northern lights,sensi star,white widow(black widow), afghani,black domina, G13, maple leaf indica,hawaiian indica,NL#5/Haze,ICE, chrystal, to name a few. i know the nl#5/haze is mostly sativa but if you get the good sh#t its strong.

I agree with smokn1. youre never gonna get an exact answer, theres no way possible to do so because people react differently to the different strains. You'll be able to get a ballpark of what everybody's favorites are or what THEIR most potent strains are, but it all comes down to you yourself. Hope this helps and good luck!

no such thing, I think the diesel strains are kinda weak but I am the only person I know that doesn't love them.

White Russian smokes everything on Micks list so does White Rhino IMHO (I just used Mick as an example) ... But like previously posted ... Different Strokes For Different Folks ... You're going to have to figure this Conundrum out for yourself young growdie ...

Of course tastes differ, but there are very potent cuts out there, be it Sativa or Indica, and much weaker cuts also, depending if they came from a seed or an "elite" clone that has been selected from thousands of individuals.
You could pop a a seed that came from a very potent OG KUsh plant that was crossed with a male of a different variety, yet the set of genes are different and the baby OG KUsh seedling may have very different phenotype, maybe less THC. So your question is very vague, but aside from variations and seed/vs elite clone I'd venture to say that some of the strongest herb I can remember lately would be OG, Bubba, Pure, Master KUSh (some cuts), Purple Kush, Cheese, AK 47, chemdog, urkles, U2, Green Crack, there are so many, and most of the top elite cuts are more potent than most seed born buds. In the top elite clones in Cali I'd say THC % is very similar and no real scientific studies have been made to test each strain in circulation, it's the effects that vary depending on species, so potency could be subjective in those terms, Indica's being more narcotic and Sativas being more "energetic" highs. Now is this from seed weed or do clones count too? Not everyone can get the bomb cuts is why I ask and because this SCREAM is kicking my head in.

I guess my point was different people look for different things in a high.
I smoke sativas pretty much exclusively, I am growing out my first round of 100 percent indica plants right now.
If the indica puts me on my ass, does that make it stronger than my Sats that I can smoke all day long and function? I suspect the feelings will be equal but different.
If I was going to recommend one strain and one strain only it would be Kali mist.

buddy any good strain will hit you like a BUS if grown right. But I agree with weedman White russian is wonderful. However a silver haze or jack herer or even a skunk 1 pheno grown right can make you so confused you can't drive a car, or buy groceries. You need to illustrate what knid of buzz you want to get a better feel for what strain.

That is how I view them. There are lots of differences plant to plant, but they basically fall under one or between the types. More often than not people cannot detect the anxious/happy as much as the mellow/drunken high. The physical effect is also a whole other aspect to the high. Just my view.
