icough2getoff, i cant wait either my brothers grow and seed making room is finnishing well. Bigbuds to be harvested any day now and white rhino next week.
Pollinated plants will need to stay longer Bigbud only pollinated last week, white rhino maby 4 weeks ago just getting first beans now.

Fresh seeds all collected in the last hour. left to right bagseed x my w. rhino clone, seeds from a Js clone x Male Bagseed then on the right Best two males Bagseed x to best fem, these are the same seeds ive just popped.


Outdoor spring germination straight into rhizotonic soaked coco as all my seed germs. Of mixed Bagseed. The larger plant is a sativa that flowered for ever and dropped seed in last weeks but still a good smoke a good male from these or many of leftovers might offer up a decent male.

Hi there fella my room slopes to one end with a pond liner or panda film on the floor all the waste just goes on the floor runs to one end and then down through brick work floor. Once a week i flush the res and pots and get the hose into to was any built up salts away. Not much goes wrong in a 10 week grow you just cant have pools that increase humitity. My room runs warm eveporation of water that doesnt make to the end of grow evaps within5/ 10 mins.


Not the flattest canopy ive grown but 12/12 timing is pretty hard to get perfect, Im glad glad you like this scrog idea is great for low plant number growing. I have had 2 plants cover 1.3mx 3m area and finnished in under 3 months.
I havnt overgrown so im not going to have a trimming nightmare ahead, we have bulk cuts ready about for sog or atleast 4 pots per light (7 day veg) for my next round.



that has very uniform and consistan growth in males and fems. These seed below 4 days in are from that cross. 1 pale seed failed wouldnt crack so didnt hol high hopes.




Next up a new product here im sampling Rhizogel from canna has anyone used it got the B version of canna new root gel. to me it seem just slightly too runny but in 3 days we shal see what works best growth tech purple/ dutch master soft wood, richgrow powder and the rhizogel. So far 3 days old and theres alittle blue fungi in the cap but was a sample 10ml with limited shelf life.

Hey Herbal essences all is well mate everything be green in the grow and its the start of another lazy weekend.:friends:

Not much of an Update other than ive run out of NUTEs and have to get shopping done early tomorrow.

Lately the weather has changed dramaticly basicly over night from 10cnights/ 20c days to spring/ summer weather 20cnight/ 30+ days. Minor heat issues in my veg cab when i checked today but nothing a second fan wont fix.



Heres the seedlings i planted last week looks like i got near 100% germ accross 3 different bagseed strains even pale under developed i put in the odd pot look to have come up too. Larger seedlings started under HPS are from my recent Bagseed grow M and F cross unsure what will come of these guys at this point probally a good Outdoor project considering there slow pace and now being before normall Sat planting of Nov/Dec. Bagseed x white rhino and bigbud im still collecting but soon as theres space we'll start a test grow indors. The male and female used to make the "Bs x Bs" Are both very slow growing plants with no stretch so the hps start might just equal out in plant size by sexing time in a few weeks.




Lastly Outside seed germing seed here and there but in a corner im quite proud of my little Bigbud plant glistening in the sun and dropping her first seeds..








I havnt seen the scrog all week so when she lights up in an hour or so ill further Update with more pics.

Hi again herbal essences,

sure i can help with a bit of a guide all plants and rooms differ slightly so id start with less as its easier to up the nute than working out how to fix burnt small plants.

Seedling germination
Pretty basic really, i start by cleaning a crib, soak rockwool in 1.2ec nute with full dose rhizotonic / 5.8ph but lately ive been germing in coco is easier and cheeper as i always have a bag lying around. Seed soak R/o or low ec water with full dose rhizotonic 50ml of this rhizo mix goes into a steralised shot glass add the seed and place in a cool dark place for 24 to 48 hours checking every 12 hours. Normally after 12 to 24 hours the seeds will start to sink and then crack open, hold off planting until you have a 1cm or 1/2 inch tail or root. Without skin contacting seed glove or spoon seed into your rockwool, coco, or grow mix. plant tail down about 5mm or 1/4 inch under soil then sit back and watch them grow. make sure pots dont dry out too much under HPS, first roots are pretty delicate + a healthy start gives you the best chance of a fast grow

If or when its summer save alittle power and use the sun aint nothing wrong with the HPS in the sky.






herbal all my seedling wont get a feed till there atleast 3 weeks old and outgrown starter pots. clones i start to feed as they root with 1.4 to 1.8ec once out of coffee cups and under HPS. vegging cuts and mums get full canna range + silica with nutes at 1.8ec i only plain water if plants look alittle too green.

in the last week ive chopped the tray grow down leaving the bigbud seeded clone to offer up more seed for my cause and quickly replanted a few cuts(pics when i visit) for my brother to take care of IF the heat doesnt create too many issues with our less than ideal ventilation in the small room.

hi all.

pleasently stoned again and back from an eventfull week away, went up north for an early taste of summer and an early tan. was ment to be a weekend of lazing about BUT there was little smoko to be found to resorted to booze and ummm yes burnt more of my brain with some good turkish liquid lsd.

returned last night to find my brother had done well looking after the final flush of the scrog grow

opened the veg room to find alot of planting and more cuts taken hard to complain when everything is so clean and green i think its about time i set something alittle larger for the younger bro.

like the name same as i gave to my car after hitting a stupid round about that the council put on a unlit normally open road 80kph limit over night. wasnt filled with sand yet so i pretty much killed her but she will be back from the dead now 6 months on.

