Hey hows it going guys this grow is kind of a trial run while i finish my grow box and make sure i know it works right. These are three bagseeds of random dank put them in the soil between sept. 21-23. right now they are in a closet with just a fan blowing on them and the door stays open when lights are on. I am going to move them to a box i am in the process of finishing. Anyway soil is MG seed starter(its what i could get locally) i got the one with lowest amount of fertilizer in it. I cant complain so far no nute problems, going for foxfarm next time. I switched them over to 12/12 on the 8th of october so far no signs of sex but they are all branching like females im hoping for three girls. no nutes so far, watering about once a week. Got one 65w soft white and 4 26w 2700k warm whites. Im thinking about switching the 26's for 42's but i cant get them locally and they are worth about 11 each online. anyways am on a rant now let me know what you guys think...show some love if you like em!!

nice start. they looks healthy.
keep on working on the cab, but I think you should add more light if you want to use that space. how big it is? how big are the pots?
anyway, you should see first flowers in a few days. (it usually takes about two weeks to show sex)

sorry for my badass english.

they are in 6" pots and one of them in a cut milk half gallon. The space is about 14" deepx3'longx3'height. I was thinking of adding in 4 more 26w when the cab is done. It will be almost 300w for that space. I hope its enough, trying to find some cheap 42w warm whites to switch out the 26's. thanks for posting!!

off to a good start.. do you plan to keep that shelf in there? I would recomendreplacing it with a wire shlf otherwise the air from your intake wont make it up to your plants, also make sure you run your box with a thermometer inside before you put your girls in make sure your temps are right.your plants are looking good, any plans to take clones a produce a mom?? that box looks good for a sog

no time for a mother on this run since im going away for christmas, Im getting some seeds sometime before i leave and i plan to start a sog at the begining of next year. This time around its just me building a box while i got some plants in a closet. Trying to get like 10-12 plants in there next time. Looking at K-train from greenhouse seeds, its kush with trainwreck. I am also looking at afghan Kush and Skunk#1, but dont know if i should try a sativa like Amnesia or Delahaze. Apart from that im ordering from attitude so ill get 5 free power skunk and a free feminized durban poison seed. Let me know what you think and if you have any experience with these strains. And yes the shelf has to be modified, im thinking of just drilling a bunch of hole in it. Thanks to all for stopping by.

hey can someone experienced with building exhaust/intake ducts help me out?? Maybe Dr.Bud can show some love with a lil help? anyway anyone that wants to help feel free. I have 2 exhaust fans that are about 4x4" and trying to mount them and put a duct or something i can attach some carbon filters too and prevent the lights from coming in/out.

i was thinking of putting some weatherseal between fan and box, and taping a piece of something like dryer ducting to the top of the fans. Thinking of making a carbon filter like this http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=48949. Im not very good at building but ill give it my best shot. Any advice or pics of setups will work just trying to get a little input before i put this thing together.

oh and the plant on the top right is a female showed sex on the 18th!! shes growing at a stunning rate too.

Havent fed any nutes yet got shultz 10-15-10 trying to get superthrive and fish emulsion but cant find it locally. They are almost a month old and have been flowering since the 8th. My camera isnt any good on taking close up shots its very old digital like 4 megapixels i thought was pretty good but the zoom is terrible nothing but blurr. Ill get some updates when you can see noticable growth on them :). Any comments appreciated.

is that the only intake on the right side. think that will create hot spots in the cab. but add one to the left. i had cab with same type setup ventilation wise. but if you get a big enough fan to swirl the air around inside cab you should be alright.as far as plants i would do some type of training to them to maximize yield. best temps for my plants are 74-80 being max. peace :joint:

They look nice man, maybe a little over watered or maybe just watered before the pic was taken?, But they look nice and healthy good job man. I used fine screen pany hose and active carbon for fish tanks over my fans but some light still shines out but it is in the back against a wall, I saw some stuff that looks user friendly if you want to try it I have heard it works and it don't ??? but it looks like it would be easy to work with if smell is a problem. http://www.filters-now.com/ldpic.php?pic=/images/carbon_roll_lg.jpg&lnk=&sub=FMRCBP48X80X.25#picture to just block light can be as simple as the air going threw a maze in a tissue box ,, Or larger container with a built in carbon filter it is really what ever you choose to do. Their is more than one way to get something that works for your situation. Do a search of threads with key words like DIY exhaust/Intake and Carbon filters, peace

Thx for the input blackfoot, i have seeen ur micro sog and i got to say i love it hehe. anyway hope you watch me ride this one out man.

wishbone: thx man, im gonna lst them soon. I got two exhaust on the top to take the heat out of the light area, one fan is on the left hole. and ill put an intake at the bottom of cab. Gonna put it together this weekend, new pics up next week

Update, the smaller plant turned out to be a male :(. oh well im down to two confirmed females that are starting to slowly swell up in pistils. New pics coming in soon. Besides that the plant that was overwatered this week is still a little droopy. Im starting to think that it has too much nitrogen. Its in MG seed starter soil(its the MG with least amt of nutes) and i hit it with 1/4 strength Schultz's 10-15-10 and thats when it got droopy. Im gonna switch to tap water that has been sitting for the next few waterings and see what happens. Any comments/suggestions appreciated.

male :(

Mr Bitti,,
Heree is a idea i have used to GREAT success on my fans on my micro gro cab..
I had the same fans as you.. I got a STERELITE plastic shoebox from wally world..
I cut off one end. I then painted it black with PLASTC spray paint. (could us duck tape...) Then placed it OVER the exhaust fan. with the cut off end faceing down. efectively blocking out the light. Of course i keep my grow area KINDA dark (blinds closed all the time.... Might not be conventional, but worked for me... pax

Coming into third week of flowering. Plants very hungry for N. Fed them last night with 1/3 strength schultz 10-15-10. Gonna transplant as soon as i can get a ride to the hydro store to help relieve the rootboundedness if that makes sense. Let me know what you guys think

both

droopy female

Perky female

Both again

Mr.Bitti Good work on the Cab.The problems your having right now is in part to your soil as peat breaks down over time and becomes acidic so test the ph of your run off then adjust the ph before your feed her anything.Root bound is just a state of mind plants can stay in any size container the length of it's life.

Thx alot man, very appreciated. I ordered a GH ph control kit last week but the company was out, so i placed an order again this weekend. Hoping to get the kit by friday if not monday. I'm gonna keep feeding at 1/3 strength this week then next week i should be able to move it up to 1/2 strength and ph it with the kit. Again the help was very appreciated.
