imho.

rubbing a bad search loophole in thier face gives the fed a reason to focus on you. you know......all med pt's will abuse the system and flood our schools with medical-grade marijuana....

if you were in compliance i would say lawyer up.

usually Sherriffs are cool in many parts of the county; but not all.

Lets face it, you were in the wrong. All the popo did was take your shit. I know it sucks but it could be much worse. I can only pray to god that they just take my stuff.

You may be able to get your stuff back as it is evidence for a crime you may have committed and it should be held for a certain amount of time. Not sure what the time frame is, it may already be gone. Hire a lawyer, fight it for a year, possibly get thrown back in jail or get some probation or bring some federal attention to the matter

Or you can thank your lucky stars and find a new place to start over.

BTW How much do you think a lawyer is going to charge to represent you? Hes not just getting your stuff back, hes now defending you in a criminal case. Its not cost effective IMO

As far as your neighbors being cool with it... You really need to rethink your whole loose lips sinks ships strategy and why you got stabbed in the face.

Good luck

i think this might have had part to do with it, but if cops have to come to your house cause you got stabbed... even if they didn't do everything legit, you should just chill out prob, get a shotgun to shoot the guy with knife next time, and move somewhere (said someone ed:) else and stay within your legal limits so when the dea guys dressed in black water shirts come break down your door later with a search warrant, you dont have 100 plants again!!! And as far as not having charges yet... the state, or the feds could and might still step in and press their own charges after reviewing the case, so just dont be stupid and lawyer up either way, then know what to do for all the ifs ands or buts!

I know the state only has so much time (60-90 days?) to file charges. This may be after an actual arrest though. If not arrested, then they may have much longer.

If this happened in April I doubt there will be any follow up. You may still want to talk to a lawyer, they can look into it and tell you the status. The plants and all drugs have to go to a lab to be tested I believe. Obviously plants cant just sit in an evidence room. If there are no lab reports, then maybe you can get your equipment back as now there is no actual evidence of a crime.

Now that I think about it, I would talk to a lawyer. I would hate to have that lingering and not know what the hell was going on.

Thank God you have your papers. What ever came of this? I know a guy who was raided by narcotics feds with 30 odd plants. He had no script(even after all his friends told him he needed one since he used it for med reasons :) and he had guns registered to his name in a locked safe. They left a similar inventory list. 2 months later they phone him and convince him to meet them in a park claiming to want some type of service (legal business) they then proceed to arrest him and he stays in jail for a couple weeks (no lawyer or cash) and they try to charge him with bud sales + gun in a public park...
Total lie and total setup...I couldn't believe it, but it's true....

I would hardly consider letting the incident go, being "walked all over".
As a few people have mentioned, the only thing to do in this situation is cut your loses and lay low. He had 100+ plants which by federal law is some serious sh*t. The Sheriff's regularly pass cases off to the feds in CA. Yeah it would be nice to fight them all, but keeping yourself out of jail is priority #1.

CBF i dont understand why months later your guy went and met feds in a public park for any sort of business. Sounds crazy. I hope he's alright.

So "all your neighbors know you are growing" and you got stabbed in the face. I'm going to award you the IC dumbass award of the month.

Consider yourself lucky. It was only a matter of time.

It was 2 months after the fact, they setup a meeting to do legal business, buy/sell a pet or a piece of furniture etc. He had no gun, had no herb, he knew it was a setup tho because it was so obvious, but what do you do? Run from them for no reason?
The first hearing, a few weeks ago, the DA did not file charges and let him out of jail. It seems like they're trying to get him on different charges? Anyone have similar experiences? This is happening, no BS

This is the outrageous thing i'm trying to tell you, he had no gun, they are trying to frame him with the gun they got in his house it appears. Check this out tho, luckily he went down to inquire further and "discovered" he had a court date with a Felony arraignment hearing next week and was never informed, he would have automatically been on warrant without even knowing it, very sneaky tactics, insane really. Now he needs to go back and see what new charges are...very shady tactics, be careful out there..

wow man i feel so bad for you, that is a fucked up situation. being someone that grew up in orange county though, that is the way those assholes are. Moving up to long beach or somewhere in LA county and you will be much better off with cops fucking with you for growing.

sounds like they may have been giving him a bit more rope to see where he would run with it (expanding the case??).

I suppose the construction of evidence against him could be used for leverage if they wanted him to .....play ball.

Sucks and more reason to
dont tell, dont smell, and dont sell.

ASA man, google it, you can file a motion to get your shit back. Not sure bout the feds being called in and picking up a case, i would probably side with Yamaha and cut the losses and save the money on a lawyer to get my stuff back.

I would just grow 6 hydro scrog monsters until i moved to a new safe location, that almost no one knows about.

Yeah man, I didn't know how shady and insane they were. There were like 6 dudes waiting in the park to arrest him. They let the friend he was with go, then locked him up for a week, then the judge "took no action" so he was released. He later found that he had a court date the following week randomly by searching his case out and would have been served with a warrant if he hadn't shown up. The fucked up thing is that he was never notified...insane..now he gets to go in for different charges..they are trying many angles it appears, he even got summoned by the IRS for an audit, coincidence?
