Heya Dog 
yea they really got some stretch goin...should stop soon...but yea some of the taller branches have made it to light level, but they are twards the back of the cab, and the way I have my cooltube/exaust/circ fan in there lets me get really dang close to the bulb (bout 3-4 inches) before I start burning...plus these sat doms that I have been working with can tolerate heat like champs!
But I did move the light up today...so they got a lil more room...They have been chugging the water lately...between my 2 setups they go through 3 gallons every day!!!..

Thanks man...nope never had a problem with mold or fungus...im kinda at a high altitude so I think the air is too thin to be habitable for many nasties..
I totally let the pellet soak to expand it like normal, then I take it out and give it a good squeeze...so its not drippin at all..kinda like a damp washcloth..or somethin ?? I should weigh one after the squeeze and give ya the approx weight...
(putting on scientist hat)
ok After soaking and squeezing out the puck weighs about 33 grams...still damp, but not wet.
Then I put em in my lil cup humidity domes for a week or two giving a few drops of water if things start to dry up and BLAM:
Ready for liftoff!
Those are my first roots so far on this clone run(a C99)...after only 9 days!
You can also see how I cut off the bottom mesh of the pellet to give the roots free run.

well I found a few more thrips again, and this time I'm callin in some troops
Meet Maj. Thripmuncher in charge of sector tree2niner (stickyberry mom in veg)
She/(he?) and about 100 or so of her kind are now part of the 420th ladybird battalion that is now stationed in my growspaces providing support in the ongoing battle against the evil thrip horde. They are also on a mission in support of the precautionary search for any signs of spidermite or other sapsuckers of the like.
They have standing orders to kill and devour on site.
Rollin without a doubt!

my lady bugs...i let 3000 loose in there like 8 months or so ago right...like half of them flew strait into the lights kamikazi style and was dead in a day the rest lasted maybe 2 weeks and was done for...
oh well i think maybe is the lights was aircooled it woulda stopped all that.peace yo

Core- Yup having the lil bastards is no fun...but at least they aren't spidermites...

yea i was trin to give my ladybugs water too yo butit was mt first time having them and i dint know how to keep them alive too good.if i ever need them again i think i would be able to keep tem beter...im glad they are workin out for you bro.peace

Dr D-YO my ole northern growbro! Thanks for swinging by! yea the Boomstick is quite a looker! She should start packing it on here in a week or two....Then she will do the calyx swelling! She is one of the plants that I made from a ak47 (cherry pheno male) X sour diesel bx1.5. (selected out of probably 6 SDxAK girls so far).She really is a champ...never seen other plants do the calyx swelling at the end except for my stickyberry (same male used in the cross BTW)...twards the end it looks like you have seeded buds, but there is none, just HUGE BULBOUS calyx's!! covered in huge bulbous trics!!
Anyone interested should go back a few posts to post #403 to see the pics of her previous runs...This is my third run (2nd in the buckets) of this particular plant...Previously called "SDxAK" in other runs
dexter840-Heya man...I know you have been lurking and learning a bunch (mad props bro, thats how I roll too), Good luck on your ebb and flow venture... Once you get it down it is almost effortless besides the rinsing of the hydroton between runs!!! If you have any problems/Questions I'd be glad to help, and I'll make sure whatever it is gets into my tutorial so others can benefit!

Yea this is my first run of the GSKush,and she has huge nugs for only being in flower for a few weeks so far (UNDER ONLY 150w!!!)...unfortunatly the mother (seed) plant that these cuts came from died due to neglect (dried up )
but I have 3 more GSKush seedling plants going on that I hope to find a more pungent smelling pheno from!

Heres the tallest cola (actually grew above the light!) You can really tell how bulletproof this strain is...those leaves that got burned were actually almost touching the bulb...and it only fried the leaves till about an inch away!!! Yes thats right I have my plant is within 1 inch of the 400 w bulb! (my kick-butt ventilation probably has something to do with it too...)
Having it soo close makes her chug the water though...the system is chugging about 3 gallons a DAY!
Oh and another thing I should add is that I only changed the res one time so far this cycle (a few days ago)...really got her goin again! all of those curled leaves twards the tops of the buds have stood out!

The Boomstick is made from a cross I did of a sour diesel bx1.5 female (from rezdog), and a cherry sativa pheno AK47 male(from serious seeds)...my favorite out of about 10 beans popped..