Back to the green i mostly play with my two favorite clones bigbud and white rhino both gifted to me years ago. have grown a few of dutch passion strains great germ rates but didnt fancy what i had purchased mazar being the best of the bunch, serious seeds w russian excelled over widow, durban poison, hog, hash plant,and a dubble gum cuts but nothing came close to what i was already growing and smoking although i think i could get better from the russians if had more time and seed. harvest and pre harvest shots comming all through this week waiting for a few more amber trics about day 70 both strains should be just about at there peak resin production period.

take care and stick with the coco just remember that seed grows better than balls

icoughtogetoff thanks mate im pretty happy myself looking back on past grows it does seem canna boost does or has changed the apperance of the finnished bud. Mainly i see less late flower stretching but could be globe related well over 8 blooms or about 18months old.

A bit of a nute change for the start of our 1m x 1m tray grow. single part hydro generations coco veg without kelp for it much higher nitrogen levels over the standard canna coco nute that ill start using in a day or so as we reach about 10 days into flower. AS an added addditive im trying an Yates natural/ organic as stated on bottle seaweed, fish emulsion, blood and bone with added natural NPK no ratio given. its more for the hand waterer fu#^it stinks. I hate cleaning at the best of times so ill use the rest of the bottle on my tomatos or hand watered only, seems like a great way to start cuts or seedling they love it but isnt really strong enough at full dose for 3 foot tomatos : .

smoking up while i check on the youngins, thirsty but healthy


mixed cuts we both prefure the Bigbud stone so guessin more BB than white rhino.




a new toy i aquired cheep unopened water monitoring meter battery or wall adaptor wont be trowing the trunchon but i got this for less than the price of the cheepest good PH meter that i need to replace. calibrating the Ph looks alittle complicated need 4.1, 6.86 and 9.18 PH calibration solutions will get it working sometime this week or for the start of the next scrog

hi everyone

5:24 am my help just bailed on me

we decided to harvest 2 lights worth of the scrog late yesterday day 68- or
10 week flower. The heads are so chunky throughout the whole canopy and sticky as ive seen Bigbud.




Luckly i had a helper and a light smoker trimming was a breaze. Chopped just below the canopy or last bud 30cm lengths trim 5 or 6 leaves frosty ones in a bucket for hash. Ate smoked then started the trim at 11pm fin at 5;30am

this strain came to me through a friend a few years ago, i knew i was onto a good strain when grow after grow the bigbud out yielded many strains and has a stone we really like..

More than likely bigbud is a selected plant or pheno from a grower that had the time to look for a winner unfortunatlly after he found a few tried to make a few $$ selling them he came undone.

Today i got most of the green out of the flower room only popcorn to trim keep the best bits and hash the rest.

Trying to work out how i should grow this next time around under 3x 600wt.
12 to 14 10litre pots in my 1.3m x 3.0m space
OR
27 7 litre pots

there will only be a week max in the differing veg periods, think ill go the 10s i already have 20 or so and will also be saving on coco with a 50/50 mix with perlite...




Many of these to come isnt much res in the sky but generally spring gives the best sunsets







Always growing on starting a grow for next year but this one is special one of my first in house crosses.

The only plant i used pollen from all 3 males on this Bigbud should give me many phenos to play with maby even back cross to self, bigbud clone or the original male/s. im stoned can smell great food and have confused my self, lets just take the breeding one step at atime. Id love to be able to share aussie genes with all but im not about ton set them loose before i get respected feed back once i get some test batches out...in 09.

yep it does us/ me well.

I try to keep it simple after all it isnt a hard plant to grow specially outside this time of the year. This week has gone well harvested cleaned out the room ready for another run and have the room ready for another grow.

Heres 4 types of bag seed and a few clones in the front.







while where on bagseed heres the first bagseed x white rhino and bigbud seedlings cracking and a bsxwr @ a few weeks. started well so ive planted a few more hope to flower these fast in the smaller flower room 4 weeks from finnishing.
16x bagseedm3 x bigbud and
16x bagseedm3 x white rhino in the ice trays .






Im totally over grown and have a decent selection of plants to flower in and outdoors.
