Thanks for all the reactions. The Purple Peace is super sweet tasting herb. The high is kind of mellow and creative, a real nice daytime smoke.

I am really liking those huge soil beds

I have been watching people grow out in rubbermaid totes for a while now, and I am so close to running one. My issue is with drainage, do you have some sort of hole at the bottom, and if so where does the runoff go?

dr.dog...i see peeps using the tops of the totes upside down for a tray to catch the runoff...like a few holes in there and the bottom few inches is strait perlite...one dude even used them foam shipping peanuts in the bottom.

Hey folks sorry for my slow reaction. Been very busy the last week. I got my license for the store. Meaning where a legit smart-head-grow shop now yeahhhhhhhhhhh . It was a hell to get it. about 3,5 years to be exact.

T the Bubba Kush i topped once then let grow. Then clean the lower growth dont cut away any branches. Then top all top growing points and let veg atleast 3 days afther topping better 5 days. Then i swith. I will get you some new pics from the Bubba she is finaly starting to grow a litle. They are so slow.


Dr.Dog i drilled a lot pf holes in the bottem. All i need to do is put it on 2 pieces of plastic wrapped wood. So it stands a litle higher and so there is more airflow at the bottem. (also Better Drainage)

bro tell me about it ive been veggin a few bubas for a while now,im gonna top the hell out of them and make some bushes.that way when i want clones i have atleast two mama bushes to get them from.its gonna be some bomb smoke i know the draw back is the slow veg time though...the sensi star i have is kinda slow veggin too it stays so short....bomb smoke though so i deal with it

I couldn't resist to make this grow litle more dificult. So i threw in a few unvegged sativa dominant strains. Got some Sweet Skunk (SOL-Cut) and some Casey Jones, C99 x DC and Sour Diesel. al from cut's i have for a long time but never flowerd. This way i get the problem of them stretching high above the indica strains.

I hope that the longer vegged indica's have enouf roots to take it up against the sativa's. will be a bondage run for shure. Just realy want to see that sweet skunk and casey jones.

I switched them to 12/12 will get some pics up before the real stretch starts.

Am busy starting up a litle comercial grow. The room is almost ready will run 60 amnesia, 40 SSSDH and some lose stuff like HB x ChemdogD IX1, Bubba, HB. It's done the easy Dutch way. Meaning no walking space and full of pots with soil. Its a small room less then 9m2 i am hanging 9 x 600w HPS and a 2500m3 extraction.

Will get you some pics of this dutch Ghetto style setup.

going to be a great show with 5400 watts, so about 10 or so plants under each light, is this going to be a SOG style grow with smaller plants single colas etc?

yes they will only be vegged very short and then straight to 12/12. It wont be a real clean SOG since there is differnt strains in there. But it will be nice to look at.

dr.dog dont want to keep you waiting here are the first shots.

I just planted the cuttings here. The back of the room is Amnesia the front is SSSDH and some lose plants for extra smokers stash hi hi got some untested fem. from the HB x ChemdogD IX1 in there a Bubba Kush a Happy Brother a Kushage#16.

They are all in light mix soil. Gave them a watering with some Rhizotonic and some Aptus start up. Next watering they will get some Canna Bio Vega. to get them started. They will only be grown till they have been cleary grown a few cm. then they will be switched to 12/12 right away.

As for the show tent. The night temperatures been on the low side need to put some extra heating in there. Still they seem to take off right away afther te switch.
